The same wind which fans up the live coals can blow out the candle flame
The inner flame of spirituality must be protected from the storms of life. Life in the world brings both good and bad situations, which is the nature of saṃsāra. You hold a divine flame or a full pot you must carry through storms and turbulent waves without letting it extinguish or spill. You have experienced many turbulences and carry unhealed wounds in your heart, which brought you here for the healing remedy of the Guru's wisdom. You are now the one going through the storm holding this flame. A single negative thought can extinguish it. Everyone helps the strong, but no one helps the weak. The same wind that fans a spark into a forest fire will blow out a small flame. Your negative thoughts, criticism, and anger are those winds. One thought can extinguish the light and plunge you back into darkness. Therefore, you must protect the inner light. It is easy to blame others but not easy to carry this flame forward through challenges.
"One negative thought, and the flame is gone."
"Everyone is helping the strong one... No one is the helper of the meek one."
