Gurudev fulfills every wish

A spiritual discourse on the grace of the Guru and cultivating good thoughts.

"Whatever you wish in your mind, by the grace of Gurudev, nothing is impossible."

"Protect us from doing bad things or making mistakes, and protect us so that we can take care of this holy chair, the holy Siddha Pīṭha of Śrī Alakhpurījī."

Swami Avatarpuri addresses a global gathering, expressing gratitude for birthday wishes and emphasizing the omnipotent grace of the Guru (Gurū Kṛpā). He shares anecdotes illustrating this grace, such as a last-minute change in weather for the satsang, and explains the supreme power of the eternal incarnation (Nityāvatāra). The talk stresses faith, following the Guru's word (Gurū Vākya), and the necessity of guarding one's intellect to foster rapid spiritual development and maintain good thoughts.

Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavānkī, Devī Svarmā Dev, Mādhav Kṛṣṇa Bhagavānkī, Syāvar Rāmachandra Bhagavānkī, Kṛṣṇa Kanayalālkī, Sanātan Dharmakī. Good evening, dear brothers and sisters, all devotees of Mahāprabhujī, here and around the world. It does not matter where you are; today we are one with our astral being through the waves of our thoughts. Often I say that on the full moon night, we shall all look at the full moon at the same time, and you will see our spiritual radiance going to the moon. Then I see it like an umbrella, and we all meet there. To tell the truth, to be physically together is much better than to be only mentally together. That is also beautiful, but it is very difficult. It is not easy to give satisfaction or contentment to our heart. Nevertheless, we are here, and thank you for your good wishes and congratulations for my birthday on the 15th of August. Gurudev Mahāprabhujī always fulfills our wishes. Govind Purī was saying something about Gurujī's love towards his devotees and especially towards me. But you know that my love for him was not only in every mantra and every breath of the heartbeat, but a complete oneness. Holy Gurujī said many times that whatever I wish will come true. Yes, now he said, and Mahāprabhujī has to work hard. How is it possible? It will be possible, but it is possible. In India, many things you think are impossible become possible. Mostly, when people are traveling from Jaipur to Delhi for the airport, there is a lot of traffic and traffic jams. They say, "Oh God, we will miss our airplane." They are near Delhi, 10 km or 5 km from the airport, and there is so much traffic that they are sure they will miss the plane. But finally, they are surprised to find themselves sitting in the plane already. So everything is due to Gurū Kṛpā. Well, exactly three days ago at this time, we were talking—me and Pārvatī—trying to organize a very big tent for today's satsaṅg and program. The biggest tent we could find was about 800 or 900 square meters, which is not enough for half of us or a quarter of us. Pārvatī said perhaps the weather will be good. So I said to Holy Gurujī, how nice it was when Holy Gurujī was here, and my birthday was here also, and Gurū Pūrṇimā was also here. So please make nice weather. The weather forecast was saying rain, that it will rain and be cold, that cold waves will come. The cold waves came till Brno and the Austrian border, and then it changed. Surprise—yesterday they said hot waves will come. And so today, at this time, we don't see anything in the sky except airplanes flying, and such nice weather. Jo ichā karhye anmānī, gurū kṛpā durlabhnī—whatever you wish in your mind, by the grace of Gurudev, nothing is impossible. What you wish, God will make true. Nothing is impossible for Mahāprabhujī. Nothing is impossible for God to do. Yesterday we spoke about Nitya Avatāra and Nimitta Avatāra. Nimitta Avatāra has limited possibilities to fulfill wishes, like Brahmā, for example, or Viṣṇu, or Śiva. When Bhaktas ask for immortality, they say, "Sorry, we cannot give you immortality. We can fulfill any other wish you say." But it is said that to make you immortal is in the hands of Gurudev; Nityāvatāra has this power. Therefore, it is said: if God has done something wrong, the saints can correct it, but if saints have done something wrong, God cannot correct it. That is the protocol between them, an understanding. An honī gurū kar sake, honī det mitāī, par brahma gurudev he, sab kus det banāī. An honī gurū kar sake—what is not possible, Gurudev can do. Or honī det mitāī—what is going to happen, Gurudev can remove it. Parabrahma Gurudev—He is Parabrahma; He can make everything. But we must have the faith. You know the story about Śrī Devpurījī. You have heard this story many times: the Kailāsh Āshram in Kailāsh and in the village of Kailāsh, and the neighboring village, which is not even one kilometer far, is called Dinkpur. There was a merchant, a businessman, and he did not have children and wished very much to have some children. They both, husband and wife, were above 50, nearly reaching 60. One day Devpurījī came, and Devpurījī said, "One chapati, one son; two chapatis, two sons." The lady who was making breakfast had already made three chapatis; she ran and gave all three chapatis to Devpurījī. He said, "Okay, so you will get three sons." And they got them. That son who was born with Devpurījī's blessings, and his children, are living in Jaipur. Always when they come, they tell me this story. Unhone gurū perse kī—what is not going to happen, it can happen when Gurujī wills it. So our benefit is that we follow Gurū Vākya. Rām and Kṛṣṇa are the ones who have been our success. Three people are the gods of all three worlds. Who is greater than God Rāma and Kṛṣṇa? They also had a Gurudev. Three people are the gods of all three worlds, Satgurū kyā dhin, but still they are surrendering to Gurudev and follow the Gurū Vākya; they follow what the Gurū says. We have to understand Gurū Tattva. We have to understand these divine elements, Gurū Tattva, in the universe—not a body. Do not think that he or she is also like us. We eat, we drink water; they drink also water. We sleep, we are ill. This is Prakṛti, and they are above the Prakṛtis. They are above the Prakṛtis. Brahmanandam Paramsukhadam Kevalam Jnanamurtim Dvandatitam Gagansadrasham—the Gurudeva is called the supreme bliss. Protect us from doing bad things or making mistakes, and protect us so that we can take care of this holy chair, the holy Siddha Pīṭha of Śrī Alakhpurījī. For this, I wish you all the best and the blessings of Gurudev, and that Gurudev helps you to come forward in your spirituality. As Jayaprakash said, we don't have to come again and again; perhaps we finish everything in this life, and then we will forever be in that divine consciousness. Even Kṛṣṇa or Rāma, or any incarnation—the holy land India has given so many incarnations and holy saints to the world that we can't even count how many there were. So, where is the holy? Everything is holy. So, we are in this āshram. It means we are this āshram; we are within this āshram. And so, everything is there, depending on your point of view, how you respect and accept it. This is it. Mahāprabhujī said, "The spoon, which remains all the time in pudding or in honey, cannot taste the sweetness of the honey." And so, people who have a lot of negative karma, overloaded with dust, cannot understand or see that divinity and holy place of that holy land, India—Bhārat, Ārya Vrata—it had so many different names in Vedic times. So, I wish you all the best, and thank you for your good wishes on my birthday. And now, all the best. Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān. Dear brothers and sisters around the world, I bless you: "Jehnám vám v tento božský den." It is the day when Lord God Kṛṣṇa incarnated. Kṛṣṇa means universal consciousness. Rāma means universal consciousness. And they are always here; they are with us, just as Mahāprabhujī is with us. Mahāprabhujī is also an incarnation of universal consciousness. In their name and in the name of all other holy saints or gods incarnated in different parts of the world, I pray to them to bless us and give us good thoughts. As Buddha said: good thoughts so that we do good things. And if we cannot do good things, at least we should not destroy good things through our behavior, gossiping, words, chatting, and so on. We should always pray to God to give us good intellect and good thoughts. Keep your intellect under control; that is all. There should be no infection; bugs should not enter. If your intellect is good, protected, well taken care of, and guarded by you, then it is sure that your spiritual development is rapid. But suddenly, doubt and jealousy arise again, and you fall down. You climb a thousand meters, and with a little doubt, you fall down again. Again, you have to try slowly, slowly to come back. How many times have we fallen down? Only we know. So, take care of this part of your body between the two ears. When this is in order, then here will be very, very good. It is always in order, but here is not. That is what Patañjali is constantly talking about: right thoughts, indriyas, and so on. So tomorrow, we will continue with Patañjali. Today was this festival here in India. Today was our Indian national day, Independence Day of India, and also, according to the Catholics, a very holy day—that Mother Mary ascended to heaven. When she goes, then someone has to come back; that's it. So perhaps she told me, "Boy, you go." Anyhow, I had to follow the mother. But mother said children must follow when mother says, and if children don't follow, then it's ... but sometimes, you know, mothers are too pushy. So, Dīp Nārāyaṇ Bhagavān. All the best, and God bless you. Thank you. Recording location: Czech Republic, Strilky, Summer seminar
