The Responsibility of Peace Begins Within
Peace is our responsibility, beginning within ourselves. We must not be caught by the energy of conflict from media or institutions, which often seek power and fail to create peace. Never give up the ideal. Peace develops when we give up selfishness and consider others as dear, turning from egoistic lives that cause fights. We must awaken our hearts to cherish peace for all children and future generations. Do not wait for peace to be established by others; it starts from a smile or a gentle handshake. It is not only for tomorrow. People with material wealth often lack happiness, which is found in inner peace. Achieving this inner unification allows us to achieve unification around us in a divided world. Now is the time to bring all faiths and people together. Peace starts from where we are and who we are. Whatever our profession, we all can develop peace around us. Live in peace and never give up.
"Be the change you want to see."
"Never give up."
