What is the reality?

The present determines the future. Do not dwell on the past. Your future is shaped by your present actions and thoughts. Destiny is created by your own karma. You are your own liberator through your conduct. Heaven is not a physical place to be imagined but a state realized. Reality is that which does not change, unlike this mortal world. Positive energy and vibration guide you toward the divine. Ancient teachings urge a movement from darkness to light and from unreality to reality.

"Past is past."

"Lead us from the darkness to the light."

Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Mahāprabhujī said, "Do not waste your time knowing the past. The past is past, and therefore in Yoga, and in almost every religion, there is no talk or explanation about the past." They are preaching about the past. So Mahāprabhujī said, "Past is past." Presence is here, so you should be aware of your presence in time and know what you are doing. The future is not here, but your future will be like the present now. If you are angry, you will have an angry future. If you are cruel, you will have a cruel future. So, the door of heaven is not easy to find. And if you find the door, it is not easy to enter. It is said, "Come and knock on the door, and the door will open." And your question will be answered. And you will be welcomed. Let us hope for the best. Therefore, anything that you do and think will influence your future. The great saint Tulsīdās said, "Pralabdha pehle rachā," the first is created destiny. "Phir śarīra sarīra," then the body is given. Like a bird makes the nest first and then lays the egg. So your nest is your pralabdha. According to your pralabdha, you will get a kind of nest. Parents can give us birth, but not the destiny. The pralabdha, or the destiny, is a production of our karma, action. Do good, get good. Do bad, and bad. So you are your liberator. You are your guide, and you will be free only through your behavior, your actions, and your thoughts. And you will be free only through your actions and thoughts. Who has seen heaven? Or who has seen Vaikuṇṭha? We call it Vaikuntha. Have you seen someone? How many square kilometers? What kind of trees are there? What is there? Are there some houses? Or should we take a tent with us? Will we have a tent there? What will we eat? There is no eating. No hunger. It is boring. There is no jealousy, and there is no old days. All are young and beautiful, and still no jealousy. So, these are the thoughts of the people who would always like to be young. So, it is the human mind which imagines what could be the best. And that is their fantasy, which has no beginning and no end. So we put this in. You will never find. In India, we say, "Without death, you cannot see heaven." Without dying, you cannot see heaven. So I said, "If I will not see heaven, then what will I do?" Can I come back and complain? No chance. So what is the reality? It is a very hard thing. And we know there is something, but that something is like nothing. But they say there is not nothing. In nothing, there is something. So perhaps in nothing, something is myself. Therefore, the mystery of life throughout the entire universe and the mystery of the individual self moving, and when it remains somewhere for a while, then it begins to create the relations. Water is flowing, it is clean. Remains state, blood. Begins to create the algs and the reptilians. Therefore, it is very hard to know and explain. Because that thing which you cannot explain is the same as that which you cannot explain. So they put one name for that: indescribable. Oh, I would like to see that. How does indescribable look? Everlasting. So how do you know everlasting when you cannot describe it? Immortal. So this only can be realized, experienced, sometimes. So mantra is that resonance, like a wind takes the boat in a particular direction, a ferry in a particular direction. You are sailing on the ocean, and the wind which will take your boat in that direction. It is like when you are sailing on a sailboat on the ocean and you do not know which direction the wind will blow you. So, if there is positive energy and positive vibration in definitely it will take you to the Divine Destination. And the Divine Energy definitely influences or affects our body also. Our body, our mind, our emotion, our intellect, our body, mind, intellect, emotion. Wherever you take light, the light is lighting everything. Therefore, an ancient śāstra said, "O man, you are the light in darkness." You are the light in darkness. Lord, lead us from the darkness to the light. There is no name given to God’s name. In the Vedas, the Upanishads, wherever they mention the name of God, Ali, Īśvara, Parameśvara, or Paramātmā, but no name, because that is a nirguṇa, formless, saguṇa that is the embodiment of God. But in the Vedas, in the Upanishads, in Vedic Dharma, Hindu Dharma, they said only one God. Vedama, Upaniṣadama: samo jedan Bog. A to je Īśvara. So it is all coming finally together. So it is said in old scriptures, which are thousands and thousands of years old: "Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya." Lead us from the darkness to the light. "Asato mā satgamaya," from unreality to the reality. What is changing is not reality, and what is not changing is reality. And what does not change is the reality. Therefore, this mortal world is changeable, changing constantly. Therefore, it is not that reality, and reality is that which will never change. Seasons changing, weather changing, earth changing, even said the sun and moon are not a reality. In the Vedas, it is very clearly written, the age of the sun. And the beginning and the end. And many explosions in the universe. Read the Vedas. When you read the Vedas, you will see that modern science, what brought everything, is the knowledge from the Vedas. So that is it. So that light, "Asato mā sad gamaya," leads us from unreality to reality. Put us from reality to reality. We are tired from dying and being born. We are tired from creating relations and breaking relations. Lead us from mortality to immortality. Therefore, Mahāprabhujī said, "Lokālaj sab tajak dhar ke, vairāgan besudhār ke vair."
