Today is a very significant day for all of us: Easter Sunday. We have been following the last three days—Good Friday, Saturday, and today, Sunday. As I mentioned in recent days, millions of people around the world are praying and thinking of God. They express their love and devotion, meaning the entire planet is covered with spiritual waves and spiritual thought, especially during this Easter period. We have also had our own programs, meditations, mantra initiations, and so on. We are fortunate and blessed to have spent this weekend in such deep and divine contemplation. If this organized weekend were not here, many of you know where you might have been—perhaps at the beach or elsewhere—unaware of the divine will, the divine message, and divine consciousness. God is one, the almighty Parameśvara. It does not matter which name you use; there is only one God. That God has no form, but from time to time, He manifests according to the needs of the planet's situation. Thus, there are 24 incarnations, and the 24th is the Kālī Avatāra, which is to come in this Kali Yuga. Besides these 24 Viṣṇu incarnations, there have been many other incarnations, such as Jesus and many other holy messengers. They did not declare themselves as God but said they were messengers of God or the son of God. Similarly, like all of you, we are messengers of God. We are the sons and daughters of God. There is only one creator who has created this entire creation. Therefore, that one is in all, and all are in that one. This must be understood. There should be no duality or discrimination among religions, cultures, or nations. Spirituality means purity: pure thoughts and physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual purity. Only then will we be able to realize what God is. Theory will not help; tons of theories are nothing compared to a gram of practice. Practice means to remove duality, as Ādi Guru Bhagavān Śaṅkarācārya said. He brought the message of Advaita, which means non-dualism. Eko brahma dvitīya nāsti: there is one reality, and where there is two, it is not reality. The reality is that which never changes, which is everlasting. Non-reality is that which is constantly changing. Forms, emotions, thoughts, and ideas are changing, but reality never changes. No religion, culture, philosophy, or politics can change reality. Reality will always be reality. Yes, there is realization; there is God, and there are such people about whom we speak. Nothing has changed in this world. It is the same moon, the same sun, the same planets, and the same Mother Earth. Everything is there; all five elements are there. Nothing has changed. What has changed is the attitude of humans, and due to this attitude, human life has become more miserable and difficult. That is why we say no one is to blame; it is our own mistake. Mahāprabhujī said, "Do not go against nature; otherwise, nature will take its revenge." Now we see that revenge is already here. We have destroyed the beautiful environment, and we continue to destroy it day by day. If we speak about the environment, it is horrible. Similarly, we not only destroy the external environment but also the eternal and inner environment within human consciousness. That is why humans are confused, lost, unhappy, and suffering. The most suffering creature on this planet is the human, and it is their own mistake. Yet, God is very merciful, and His mercy is for all creatures, not only for humans. When humans think God is only for them, it is a great mistake. Humans have no right to torture or kill any creature. If you cannot give life to someone, you have no right to take the life of others. It is the divine creation of that merciful Lord, coming from the divine will. We must understand that He resides in every heart. It does not matter what kind of creature it is; out of 8.4 million different creatures, all are the same. The light of God is not only in humans but in everyone, everywhere. Each and every entity wants to live happily and to have love. They do not want to suffer, and no one wants to die. But humans have something more: intellect. Due to this intellect, this buddhi, the human is known as a developed creature. However, if a human develops their intellect in the wrong direction, they become a destroyer. Therefore, the most dangerous animal on this planet is the human. The most destructive creature in this world is the human, who has destroyed and continues to destroy our beautiful planet. Thus, the message of holy and divine persons is to lead a life very simply, to be happy, and to love all—with tolerance, respect, and understanding. Mahatma Gandhi said, "Mother Earth has enough for everyone's need, but not for their greed." Humans have become greedy, and that is why we have come so far in this destruction. But at the same time, he said it is possible to change. It is possible to return to balance. And he said, "Do not wait for others. Be the change you want to see." So, be the change you want to see. If you want to see a beautiful planet and a beautiful environment, then change thyself; take a step toward that. Peace begins from one's own heart. There is no way to peace; peace itself is the way. These are the wise thoughts of wise persons like Mahatma Gandhi and others. The great saint Tulsidās wrote in the Holy Rāmāyaṇa: Kali Yuga keval nām ādhāra, sumira sumira nara hoi bhava pāra. In this Kali Yuga, it is based on the name of God, the mantra. Repeat and repeat and repeat the name of God. You will cross this ocean—the ocean of māyā, the ocean of illusion, the ocean of ignorance. Therefore, theory will not help you; practice will.
