Forgive and do not suffer
Forgiveness is the path to end suffering caused by past hurt. The mind may wish to forgive, but the heart may refuse. Ask that refusing part what it wants to do instead, for any negative action creates more bad karma. The hurt happened because it was in your destiny; perhaps it was karmic revenge for a past action. If it was not, then by not forgiving you only create new karma and ensure your own constant suffering. The event itself is not terrible; suffering comes from a lack of understanding and an inflexible heart. You are not forced to suffer; you choose to by holding on. Therefore, forgive for your own benefit. Even holy beings must suffer their destined karma. Life is waves of happiness and unhappiness; the body's nature is to be born, grow, and die. This body is a house of disease and trouble, yet we are attached to it. Use this lifetime well.
"Whatever you will do against them, it's again gaining more bad karma."
"A person who cannot forgive, a person who is not flexible... this kind of person will be suffering all the time."
