Accept your mistakes

Our ailment is seeing mistakes in others, not accepting our own. We fight and blame, like spouses over a lost key. Not accepting mistakes creates guilt, which breeds fear. Fear creates anger as protection, and anger creates discrepancy. Accepting mistakes frees one from guilt. Purifying the entire personality—physical, astral, mental, causal—calms the brain. This brings a profound joy, Ānanda, greater than the deep rest after exhausting travel. Entering meditation's kingdom brings a thousand times more joy. Meditation and mantra are the key.

The peculiarity of our ailment is that we see mistakes in others. When a father asks his children, "Who did this?" one says, "No, I was not here the other day." Then our brain will become calm; you will have such a feeling of joy, Ānanda, that which you never experienced. Perhaps you experienced it when you were sleeping very deep, or when you were very tired from traveling, sitting 26 hours, 36 hours in airplanes, finally coming home. You went to your bathroom, washed yourself, and lay down in your own bed. Oh God, you take a deep inhale and you sleep—it is indescribable. A thousand times more feelings of joy and happiness come if you can enter into the kingdom of meditation. So, meditation is the key to everything, and mantra. Thank you.
