Clean Your Inner Conflicts

A satsang discourse on the practical application of yoga philosophy in daily life.

"Yoga in daily life is not limited only to one’s own health, but also involves people, our society, and even our entire planet."

"Polish your stone. You yourself are one of the most precious stones. It is priceless."

The speaker, likely a senior teacher, addresses a gathering following a World Peace Congress. He challenges the common view of yoga as merely physical exercise, expanding it to encompass social and planetary health. Using quotes from Gandhi and a visiting scientist, he critiques human possessiveness as the root of conflict. He emphasizes inner purification over external rituals, illustrated by the instruction to "polish your stone" (the self). The core teaching is demonstrated through a detailed narration of the ancient story of King Harichandra, whose severe trials exemplify unwavering integrity and devotion, contrasting sharply with modern hypocrisy.

It makes no difference what topic we have—environment, world peace, chakras, spirituality, humanity—all is encompassed through yoga. Specifically, yoga in daily life. Many people understand this, and many do not, because we think of yoga as a physical exercise, as a calming system, anti-stress—in other words, health, but limited to oneself only. Yoga in daily life is not limited only to one’s own health, but also involves people, our society, and even our entire planet. Two weeks ago—time flies so fast—we had a beautiful World Peace Congress in Bratislava, Slovakia. I would also like to personally thank all the Slovaks who have worked or contributed, and I congratulate you. It was truly beautiful. Thank you. Yes, many did it that way; they hadn’t been to Bratislava yet, but still good. Many were still in despair. Why? That is very good or very important for us to know: what is the difference between simply practicing yoga and living yoga in daily life? We received a very important piece of information in Bratislava, at our World Peace Conference. Who was not there? That way I can repeat. Please raise your hand. Well, do you see? I told you. Who was not there? So, they have missed something very important. Thank you. I hope you will be with us next time. I forgot to say who said it, perhaps you remember. It is a human ego that makes people say, “Our planet, it belongs to us.” But it is the other way around. We belong to this planet. The planet doesn't belong to us, but we belong to the planet. Who said that? Mr. Erzimowitz, yes, the scientist. Where we are, a visitor. And because a visitor, whether a guest in a hotel or a guest at someone else's place or anywhere, is there only as a visitor. And the host provides every possible comfort, all the good things we could need, so that we are well. Then it is the nature within humans that attacks everything, wanting to be the owner. From that time, in the past, as far as we remember, and even now, there is a conflict or a war being waged. Subtitle: my fatherland or my country, my country. And there, the human has planted a seed, and the plants that have sprouted and grown—that is called conflict. And these seeds, one seed, or several seeds—is it called one seed or seeds? Yes, names, exactly. Yes, many names, yes. Has scattered so many names all over the earth. And every plant outside that grows and has grown, has spread more seeds, is called complicit: my territory, my possession, my family, my society, my caste, and my country. And so there is restlessness throughout the entire world. Certainly, nothing is simple. The weed seed as conflict has grown so wildly, almost every individual in the brain is firmly preached as blackmailing. And through our yoga in daily life, throughout the whole world, we strive to create a beautiful work, namely peace. It is difficult for us to realize contentment. And I believe that for human beings, satisfaction will never come. Gandhiji said, “Mother Earth has enough for everyone’s needs, but never enough for greed.” And so it is. Now we ask ourselves as practitioners of yoga, as members of the family Yoga in Daily Life, all of you participating in our extensive Peace Conference: how far have you cleansed dissatisfaction from your hearts? The theory is beautiful. When we see problems arising from this conflict in the world, where people die by the thousands every day, fighting, no matter where, it is truly sorrowful. And when we see these images through television, news, newspapers, magazines, or through the media, we feel very sad. But the question is, what would you have done in this situation? And that is the problem. We now know that there are conflicts everywhere. And we know there is also this catastrophe, which scientists now call Global Warming or Climate Change. We all know that very well now. But the question is, what can we do? And now we are trying to direct all our upcoming activities, our seminars, and our conferences specifically in this direction: what can we do, or what can I do as an individual? Once again, one returns to oneself. Have you cleansed your inner conflicts or not? Many people carry certain stones, as I do, against some influences from a particular planet or planets. Many have beautiful chains in their hand or around their neck against illnesses or for some purpose. This stone is good for the heart, and this stone is good for understanding, and this stone is very good for the intellect, and this one is very good for business and everything. Well, yesterday I had a few consultations with Mahāprabhujī and Gurudev. Gurujī said, “The stone is interesting, because living people are not capable of doing anything. What can a stone do for you?” And so it is. You yourself are one of the most precious stones. It is priceless. As Gurujī said in his bhajan: “Humans are truly precious and rare; they are not attained again and again. This human life is a diamond. You will not receive anything again and again.” And so, with a very small smile, Mahāprabhujī said, “Polish your stone.” And that was already gone. Write your candidacy. Yes, a master speaks or utters only a spark, a word, and this word is called Guru Vākya. When too much is spoken, it becomes mere conversation. But when yes or no or a word is spoken, that is the true Guru Vākya. And understanding that is difficult. “Polish your stones.” I got up and began to polish and cleanse all my stones. And Monika came with tea, half past seven, punctual, just as I had said. And she said, “What are you doing today? What’s wrong with him? Some kind of cleaning obsession, or what do you call it? Clean freak.” But purify your stone; you yourself are your Antaḥkaraṇa. Look how transparent you are. How much do you stay true to your principles? And how far are you able to dedicate and understand everything? And when you place yourself there amidst conflicts—two kinds of conflicts, where people go against people and nothing else but kill each other—both sides die. Yes, after death you see from above this agonizing life that people have created on Earth. Then you realize that knowledge was all meaningless. What did it bring? Even more conflict and even more anger and hatred. Are you ready to take a step in that direction? I asked a question at the last seminar in the Strilki Āśrama, and now I can also ask: “Do you believe in the caste system or not?” And many have said, “No, we do not believe.” Many, many. The second question was, “Are you against the caste system or in favor of it?” There were 800 people, and two said, “I am in favor of the caste system.” Others, all remained completely silent—how do you say, “Pin Silent”? What is that called in German? You can hear a pin drop, so silent. Pin Silent. Yes, I was so proud of everyone who sat before me, except the two who spoke up. But I said, well, they will also understand one day. Well, you know, I am still not satisfied. The questions keep coming. I asked, “How many are willing to marry an African? Or your children get married?” How many have raised their hands against the crowd? And he said, “You see, there is the answer. There is the answer.” At the peace conference in Bratislava, Gulābjī Koṭārī from Rāṣṭra Patrikā gave an example using a banana. You go to the market to shop and see beautiful vegetables and fruits, and they look absolutely wonderful. And you have feelings: I should take this and I should take that and this and that. And there lies a quite beautiful, wonderful, good, great, ripe banana. Whether you come from Africa or from India or from anywhere, Argentina or wherever. Quite something. You take bananas, come home, settle in, and what do you do? You eat the fruit inside. What happens? You throw away the peel. That is correct. The inner fruit. But one temptation, one allure, was the external color of the bananas. And then, once the inner fruit has been discovered, once the inner fruit was already in your hand, you have discarded the others. And so it is through Guru Vākya, through your meditation, and through Antaḥkaraṇa purification. When you discover this inner love, this inner breath, then this outer beauty, what we call “blim blam,” you throw away in the mixed bins; only the animals then refresh with it. And so those who are slaves to externalities are only comparative; please, nothing bad about me. Please excuse me in advance, even though I have the right. It is not too far away as animals. That is it. So, theory—to express one’s own opinion, to provide clarification and to say, “This is sad, why people fight and so on”—this theory is very interesting and simple. But unfortunately, conflict, uprooting and tearing away the poisonous plants from the roots, that is difficult. Because there was very strong pouring with the Main there. And that is why it is difficult to let go, having become greedy for possessions. And that is why whole human beings suffer. Suffer. Certainly, all of us sitting here, including myself, are not as far along as we believe. We are sitting here completely pin-silent, and almost everyone has a beautiful painter hanging in their throat, also a second painter in their hand; the stalls are moving quickly, quickly, quickly. Some are nervous. They do not know what to repeat. The fingers move quickly like this. And the hand trembles. But the inner mālā. Someone says they got angry. The people who practice mālā and wear many mālās still have inner hatred and inner jealousy and envy and greed, and all of that has been said. The mālā is the offering of the mind. Whatever qualities are in the mālā, come out through the second knot. Why sell wood? Hari Om Tat Sat. That is how it is. The mālā is the offering of the mind; the best painter is your spirit, what you repeat mentally in your mind. The other is merely a weight, a burden of wood. If there is so much good in painters, then why does the seller sell all these painters? He can retain and gain for himself, all the power for himself. No. Your painter receives strength from you when you continue practicing. And during the practice, what thoughts do you have and what feelings towards—no matter who—your husband, your wife, your children, your dog, your rabbit, your bird, or your neighbors, your friends, your colleagues, your fellow disciples, sisters, and the whole world? Such energy flows into your painter. You are sitting in a temple, which today in this part of the world is also called a church, but the original name is the temple. But what do you think in the temple? So realize the powers within you. When you think about love, devotion, grace, blessing, forgiveness, wisdom, then this power energy comes to you. But you think that my company is doing well and the fool of the other company is doing so badly. Then, it is like a beautiful story I have told several times, about a jealous man who received a shell—the conch shell. And the shell, how do you say, fulfills all wishes. And a friend of his stole and then returned to God and received a second one, saying, “Yes, this will fulfill all your desires. If you long for a car, you get it immediately; it stands in your house, ready with the key for you, Gerdia, the car papers, everything inside.” This shell we have not yet found. How wonderful, everything managed and the paperwork done, everything. And you come, the door opens, and you sit down inside—that’s how it happens for you. The police come around the next corner, take the tracing paper, and say, “Okay, all right, how nice.” Or as much money or as many jewels or as many possessions as you want, everything comes to you. The jealous, greedy, and angry man was happy, but God knew why. Afterwards he said, “But,” and said, “Dear God, what is ‘but’?” When you order a car through your desires, your neighbor gets two cars. And that was better. Again, my company is still smaller and the other company is growing. And so it is. Thus, our desires are fulfilled during the painting exercise, while carrying the paint, or while handling the luggage—does it matter where? At home, in the āśrama, or in the temple, or in the church, or anywhere. And therefore it is said, “Be cautious.” What should I be careful of? A master tells his disciples, “Be cautious.” What should I be careful about? From wild animals, snakes, from other people, women or men. What should I be cautious of? He asked questions. Not about animals. Not about humans. Not from that, no. Then what do you mean, Master, “Be careful”? From yourself. And so I understood, “Polish your stones.” Smiled quite easily. Mahāprabhujī, foreman, servant, and Hari Om. And so Mahāprabhujī also said in a bhajan: “The devotee leads the way, the disciple bows down, the devotee leads the way, Father, Nive, Satguru passed away, many hardships, and what happened next? Without the Guru, one cannot act; the spirits lead, and the disciple bows. Bhūta means devil, spirits, for one bows when a spirit comes at night. Say, ‘Forgive, please forgive me,’ because you have no strength against him. And gives all the devotion or offerings to the stones. A transgressor does not bow before Satguru Dev.” And that is why so many difficulties arise, so many. So, Yoga in daily life means nothing if it is only selfish, only for oneself as health. And it was clear from the very beginning: physical, mental, social, and spiritual health. And the whole planet is in the picture. Once I was with Holy Gurujī, we were driving in India, we wanted to go to Hattu from Nippel, and I believe either Premanant was driving or Mokshanant or one of them, and something was about a spiritual person. And he has done everything in the external world to become very famous. And Holy Gurujī said, “Yes, that is interesting.” I said, “Yes, Gurujī, very interesting.” Gurujī said, “Sade.” At first, he said, “Very interesting.” And after my long speech, the second word only said, “Sade.” I was confused then, just as I am now and as you are. I said, “What do you think, Gurujī?” Jesus said, “Now his spirituality is declining. Has strived from the beginning with all disciplines to rise above it all. But now it is sinking. Do not strive too hard for your spirituality, for your development.” Śiva, Gurujī has very often spoken about Śiva Dharma. And Śiva is also a spiritual practice. One who cannot renounce anything cannot perform Śiva. And to understand a Śiva and a Guruvākya is a very, very difficult matter. And so it is. There is a beautiful story about a surrendered one, a bhakta of God. It is not easy to dedicate life and do everything for God. Of course, it is a question: does God need that? No. But still, the human mind is completely free. God has given freedom, but with it, He has also given many tests. And especially when there are difficulties in life. There is an examination happening right there. And the entire life one has lived, the decision is made in minutes-long moments or half minutes or just a few seconds. Whether you receive it or not, whether you make it through or not. And so it is a long story, I believe, from the time of the Satya-Yuga or a little later, but it was a true story, indeed, about a king. Gurujī said, only one who possesses both abilities, Yogi and King together, can rule his kingdom. Rājā and Yogī. And that means, not only for the queen back then, but now as well. Back then, he was a king for a lifetime, and now it is only for a short time. These are two types. One at the wedding. During the wedding ceremony, there is a king and a queen. Then it is Finisterium. Just to be a king for a very short time is uninteresting, Markus. When, already, then already. Forever. It is possible, that is what I am telling you now. That is it. A very brief second one, slightly extended. And this is a politician. No matter what position they hold, from the President to ministers and so on. Also temporary workers, they are also employees, introduced, that is it. But those who are fortunate to have both knowledge of politics and spiritual power, spirituality, then the path continues far. So, king and yogi, both at the same time. A sage and saint. It is not necessarily the case that a sage is a saint, nor is it necessarily the case that a saint is a sage. Well, Kriyānanda, right? It is like the saint, what is it called, Sonamukhī’s face. So, a king, his name was King Harichandra. King Harichandra. He was a very, very devoted servant of God. And he said, “In my kingdom, no one will remain poor, no beggars and so on. And in my kingdom, all saints are respected. And what it promises, it will fulfill. My word is my life.” To put your thoughts into action, that is difficult. But when thoughts and actions are different, it creates more seeds of conflict. One day, the king takes a walk in his beautiful park. Many beautiful fruits, mangoes, as well as apples and pears and plums and damsons now. Mother Nature is now whole, with both hands open, and the heart gives us much. Where is it necessary to eat meat? Nature offers us so many healthy things, many things. The king had a son, only one child. And the name of the son was Rohitāśva. Rohitāśva. And what was his wife like? Tārā. And we have it in a bhajan by Holy Gurujī, where this story appears, from Mahāprabhujī’s bhajan. And specifically in the bhajan: “If you have true devotion to Bhakta Hari, why would your mind be anxious? I would make it immortal. Be a devotee like the moon, be a devotee, be steady, be truthful, why does the mind become anxious?” So, King Harishchandra, Queen Tārā, son Rohitāśva. Now, God said, “I must test him. Whether he truly stands by his word, his promises, and also his principles, his disciplines. And his wife as well, and his son too. It is not only Chagapur who is affected. Nicole is as well. And the Nara in Puri as well. All three together. And they are. That is how it is. It was. And their name remains immortal to this day. Others were in the soup in the meantime. Coming, going. No one knows who was. Do you remember? Your 10th grandfather? Great, great, grandfather. What was his name? Does anyone know? Do you know your grandfather, then his father, and then his father, and so on up to ten? We have forgotten, we have even forgotten our ancestors. That is it.” The king goes for a walk, very happily, in his garden. He lives on the banks of the Gaṅgā, the sacred Gaṅgā. Beautiful mango trees and lovely flowers, and everything smells wonderful. At that time, there was no question of environmental pollution. At that time, there were absolutely no thoughts about climate change. No one thought that our younger generation, the children, would be such that they would completely pollute this Earth. And suddenly, King Harichandra sees a brāhmaṇa sitting in the garden, an elderly brāhmaṇa, waiting for the king. And the king came, and the brāhmaṇa said to the king, he greeted him, the king greeted him, and the king said, “What can I do for you? I will fulfill all your questions, fulfill your wishes.” He said, “Yes King, I have a daughter and I want my daughter, it is high time that she gets married. But I want to give her, as a gift—here they say dowry—I want to give her a kingdom. You can give me your kingdom.” The king has promised, has said yes. “Then come to Gaṅgā.” It has gone to the Gaṅgā. Both in the water up to the knees. Take water in your hand. That means, when you have water in your hand and make promises, you are making promises in the presence of these water elements. Water is life. And life is water. That is why water is sacred. Wherever there is water, there is God. Because there are living beings there. “Do you promise?” And he promised, “I will give all my kingdom, everything.” Afterwards he said, “Alright, I need ten more large coins, seven or ten or sixteen, I have forgotten the number, add those as well, King.” The king says, “No problem, come with me.” He said, “Where to?” “To my palace. Nothing belongs to you anymore, my dear. You have no right. But here is your palace and your king. This belongs to the kingdom. And I will give you time for one hour. You should move out with your family. And you know, you must not take anything from my kingdom. Only the clothes that you have on your body.” This walk was already costly. It does not have a good constellation. Perhaps it was Friday and a cat crossed your path. But before that, you hurt my kingdom. Leave. “My seven golden coins, please.” “You no longer have any right to your safe, because it is no longer yours. And I will follow you, keep following you, as long as you give me nothing. And you know that time is very limited. I must marry off my daughter.” Dear doctor, children. Now, I believe the modern system is good. The parents do not know where this thing is going, the Diendel, where the Diendel spends time, and comes home with surprise. No caste conflict helps here anymore. In this sense, it is easier. The parents do not have to worry about everything. And emancipation on top of that. One of our students, very proud at her wedding, said she would only wear jeans. And she did it. She wore jeans and a denim vest, completely ordinary, everyday attire. And she got married in a church, I don’t know, but at all the gatherings, she was in those clothes. Not the kind you wear just once on the wedding day. Is what I say true or not? No one dares to say no. That's right. One of our proud students from Wieden, can you remember now? Yes or no? And indeed, our dear Pavitra, Christine. You said you got married in Jinn. Oh God, then my example was wrong again. Yes, the pants. For me, all pants are in Jinn. Except for yoga pants. And I believe you didn’t get married wearing yoga pants. But pants. Alright then. Partly true. Very good. What color was the pants? In the future, it is gray. So, gray. There you go. That is progress, yes? Kriyānanda. One is standing on the head. So, the king must leave his house or palace with his son. And they did not have permission to stay in the country. Immigrating to another country. But first, you shall give me my gold coins. A temple owner has bought his son. In three gold coins. And the son went with the temple owner. The woman participated. The woman did not say anything foolish. What did you promise and what did you do? This is called unity and love. Yes, one says here, “You marry, I will always stand by you, whether in bad or good times,” one says or not? I believe I once attended a wedding somewhere in a church, and they said, “Bravo.” And after some time, it was already over. You didn’t mean it that way? That was it. And furthermore, these temple people, the owners, also bought the queen. And the brāhmaṇa says, “Quickly, give me gold coins, quickly.” The temple owner has given the task of cleaning beautiful flowers from the park and bringing water for the Queen's Pūjā. From the Gaṅgā, temples are purified with Gaṅgā water. And the son, yes, the son's task was to go to the park in the morning and bring beautiful flowers for the altar and so on. At least the parents were happy that the mother was with the son. Now, only he himself remains, left alone. And he says, “My gold coins quickly.” Such a one, called Harijan, the street cleaner, bought them from him. The Harijan, who at that time was said to be the lowest caste. And against this conflict, Gandhi struggled greatly and upheld righteousness. Now. Harijan has understood what my happiness is—that a king is my servant, but not as a king, nor as a servant; rather, it is my fortune that he has a king in my house. But the wife of this Harijan was a despicable person. She treated the Harijan in such a way. Really, like someone who is not good with words, but like dirt. But the king, he has allowed himself to be sold, his promise to return the money, and he is fulfilling his duty. He said, “This is my duty now.” Twice even, she struck with the broom. When the Harijan, the man, saw it with his own eyes, he was in distress. He felt so sorry for him. He said, “Harichandra, I have a task for you,” where you have very little to do with my women. And that every day. Go to the Gaṅgā, bring water, bring water from there and give water to drink to all my pigs. Because they had many pigs, which served as natural cleaners. And you receive groceries and are then expected to cook your own food. Well, he lives far away from this woman, no opportunity to scold. Every day, he brings water for the pigs from a large well. Then he goes for a bath and cooks for himself. As he prepares his food, a very hungry beggar arrives. Very hungry. He says, “I am dying, please give me food.” He gave him everything he had cooked. A king, very sad. He lost his kingdom, had to sell his son, had to sell his wife. Even as a very lowly task, he was never like that; he worked a little in his life, it was hard, sad, but he never had depression. Nowadays, many people develop depression—that is called willpower, inner strength. A sense of duty, what has been said and what has been resolved is spiritual, for the sake of God's Name. He truly wishes to be a servant of God. No matter what, he does not think about his own life. Gurudev, Merik, Bhāskara, Measkara and Kiske, Kiske. What else should I wait for from someone else or something like that? It was days, 10, 15 days had passed. Every day, after he had prepared some food, a hungry beggar would come and say, “King, you rush about healthy and well, but if one day nothing happens, nothing happens. Please, he can have it.” And he has given everything. And he was given only that much food daily. The woman of her boss, his boss, that was it. He weighed 250 grams of Zepati flour, one potato. Back then, there were no potatoes, right? No. Well, I mean, those in the video who will hear these words say that Swāmījī has no idea, because back then there were no potatoes yet. The potato came from another land. Is that right? What happens? Destiny. A human being is a prey of fate. A human being is a battlefield for their destiny. A menz is the football on the football field. A menz is a boat lying on the shore, and with every wave of water, it strikes the shore. These are called blows of fate. Let us wish that no one ever experiences such a thing. Now one day, he comes to the river with this pot and fills the pot with water, but he could not lift anything. 15 liters of water. And on the other side, the swans are thirsty. It is a time when the waters must be received. He cannot lift this pit. He waits for someone to come and help me. And he sees 20, 30 meters away, a woman coming to fetch a pit of water. And he asks, “Who are you?” And here she comes, that was his wife, his queen. And meanwhile out of worries, and he has also changed in this way. And then, she found, saw that he is the King. And he said to her, “Please, could you help me lift this pitcher?” She said, “No, may I not touch your jug, it belongs to a Harijan. I must not touch you.” He said, “But you are my queen.” He said, “Yes, but must I keep my promise. I am a servant of the temple and must not touch you, my principles.” Both. She is sad. He is sad. He asks her, “Please help me, my mind will become very angry.” Mrs. Sefin said, “I can do nothing. My Lord will also be very angry if I touch you or your pitcher. But love for you, I can give you a piece of advice, that your pitcher comes onto your shoulder.” He said, “Yes, please.” “Go into the water up to your shoulders. Light, how do you say, graffiti. Press down. Has pressing up, right? Buoyancy.” And he did it, so the pitcher was on his shoulder. He comes out of the water and suddenly everything has turned black for him. He was dizzy because he had not eaten or slept for many, many days. And all these worries. And he almost fell to the ground, but not before the pot. And the water jug was broken. He was very sad. He comes home without water, the pigs are thirsty, and this woman, quite angry, waits with a broom. “Where were you?” And he said what would happen. And she was so angry. “The pitcher belonged to my great-grandfather. A valuable one, and you have broken it, destroyed my possession or something,” and struck it. In these moments, the man came, he apologized and brought water himself, and said to the king, “O King, I know that you are my servant, but I always see you as my... King, and I am sorry that you have to deal with my wife about something. I have another task for you, which you will hardly ever see.” He said, “Do nothing. It was my mistake. It is my fault. She is right.” He said, “Nevertheless, such a thing should not happen. I own a cemetery. And the cemetery is about two kilometers away from the village. And there is a small hut. You can live there. No one shall be buried or cremated there without paying five gold coins. Anyone who comes with their relatives or deceased family members, the text fee is five gold coins. No matter when they come.” He said, “Yes Lord, I will do it.” He went there, all alone, to change the conditions. Fate continues. Now his son has entered the petal of the flower, into a beautiful flowering bush. And inside sits a snake, a cobra, and it bites him. The boy dies on the spot. And no one wanted to carry him away. And the news reached his mother. There was no one there to help her. No one. She was so exhausted. So sad. “What does God still want with me? How many more severe trials must I endure? My only hope, my son, has also passed away. My husband is suffering somewhere.” She had no clothes to cover the corpse of her son. She takes her own sārī, tears it, wraps it around her body, and others help her onto the corpse. And she herself carries the corpse on her shoulders to the cemetery. And she knew she needed five gold coins and there was nothing. She went there alone in the middle of the night. And it rained and thundered and lightning flashed. And the guard, as her husband saw in the flash of lightning, someone is standing there with a corpse. He went there immediately and asked, “Who are you?” and so on, the same situation again. And she said who you are and introduced themselves. He said, “This is our child.” He said, “Yes, but I stand by my duty. You must pay five gold coins, otherwise you cannot cremate your son here. Take it back.” “I have nothing.” He said yes. “Because I only have duty here.” “Please help me.” He said yes. “Do you remember that you said you must not touch my group? You must uphold your principles. But you have given me a piece of advice. And so I can also give you a piece of advice. I can only help indirectly. What? Going begging.” As a queen. She goes begging. A whole day of weeping misery. All day long. She gathered three coins. And one more, four. She went there with four coins. She said, “That is all I could get. I have been walking on my feet all day and have been begging. Please allow me to do that.” He said no. “Five is five. Four plus one is five. Five minus one is not five. But what am I to do?” He said, “Remain as one. Give me your head.” And she was ready to have her head struck. He was ready, with a sword, set out to behead her, because his lord had said, “No matter when it concerns life, still let no one live who here with great will can burn the corpse. I am right.” Back then, they had power. The Harijan, the mayor, was not a mayor, but a king, a small king or so, and a priest. She is standing there by the hands. His hands were trembling as well, but he took his sword and wanted to strike. And someone holds from behind. “Enough, King, finished. I am the brāhmaṇa who has taken your kingdom. I am the one who asked for money, asked for 10 coins or 15. And I am the one who took your food away as a beggar. And I was like a snake in the flower bush, biting your son. And now I am here to show you this, my son, you have fulfilled your task. Look at me.” And he sees Chaturbhuja. Chaturbhuja means the four-armed God; Viṣṇu blesses him. “Your kingdom belongs to you. That was only my play, the Māyā.” And he finds, blesses his son, stands up, the queen is there. And they received the Kingdom again. And the trials were so severe. And what do we do? And one person understands knowledge, words, vākyas, and one person can only attain realization. Yes, many say, this is uninteresting. Yes, of course, it is very uninteresting. But if you think deeply, it is very interesting. In every life, you will continue to suffer. So, do not let this opportunity slip away—to live as a human and achieve something. And that is to realize God. Not your God, my God, his God, but only one God. All that is present, that which endures beyond all forms, names, and so forth. Ātman. So’ham, Brahmātmā. And that requires losing the inner jewel. Nareśvara Bhagavān.
