The Precious Human Life
Human life is a precious opportunity for liberation or descent.
We are born with two paths: liberation or a gradual fall through repeated lives due to karma. Your liberation depends solely on you, not on any master or external answer. The most terrible human tragedy is to die without self-realization. Do not waste time. Your actions, or karma, are primary. The mystery of a divine consciousness exists, and we are part of it. Love, as harmony and clarity without fear, unites us and develops cosmic qualities to become one with that consciousness. What divides us is individual karma and qualities like anger and jealousy. Change these qualities to evolve from human to holy to God-man. Maintain health through nourishment, movement, and environment to support a long life for practice. Prayer, meditation, and service unite you with God. These practices are in your interest alone; God does not need them. We need God, and thus we must perform the practices that maintain that relationship.
"The life of the bird... depends on your hands. And therefore, whether you are liberated or not does not depend on anyone."
"We need God, not that God needs us. If you do not believe in God, God loses nothing."
