Nothing is too late

Life's purpose is fulfilled through its completion. Different mantras influence all life, learned through language, especially your mother tongue, which can become a language of love. Nothing is too late; begin from where you are. Doing one thing properly masters everything, while trying to do everything loses everything. Adhere to your practices and seek your family's patron deity, discovering it anew if unknown, to establish a new foundation. This ensures the safety, beauty, and success of your human mission. A mantra is not mere repetition; let your life itself be the worship.

"By doing one thing properly, everything can be mastered. If you try to do everything at once, you will lose everything."

"My life, your worship—my life is a ceremony to Thee, O Lord."

Finally, the 16th saṃskāra is known as the funeral rite, the Antyeṣṭi. This signifies that your life’s mission within nature and your duties on this planet are completed. The purpose of your existence in this world, in this life, is fulfilled. It is scientifically observed and experienced that different mantras exert different influences on the lives of persons, animals, and nature. We learn these mantras through human language. Every language is a beautiful language, especially your mother tongue. It touches your heart and your inner self—the poetry, the words, the tales. That language can become a language of love, spoken from your very tongue. Now, what is to be done? Should we be born again to receive this? To start over from the beginning? You may think, "Swamiji, it is not kind of you to tell us these things. Now you have created distinctions and a kind of sadness in my life. Why did I not have all this? Can I begin now to do something? I have no father now. Or should I write an 'OM' with honey on my tongue?" No. Nothing is too late. Begin from where you are. By doing one thing properly, everything can be mastered. If you try to do everything at once, you will lose everything. So, adhere to your guru mantra, to your meditation, and seek to discover who is the patron deity of your family, a tradition upheld for many centuries. If you do not know, find it anew. Accept it anew. If it is unknown to you, endeavor to discover a new one. Establish a new foundation for your life. As I have said, this is not merely a religion, nor is it only what we call spirituality. It is about the safety, beauty, and way of your life. It is to ensure you succeed in completing your human mission on this planet. Therefore, a mantra is not merely taking one word and repeating it. As I often say, helping hands hold more value than merely folded hands in prayer. Let your life itself be the worship: "My life, your worship—my life is a ceremony to Thee, O Lord."
