Nothing happens without your physical presence. For any event to occur, there must be two elements. You cannot make a sound with one hand alone; you need two hands to create a clap. Therefore, you are not solely responsible; the other party shares in the responsibility as well. Situations arise, whether you are aware of them or not, that are indirectly related to you. We are often unaware of this, yet something can occur that places you in a critical position. You may wish to extricate yourself, but certain forces prevent your escape. In such cases, you must wait, work positively towards resolution, believe that it will improve, and pray for that outcome. You must also surrender to and purify yourself of your own past mistakes. Now, situations vary greatly. There are emotional, intellectual, political, social, financial, and family situations. There are many different aspects, and how we should act depends entirely on the field in question. For those situations you cannot escape from—where you wish to be free and confess your need for help—you will find the assistance required to emerge. In such cases, you must seek careful advice and guidance. In spiritual matters, you go to the master. In family matters, you turn to your father, mother, husband, wife, or children. For financial matters, you must work to earn money again. In a political situation, you must find someone who can help within that political field. We must seek out and find persons who are experts in that particular area of life to help us. And of course, we must always pray to God for forgiveness.
