Swāmījī, dear brothers and sisters around the world, in the name of all yoga sisters and brothers, I wish you a happy, happy birthday, a beautiful life, and much happiness with all your bhaktas. We are fortunate here that we can be with you, Swāmījī. We had a wonderful meeting yesterday with Śrī Devpurījī, but not only with Śrī Devpurījī, with the whole Śrī Alakpurījī, Oṁ Śrī Alakpurījī Siddha Pīṭ Paramparā. And Swamiji is the one who has the big opportunity, the big challenge to bring the knowledge of Śiva in the whole world. He is inspired through Alakpurījī, who is directly the disciple, śiṣya, of Śiva. And all of them, all masters, are still here. When I come from a place like Kailash yesterday, where Śrī Devpurījī is there, I feel so strong their presence. Anytime you come in presence with the Sun, you feel the light and you feel the knowledge. This light penetrates everything; it destroys every darkness, and that is what the Guru is. In His presence, the darkness is destroyed. Salutation to the Cosmic Light, the Lord of our hearts, Omniscient and Omnipresent. In His Divine Presence, very nice good evening, dear brothers and sisters. This Divine Blessing is coming to you from the Holy Land of India, Vishwagurudeep Āśram, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Bhārat. Dear brothers and sisters, the practitioners of yoga in their life, spiritual parents, spiritual seekers, and also the followers of the different spiritual paths and practices of different yoga techniques, I wish you are having a beautiful day and a beautiful evening. After a long time, I am again with you through the webcast, and you are fortunate enough to have the darśana of our āśrama and our dear brothers and sisters of India. It happens to be today, so-called, the birthday of this body—this embodiment of these pañca tattva, five elements—which captured from the countless souls one of my souls to come to this planet and to surrender my service for the well-being of the entire planet. It is said, "If you live, then live for humans?" I do not accept this. This is a wrong slogan. Jīna hai to prāṇī mātra ke liye jīyo. Therefore, if you live, then live for entire creatures. Each and every entity is myself. Sabhī prāṇī merī ātmā hai. And ātmā so paramātmā. Myself, the ātmā, is the supreme one. Therefore, there is no duality, either human or animal. Second, mostly people are saying "humanitarian, humanitarian." The service to humanity is a greater service, which I do not accept. I reject this very much, and I regret this very much. That, in the last few centuries, human beings began to speak a wrong slogan: "The service to the human is a greater service," which is completely wrong discrimination in yoga, in Vedānta, in spirituality, in religion. In the presence of God, there is no discrimination. Discrimination is not allowed. Only one: that we live for all, and service to all is the service to God. Therefore, it doesn't matter. The soul will find its way again on this planet among 8.4 million different creatures, divided into three categories: Jalchar, Thalchar, and Nabchar. First, our destiny is created. Then, according to the destiny, a decision is made on which kind or which form of life you will get. What is the destiny? Destiny is the fruits of your actions, your karma. Where there is action, there will be a reaction, and where there is a reaction, there will be action. But as Dr. Pushpajī said, among this, we are fortunate that we got the human body. For what? Not for killing, not for destroying, not for discrimination, but for one thing: to be a protector, to serve, to help, to love. For the animals, it is said, "jīva jīva bhakṣate," life will eat life. But there was a great question, a big question and problem: how to come out? Then, there is one chance, that is a human. And for humans, there is no provision to eat other creatures; it is sāttvika āhāra. Therefore, animals, love them, feed them, but don't eat them. That is a great message of the great saints of India to the whole world. That's why India is known as a holy country where millions of great saints incarnated, and 24 or more incarnations took place on this soil. If you call it a holy country, then you have a right to say India is a holy country. Unfortunately, the present situation in India is not acceptable. Unfortunately, the constitution of India, which brought a circular country, is misunderstood, and mostly this original culture, original tradition, and original religion are suppressed and neglected. The result will be very bad. India is now a country which gave birth to spirituality and religion, where now religion is suppressed. Once upon a time, Hiraṇyakaśipu was there, and like this, religion was suppressed. No religion was supported, and that situation is now here, which I do not accept. But the time will come when many constitutions are changed. It will change. Satyaṁ eva jayate. The truth will have victory. India gave to the whole world great cultures. India gave the whole world great spirituality, yoga, and wisdom. Nothing can be compared with Indian culture, tradition, literature, poetry, art, knowledge, whatever you call it. That's why it's called Atulya Bhārat, Incredible India. Why do they say this? Even Indian dance, you know. But I'm not talking about Bollywood; Bharat Nityam dance, and their many. It is not a dance; that is a language. That is a devotion in you. But the modern dances are like this—something like snakes are hanging here, scorpions. That's not India, what you see in the television. What you see in the modern television, videos, films, that is not India. Don't judge India according to these films. Anyhow, dear brothers and sisters. It happened to be today the birthday, and I am here in Jaipur ashram. I want to tell you three things. Different in culture, but without discrimination. I'm changing, only saying different. Can I have this thālī, pūjā thālī? Thank you. Yes. On the birthday pūjā, we will light this flame. Is that right? Also, in Western countries, in Islam, I don't know. But in Christianity and European culture, they will also light a candle or a flame. Is there similarity? But what does this flame mean? Jīvan Jyoti. This is the flame of your life. And this flame should not go off. It should burn a long, long time. Means live long. In Western culture, after saying happy birthday, I will not do that. What I want to show you, and then you make, you killed your life. Oh, that you should not do. Therefore, everywhere around the world, dear brothers and sisters, on the birthday, you may have five candles, ten candles, 50 candles, 70, 80, 90—how old you are—let this light become an eternal light, and it should not be blown off. Second, in this bowl, katorī, there is a spoon, and inside is called khīr. What is that? A pure cow's milk and pure rice. The rice is one of the ancient grains on this planet, and the rice has that strength of life, and milk is the first food for a child. When the rice and milk come together, they create in you ojasakti, also the memory, and also create strength in the body. Therefore, for every holy occasion, this nice kheer was cooked and then offered. Now, the modern culture makes the cake. What kind of strength do you have in the cake, except the sugar and some fat and eggs? Eggs are one of the things which are very quickly spoiled, and all this, whatever in the congestion of the egg nutrition, is not acceptable for the human body. If you are a doctor and carefully read and study the eggs, then you will not advise anyone to eat eggs or anything containing eggs. Paramahaṁsa Yogānanda was a great yogī who lived in Los Angeles. He said, "If you eat one egg, for 15 days you cannot meditate." Yes, you can sit down and close your eyes, but there is no meditation. Therefore, cake is neither healthy nor very nutritious, and it is also only a sugar taste. Try to do kheer once, and then test what you will see. Test of the kheer, strength, and this is very scientific, very ancient. Therefore, we made a kheer. So two things: no cake, but rice, milk, cooked a long time together, a little saffron inside, a little cardamom, and then a little rose water. Oh my God! The cake you can throw in the garbage. Oh, kheer, my, oh my God, that's it. This is the nectar from that cow milk. So, the flame should continuously burn, should become eternal. The milk and rice should give strength and become a nectar in our body. And another thing, we should not say, "I wish you more 20 years or 100 years." But we always say Dhīrghāyu. I was the vice president of India in his living room. And there was a beautiful picture of a great saint. I asked him, "Your Excellency, from where is this picture?" Then he explained, long story, I will not tell you. That picture was from the Mārthaṇḍa ṛṣi. Marthandaṛṣi had only seven years of life. But because Nārada and the other great saints said, "Teach the child to touch the feet of all to get blessing." When our children bow down and make a praṇām to us, automatically, it doesn't matter who we are—parents, neighbors, or strangers—we will say, "Bless you." Bless you, Chiranjīvo, Chiranjīvo. Long live, long live. Happy. And if he comes and says, "Good morning," then you say, "Hi, good morning." Where is the blessing? When you go to the school, make a praṇām to mother and father. Your mother will say, "My child, please be careful. Walk carefully. Look left and right when you cross the street. Come back healthy. I bless you, and I bless you that Mother Sarasvatī will be blessed upon you." But now, children said, "Mom, bye bye." She said, "Jaya, jaya, jaldi, Mom, Mom." Ho gaya, kus me kus rai nahi, that's it. Therefore, kya? Abhi toh koi pita ji toh kaiti nahi hai. Ek hota hai parmātmā, ek hota hai ātmā, fir hota hai jīvātmā. Aur jo śarīra mein ātā, mānav ke jīva mein bantā hai, toh acchā kām kare toh hai dharmātmā, aur khotā kām. Kere toh hai, Papa. Ātmā toh very clear picture. Your children are showing you, they are calling you "Papa." And "Papa" means that sinner who doesn't get a place in hell, that sinner is. Tell your children how they blackmail you in your brain. Paramahaṁsa Yogānandjī says, whatever you hear and whatever you speak, that brain sooner or later will come back to you and to the person where you are targeting, which is called modern psychology, blackmailing Pitā Śrī and Mātā Śrī, in the language of our country, which is the language of the Gods. It is said in that language: "Tvameva Mātā Ca Pitā Tvameva Bandho Ca Sakhā Tvameva Vidyā Draviṇam Tvameva Tvameva Sarvam Mama Deva Deva." You can't compare with the ancient wisdom in this modern world. But yoga and daily life are the ancient wisdom for the well-being of the modern world. That I am teaching. Thank you for your good wishes. Thank you for your coming. Bless you all, dear brothers and sisters.
