Originally, there was no name of "church." The time of Jesus is called the temple, and all the stories are from the temple. When Jesus said you should not believe in the wrong gods, he said it at the time when the people were playing with money in front of the temple—the golden bull, the golden Nandi. So he said, "You people believe more in gold than in God. You believe in money, but money will destroy you." So originally, it is temple, but maybe it developed, and perhaps in the Latin language, I don't know, it's called church. But church is also a very beautiful name. So whether you are in a church, an āshram, a temple, a mosque, a stupa, or in forest prayer, equally, do not make differences. You know, there is only one religion. And that religion is called Sanātana Dharma, the eternal religion. Religion means uniting; that means we are united with the cosmic Self. That is our relation to God and our duty to realize. So, realize your relation; that is religion. And that is the eternal religion, not a man-made religion. The man-made religions are those religions or teachings of the great incarnations. If Kṛṣṇa was preaching, still Kṛṣṇa was in human form, a human—that's man-made. If Jesus was teaching, he was in human form, a human—so that's man-made. But what is not man-made is eternal: God, creation, living beings, nature, universal consciousness, universal life. That is Satya, that's the truth which is binding, which is holding all together. So one dharma is called Sanātana Dharma. In Sanātana Dharma is bounded all, the entire creation: even mountains, forests, rivers, deserts, animals, birds, fish. And the second dharma is called humanity. A human—so we are all human; we were not born with a stamp on our body: "You are Hindu, you are Christian, you are Muslim, you are Buddhist." We do not have a stamp on it. We are born as human. We are born as human. We will live as human, and we will die as human. When we die, there will be no barriers. Like when you go to a border now—EU citizens, other passports—so there is not like this. When you die, they will not say, "You are Hindu, go to Brahmaloka; you are Christian, go to heaven; you are Muslim, go to paradise." No, only it will decide your karma; karma pradhān—karma is the main thing. What you did, your deeds, will divide you. Your deeds will bring you; there is no one sitting to guide you like this. And if you think that your God will say, "Oh, thank you, my son, you killed so many other innocent people," be sure, Jesus will not be happy if a Christian kills some other opposite; he will be very sad. Or do you think Kṛṣṇa will be happy? "Oh, thank you, you killed so many Christians." No, this duality is only and only in humans' mind, and this mind wants to have power; they want to know how many sheep I have in my yard. This is ego, the power.
