The last words of Holy Guruji

The final teaching is to cease unnecessary worry and accept what will be.

One who receives the Guru's blessing becomes a Guru. Realizing this truth confirms it. Just as salt cannot become sugar, each being has an inherent nature. Therefore, do not fear. What is destined will occur regardless. A story illustrates this: a train carrying Mahatma Gandhi split in the mountains. As his carriage rolled backward, his secretary panicked about dying. Gandhi instructed him to write and utilize the present moment instead. Suffering in anticipation is a waste of time; one should engage in worthwhile action now. Thus, the instruction is to not worry.

"Utilize the time now. So what will happen, will happen."

"Your true pride, don’t worry, don’t worry, don’t worry... don’t worry."

These were the last words of Gurujī in this world. The one who takes blessings from the Guru becomes a Guru. Whoever realizes they are a Guru, he or she becomes a Guru. Salt cannot become sugar, and sugar cannot become salt. Therefore, don’t be scared about anything. What will happen will happen, even if you are scared. There is a nice story about Mahātmā Gandhījī. Gandhiji was traveling by train to eastern India, and the train was going into the mountains. Gandhījī always had with him a person who would write everything down, whether Gandhījī was dictating or writing himself. What happened was that two wagons separated from the locomotive. Half of the train was going forward, and the other half of the wagons began going backward down the mountain. Gandhijī said to his secretary, "Okay, take the book, and we shall write something." The secretary said, "But you know, Gandhījī, we are going to die. You don’t know what will happen." Gandhījī replied that we will see afterwards. Why should we lose the time? We should write. Utilize the time now. So what will happen, will happen. If we are just sitting here, holding onto the train and saying, "Oh, we will die, we will die," that is a loss of time. You are suffering unnecessarily. You are suffering ahead of time already. If we get caught in the train and we scream, "Oh, we will die, we will die," what is the point of this? We can do something good with it. Therefore, Gurujī said, "Your true pride, don’t worry, don’t worry, don’t worry... don’t worry."
