India is a holy land where numerous incarnations of God have taken place. It still has much to offer the world. Perhaps the present situation in India is not ideal, but a country should not be judged by a single, brief period. The modern way of thinking prevails now. People are chasing materialistic lives and are beginning to neglect the ancient spirituality and heritage left by their ancestors. You see the result: they are not happy, even in India. Yet, wisdom is not the property of one nation. Hungary, for instance, has given birth to many scientists and Nobel laureates, among whom Szeged is very well known. But this knowledge does not belong to any single country; it belongs to the entire globe. Therefore, in Hinduism, it is said in scriptures thousands of years old: "Vasudeva Kuṭumbakam." The whole world is one family—the one family of one God. There cannot be two gods. There is only one God. It is that one creator who has fashioned all creatures on this planet. It is only that one God, that divine consciousness, which designed this beautiful world. It is that one divine consciousness, or God, which created the many different colors and colorful flowers. Every leaf on every tree has a different design. Every living entity has a distinct form; no one can be compared to another. There are humans, animals, birds, fish, insects—countless beings. Every creature is unique. And such a beautiful human body—only that divine creator, that heavenly architect, could produce it in nine months. Thus, it is said there is unity in diversity. We all belong to that one God alone, and that God incarnates from time to time in different forms and different places. This is reality; this is the ultimate truth. If humanity would equally accept this, there would be no problems.
