I am very happy to be here in Novo Mesto, in this beautiful sports hall where everyone has their space. Many of you were at the evening lecture, and now we have this time for the subject of Kuṇḍalinī and Chakras, specifically the Maṇipūra Chakra. It is very important to practice, not only to listen. The name Maṇipūra itself expresses everything. Maṇi is jewel. Pura is the city or the place. It is the city of jewels. Jewels mean precious. And what is precious is richness. So what is the biggest richness? What makes you very rich? Not money, but maṇi pura. It means good health. The happiest and richest person is one who has good health. The first happiness, the first comfort, the first good thing in life is a healthy body. But we cannot realize a healthy body if we do not practice. I have said many times, tons of theory is nothing compared to a gram of practice. All of you who are here, mostly, you came for good health: mental health, physical health, social health, spiritual health. To be happy, to be relaxed, to have good sleep, not to be nervous, and so on. You read about yoga, or someone told you, "Why don't you practice yoga?" And you said, "Yes, I heard, but I don't know what yoga is." Then you went to the bookshop and you got a yoga book, Yoga in Daily Life: Harmony for Body, Mind and Soul. "Yes, that's what I want," and you came to yoga. While reading, you got all inspiration. It gave you very good motivation. But still, it didn't give you harmony for body, mind, and soul. And for this, you came to yoga practices. You liked it, and you felt much better. But after some time, you neglected your exercises, and again you lost harmony of body, mind, and soul. Many, many people who are sitting here don't practice every day, and you can see on their face who is not practicing. When you come out of your discipline, then many other qualities begin to grow in you. When you don't practice, then many negative qualities come back and put you out of harmony. A kind of conflict is created in you, which is against or opposite to the harmony: jealousy, greed, anger, laziness, and anxiety. These elements, which are developing in your body, mind, and consciousness, create an imbalance. And this imbalance you can see on the face. There are two persons sitting near each other, and I can see one who is practicing every day and one who is not. There is a completely different aura. The one who is practicing has got in the heart compassion, understanding, forgiveness, kindness, love, and understanding others' feelings. If you don't practice every day, then you don't have these feelings. So, the discipline is your inner master. That is the best master who will lead you 24 hours. Discipline is the key to success. Discipline is a one-way street, and discipline is a rising horizon. When you lose this discipline, it is the sun setting. Everyone prays to the rising sun. No one is praying to the sun setting, because very soon darkness will be there. When the sun is rising, the morning dawn begins. Very soon, the beautiful, bright day will be there. This is that: if you will practice, you will have the bright light of wisdom, harmony, and happiness in the body, mind, and soul. Many, you call the yoga teachers sitting here, or many other people, they are allergic to each other. I am always wondering, surprised, why it is like this. This means they don't follow Guruvākya, they don't understand, they don't practice. When negative elements begin to develop in your consciousness, then the positive is disappearing, and you lost the wisdom. You should know that especially that person needs more love, sympathy, understanding, and respect from your side: the person whom you don't like. The person whom you like, you need no effort to do. In the Ten Commandments, it is said, "Love your neighbor." People understand: like your parents, your wife, your children. But the next means all. Next to me, these flowers. This flower also needs love. This flower is so happy because it was so well taken care of, wrapped in nice paper, and given with love by the one who brought it to Paul, and then handed it over. The receiver who receives is appreciating and is happy. If you give me flowers and I take them and throw them like this, my God, I break your heart. That's like an explosion of the volcano. So, "love your neighbor" means everything. Every creature, every plant, every stone needs love. When this love awakes in you, then you are a holy saint. Now, if you are a holy saint or not, you should know. I don't need to declare you. Do you love flowers, stones, birds, animals, humans? You have no enemy. There is no one on this planet which you don't like. Even if someone gives you a slap on the cheek, you turn the other side, please, here also. But we forget here, only when you're doing like this, and, oh God, you become like a rock. Come here. Oh, my God. Why did you see the second cheek? Because this cheek will be swollen, and this will not. So the proportion of the face will not be equal. Therefore, whether you practice or not, you know. If you are really doing it or not, this you should know. Never say that you don't have time. We always find time for what we like to do. An alcoholic person, it doesn't matter how busy he or she is, will find time to drink. So practice makes perfect. So Maṇipūra Chakra is that center from where you can win immense treasures. It is a mine of jewels, diamonds. That means good health, purification of the consciousness, purifying the karma, balancing your body, mind, and intellect. You know many things about Maṇipūra Cakra, you read your book, Hidden Powers in Humans. You have it in your language, and you should read it again and again, and then follow the teachings. Also, the book Yoga in Daily Life, which you have in your language, read and practice accordingly. As simple as that, which is much better. As difficult, one is always connected with dangers. In yoga, there shouldn't be any competition or challenges. Because when you give a challenge to someone, or a competition, it means you would like to be the best one and push others down. That is not yoga. So Maṇipūra is the center of the jewels. So-called followers of the Buddha have one common mantra: Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ. So maṇi is the jewel. Padam is the feet of the Master, the Holy Feet. It's called lotus feet. Oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, and hūṃ means adore, bow down. So this maṇi and the lotus feet of the Master are the jewels of the wisdom, the jewels of the blessing, the spirituality. So after your good health, the second richness is your contentment. If you are not content, you are the beggar. You are the slave of your senses, and which kind of sense doesn't matter: the slave of eating, slave of drinking, slave of looking. Some people put on the television and look and look... They are sleeping and looking, and it is four o'clock. Then quickly sleeping and getting up at seven o'clock is very tiring. So there are different habits, and Gurujī said habit is the second nature of that person. Which habit you develop, that will become your nature. Nature is very difficult to change because that takes over your willpower. Therefore, if you are a slave of your habits, your senses, or depending on someone, that is also slavery. It doesn't matter if you are depending materially, emotionally, socially, politically. It is said, the slave is not happy even in dream. Because you are depending, you are not free. We are not free from the karmas. We are not free from rebirth and death. That's why we should do some spiritual practices to get self-realization and not be dependent. We are depending on one thing, that is our nourishment: eating and drinking. Without this, we can't survive. People think that disciples are dependent on the Master. That's a completely wrong conception. The Master is trying day and night to make you free, even leading you to liberation. If you are coming to the Master that you are depending on, and you must, then it's not good. There are two kinds of love. One kind of love comes from itself. You need not to tell. The second is that you tell someone, "Can you love me?" So the love between disciple and master is not that love for which you have to beg. It is that love which is there already. A child doesn't need to tell the mother or father, "Do you love me?" When the mother is feeding her child, breastfeeding, and if this small baby asks the mother, "Can I drink? Do you love me, Mommy?" My God, the heart of the mother will break. Love between mother and child is indescribable, and the same love between master and disciple is indescribable. Every child has equal access to the mother, parents. Similarly, every disciple has equal access to the Master. Does the Master make differences? Then it's not real love. Therefore, the second happiness is freedom. Freedom is there when you are content; you are not a slave of your senses, your mind, or anyone. Many times, people come for consultation. Sorry, ladies. Many ladies come and tell me, "I hate my husband." Boys, don't worry, none of your wives have told me this. Or, "I hate my boyfriend." So I say, "Then why don't you go away?" "Because I depend on his money." But you are also working. "Yes, I don't earn so much." How much do you need? "I need 2,000 euros only for my makeup. And 1,000 euros, I'm going to beauty salons. And I like to go to restaurants and to the opera. And I like to go on holidays. And I like to drive in my big car with my boyfriend." Did you marry his money, or did you marry him? Then it's not love. That man will not be happy one day with you, and you will not be happy. That kind of love is not a fair love. Better to quit all your makeup than to be a slave of your makeup. So make up your mind to practice every day, that you will not need any kind of makeup materials. If you need red cheeks, then be angry with your boyfriend, and the next day you will have nice red cheeks. You see, I don't have red cheeks, but I think I look good. I have no makeup material on my skin. Śīrṣāsana, head standing. Sarvāṅgāsana, shoulder standing. Sarsankasana, rabbit. All these postures, bending forward, where the better circulation towards the face will make your skin very beautiful. And all of you will have a beautiful beard like me. Practice Śaṅkha Prakṣālana that will support your Maṇipūra Chakra to function freely. Agnisāra Kriyā, Nauli Kriyā, Śaṅkha Prakṣālana, this will improve your skin. Your skin will be very, very soft and very nice, what you call baby skin. Or use the neem powder or neem soap. So, the second happiness is not to be dependent. The third happiness is devotion, the love for the Supreme. Anyone can disappoint us sooner or later. We will be disappointed if not, then by the death. That partner left you, the partner died. But God will never disappoint us. Everlasting love is that love, which we call God's love. Those who have this love, bhakti, the devotion, are the happiest persons. But without fanaticism; fanatical love is not healthy. Love without conditions, love God without conditions. There is only one God, to whom we all pray; it doesn't matter which religion you believe. There is one truth and only one love. So the Maṇipūra Chakra will awaken this consciousness within you. It's called awakening of the spiritual consciousness. When the kuṇḍalinī is awakening, the śakti, the consciousness, is rising up and goes through the fire center. Through the fire, and fire, its principle is to purify everything. Everything. Fire does not make any differences. If fire will make differences, then fire will lose its principle. In your chimney, if you put newspaper and then you also put some kind of towels, fire will not tell you, "Take care, take care, it's money." Fire will not say this. Even if it's dry wood or wet wood, a living being or a dead body, anything that comes into the fire is burned to ashes. So all karma is burned to ashes. You come out like a crystal-clear consciousness. That enters into the heart. Then your heart is so happy, so divine, that only devotion, only God's love. The fourth happiness, which awakes through our Maṇipūra Chakra, is that wisdom. The knowledge, yes. I know what is God. I know what is Gurudev. I know what is Guru Vākya. That love, you cannot compare with anything. The sun, you can't compare with anything. You can't replace with anything the sun. Take the candle, flame, or a matchstick, light it, and show it to the sun: "I also have a light." The sun will smile. So we are this little matchstick, our knowledge, our capacity, our love. We are limited, just like a little matchstick, the flame of the matchstick. And Divine Love, the God, is the Sun. Nothing will reach the Sun. What has to be burned will burn. What has to be melted will melt. What has to disappear will disappear. Only the cleanest, pure consciousness comes there. So, without this awakening of the Maṇipūra cakra, this wisdom, this knowledge, your doubts, your fear, anxiety, complexes, and jealousy will not disappear, because you took them from the Svādhiṣṭhāna Cakra. You have a chance to awaken. Then you will experience, one after another, the beauty of your inner talents. Within you is the fountain of joy. Within you is the ocean of bliss. Within you is the immortal one. Kill this little "I", this little ego. Lead a divine life, said a great saint, Swami Śivānandajī of Ṛṣikeśa. Kill this little ego. "I don't like this person. I don't like that person. I can't work with the young. Oh God, I try, but I can't." You never tried. Who doesn't? You don't like the person. Go and clean the feet of the person. Go down, surrender. You have to die to live. It is said in the Bible, you have to die in order to live. Your ego must die. You have to die to live. Means kill your ego. Your greatest enemy and the thief who steals all jewels of your maṇipūra is the ego. It is your ego which tells, "I don't like this person, I don't like this person, I don't like this person. Why is he sitting near the Swamiji? Why is she always bringing water for Swamiji? God, I don't like this person." Are you a practitioner of yoga in daily life? No, that's it. When these negative elements will disappear from your entire being, then you will have pure consciousness, then you will have spiritual consciousness, then is the awakening of the spiritual consciousness, constantly, crystal clear. You can use it for everything. That is the biggest happiness, and the seventh happiness is that you will have so many good friends. You become one united family, like we are all one united family. It's such a big spiritual family, and when I see you, I'm so happy. When you see all of us here, you are so happy. This happiness you cannot buy. This happiness you have to awaken. You have to look into your inner mirror to see how happy you are. Therefore, we always sing. You have to see your Gurudev in everyone. This is a darśan where the spiritual waves, the energy, are there. Then negative energy disappears. There is no black magic which can influence you. Spiritual energy for you becomes a protective power, what we call a bulletproof jacket. Negative magic power comes to attack you, and what happens with that negative energy or that person? Like a bird trying to fly through a glass window, or a fly trying to fly through a glass window. Your brain, your energy is so strong, so when somebody crushes your brain, the sound is like this. It can't go through. So when the spiritual energy is awakened and when you are with spiritual people, then for many months, days, weeks, months, even years, you are protected by this spiritual energy. No negative energy can attack you. But that can come only when pure consciousness is there. Those who are in doubt and jealous, and he doesn't like her and she doesn't like him, these people are not protected from this energy. In order to gain this protection, you have to love all of them. Of course, love means not to go and hug and put your thumb, put your finger here, put your finger there. This is not there. That's it. This energy is protective energy. That's called Ābhāmaṇḍalam, the auras. This is the darśan, divine darśan. Arjuna asked Krishna, "Krishna, still I can't believe that you are God. You are saying many things, that you are this and you are that and you are that, but I still can't see you." Krishna said, "If I will show you my universal form, perhaps you will not resist it." "No, Lord, please. I want to see." Then Krishna shows within himself the entire universe: also, volcanoes, hurricanes, fire, and so on. But only Arjuna could see. The people who were standing near couldn't see anything. They thought that Arjuna was in a trance. They thought Arjuna had hallucinations. So only rare bhaktas can see this Ābhāmaṇḍal, whose Maṇipūra cakra is in order, whose heart is pure, and consciousness is crystal clear. One disciple told the Master, "Master, I want to go to a fair, a big fair, like a Melā, we call it." The master said, "Why, what will you do there?" He said, "I will see many good people and this and that." He said, "You will not see so many good people." And he said, "But I want to go." Then the master gave him one feather of the peacock, a colorful feather. "When you see many, many people, then look through this feather. You will see the reality of these people. And then go there where you see human." He said, "Master, but it's a fair of the humans, not a fair of the animals." Master said, "You will see." So when he came where there were thousands of the people, and he looked through the feather, and he sees there's some pig sitting, some fox is sitting, some rabbit is sitting, some deer is sitting, some crow, many crows are fighting. After looking far, oh, there are two people. And these two people were like you. He went to these two people, and they said, "Oh, dear brother, how are you? Come and sit with us. Are you tired? From where are you coming? How nice to see you." All thousands of people, they didn't say anything to him. They were all looking like this, "Who is this stranger here?" But the other one is welcomed, because they had this human consciousness, pure consciousness, spiritual consciousness. You know, when there are 20 pigs and one new one comes, all the pigs run behind him. Or to the dogs when another dog comes. Therefore, the development and awakening of the spiritual consciousness from the Maṇipūra Chakra is very important. If you cross the Maṇipūra Chakra without purifying it, then you will have trouble with the heart, with the emotion, with your partner, and you will have many, many troubles. All problems, physical problems, gastric problems, digestive problems, blood pressure problems, skin problems, many, many problems will be solved if you practice techniques for Maṇipūra. The most powerful for this are Nauli and Agnisāra Kriyā and Śaṅkha Prakṣālana. Āgnisar kariyā.
