Shakti Peetha
The new year begins with the establishment of the Divine Śakti. The calendar changes with the new moon of Chaitra, marking Śakti Pīṭha Sthāpanā. Śakti is the unifying power in every atom, from engines to electricity. One must know how to handle this power. Our lineage is the Siddha Pīṭha, a spiritual paramparā connected to Himalayan masters like Śrī Devpurījī, through whom great siddhis were manifested. To be in this lineage is to stay in the Gaṅgā; to leave it is to become like sewer water. Establish a seat for the Divine Mother with a picture and an eternal lamp of oil or ghee, not candles, which are impure. Fast for nine days with only liquids. The Divine Mother for us is Śrī Chandanadevījī, the mother of a great soul. You must enter the Gaṅgā to become the Gaṅgā.
"Yā Devī Sarvabhūteṣu Śraddhārūpeṇa Saṃsthitā Namaḥ Tasyai Namaḥ Tasyai Namaḥ Tasyai Namo Namaḥ."
"Kapata kī bhakti prabhu nahi māne; sāche rāche madana-gopāla."
