Evening satsang from Strilky

Yoga originates from the universal resonance of consciousness. The authentic system is based on ancient scriptures. The author of yoga is Śiva, who manifested from the cosmic light. This primal tendency is the resonance Oṁ, which harmonizes and holds the universe together. It is the prāṇa within all life. The individual soul originates from this Śiva Jyoti. Yoga is therefore universal, predating all religions and belonging to all. Practice requires discipline. One must offer the self, like a seed, to multiply and truly live.

"You have to die in order to live."

"Anyone who meditates is Śiva."

Hari Om, dear Swāmījī. Hari Om, everyone. I would like to welcome you all to the beautiful surroundings of Střílky Mahāprabhū Dīp Āśram. We are very happy that you have come and that you keep coming throughout the entire year, for without you, this āśram would have no purpose. We have spent a beautiful week together with Swāmījī, full of lectures, satsaṅgs, practice, and walks. There was, of course, also time for food. Whoever had not had enough of the āśram food could also visit the lassi shop or the newly opened pizza restaurant or cafe. Some of the āśram food was provided by the employees and many karmayogīs, whom we would like to thank. The whole week was run by āśram people and karma yogīs, and we thank all of you for helping with running the āśram. Perhaps the only sad people here were the owners of the little shops in the yard, because people were so busy practicing that they forgot to buy. I would like to wish all of you, as you perhaps hear at the beginning of yoga classes, that you put all your troubles, sorrows, and stress behind the door and spend time just for yourself. We are very happy that Swāmījī has found three weeks to be with us here in Śrīlakāyāśram. Let’s make him happy also, and let’s work upon ourselves. Thank you. Thank you, Swāmījī. You should know Swāmījī is always happy. But thank you for wanting to make me happy. Today, the 2nd of July, is something very special; that’s why you are here. Many things have been explained by Gaṅgā, so you are most welcome again at home. We have many homes, but this is one of the best homes, sorry. We are very happy today, also, specially, that our dear Swāmī Gājanandjī came from Vancouver, Canada. We welcome him. This is for you, Swāmījī. Last week we had a beautiful program. Many of you are here. Many come for satsaṅg. And I must tell you that last week, the group was very disciplined. Všichni cvičili. According to Yoga in Daily Life, Yoga in Daily Life is made out of authentic yogic scriptures and ancient yogic literatures. The author of Yoga is Lord Śiva. Śiva is the creator of wisdom, spirituality, language, mantras, everything. Śiva himself is a yogī. Śiva introduced yoga, the way of life, as he manifested himself from the universal light—the first resonance. And before the resonance, it is said, or maybe it was a wish. Now the wish is too little. A wish is selfish. So, or the will is also selfish. When saying, "Lord, thy will be done," that’s too little. Therefore, it is called tendency. That energy, and in that tendency, it is. The potentiality inside is called, "I am one, and now I will multiply." When we put one seed in the ground, in the earth, in good soil, the seed has to die. The seed has to give up its own existence. For what? To multiply. So it begins to sprout and becomes a beautiful plant or a tree, and it creates millions of seeds. But first, you have to offer. So it is said in the Śāstras, Vedas, and Upaniṣads. In the Rāmāyaṇa—the Rāmāyaṇa time was 10,000 years ago—and the Bhagavad Gītā time was more than 5,000 years ago, nearly now 6,000. It is said: You have to die in order to live. How do we understand? You have to die to live. Mahāprabhujī said in his bhajan, "Jīvat hī murda samre, nai siddh, nai pīr." While you are living, but you died. Neither are you a siddha, nor are you a prophet. Swāmī Dīp Avadhūta Avaliyah. But that one is a great one, yogī, avadhūta. So Śiva is also called avadhūta. Mahāvīraṅke vīra, heroes of the heroes. So that tendency in that energy, in that consciousness, awoke as the resonance: Oṁ. Nowadays, what they call the Big Sound, the Big Bang, or what they called... No, Śānti, what did they call it? Big Bang, but it was not like that. The Big Bang is like an earthquake. It was not like that. The Big Bang is like a terrorizing. Terrorizing, not terroristic. That can be in your heart. I’m not this terrorist, what you call. And when you talk to the terrorist, they say, "About which terrorist are you talking?" So this subject we shall leave for the politicians, because they include it. They are very nice; they try to protect countries, culture, and traditions. But that resonance is called harmony. In the Mother Earth, there is a beautiful harmony and acceptance. And Mother Earth will never lose the seed, and that is the universe. Universal Mother, and in her body resides that consciousness, and in that consciousness there is a tendency. And that is called resonance. Very fine. If that resonance were not here, our body would fall apart. It will just dissolve. Suddenly your finger is dissolving, you don’t know. Every particle is just flying away. But it is that prāṇa. Thanks to prāṇa, thanks to this energy, thanks to this tendency, the energy lasts for a long time. I’m happy to be with you, because this afternoon we spoke on the subject of our lectures and satsaṅg: Prāṇa and yogic breath. So this all is the subject of prāṇa. So it is that resonance which keeps the entire universe, the endless universe, together. And that is harmonizing, called Oṁ. And that is Creator, Protector, and Liberator. And that is within us. That is residing in our navel and manifesting from there to the vocal cords. Protected by the jñānendriyas and liberated by that consciousness, Sahasrāra Cakra, Śiva. Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva. Akār, Ukār, Makār, these are three principles. Akār is that Brahmā, that nirguṇa to saguṇa. Akār means form, and ukār is that which is protecting, keeping, maintaining, sustenance. And Makār is Mokṣa, Maheśa. Liberation. So from this came the Jyoti. From resonance came what is called Cosmic Jyoti, Cosmic Light, and that entire universal light energy projected in flame. And that becomes, or is known as, Jīvan Jyoti, the flame of life. And from this flame of life, Jīvanjyoti—that’s also called Śivjyoti, consciousness, pure consciousness—and from that Jyoti, Śiva manifested. Jak? And it is said that when Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and the other gods were waiting until he would open his eyes, they said, "Hurry up before he closes his eyes, then no one can wake him up, one with universe meditation." So Śiva means meditation. Anyone who meditates is Śiva. Anyone who closes their eyes to go to sleep is going into the lap of Śiva. They are Śiva. So Jīva and Śiva. We are the Jīva, means individual soul, and our origin is that Śiva Jyoti, Śiva. And so yoga was the universal one, even before Śiva manifested himself. Hey boys and girls, don’t disturb here, okay? Keep your prasāda there. Don’t move between. Vipuṣpa, here, guard! Why did you let them come here? Go stand there, don’t sit here. Thank you, Dr. Swāmī Sādhvī, Śānti Devī jī. Thank you, Dr. Sādhvī Swāmī. Yes. Śānti jī kī? Jai. Very good. You see, when the program is there, people should not move. Well, so Śiva itself is a yoga. At that time, there was no name of any religion; it is trillions of years. Therefore, Yoga is universal. It should be practiced and practiced by all religions, no conflict. This is a narrow thinking that is called conflict. Anyhow, therefore, the authority of yoga is Lord Śiva. He is the master, or he blessed us with all knowledge, mantra, this, this... this. And equal vision. He tried to balance both energies, negative and positive. Devīc Śakti, Āsuric Śakti. And therefore, even the Asuras were obeying the Lord Śiva. So, subject changing. Yoga in Daily Life is based on ancient yogic literature. Authentic. And therefore, you are in the right place. And that’s why you’re in the right place. Programme Kriyānuṣṭhāna. Haṭha Yoga. Lectures, practical and theoretical, for juniors and seniors programs. And every day, a one-and-a-half-hour program for yoga teachers, because many yoga teachers did not have practical training again. Yes. So everything is updated. So those who are here, all yoga teachers, they have to quit their one-and-a-half-hour anuṣṭhāna and attend the yoga teacher’s course. And those yoga teachers who have over kilos, from tomorrow onwards, on the water diet. Still, give water. It is very good water, or you may get some tomatoes and a few cherries, so you have to be a yoga teacher. Your body tells if you are a yoga teacher or not. That’s why I quit myself. I have to say, I learned it from a yoga teacher. Please stay. That’s it. And I asked my body, "Go only for water." And it said, "No, yes." So there will be instructions for yoga teachers. And the special subject will be yogic breath and prāṇas. And then, to develop our willpower and to control our ego, we will have karma yoga for everyone. All. It may be only half an hour. And you have to catch all the mosquitoes from this area in one jar. And we will go. There’s a far away, nice lake. There’s no people, and we will immigrate them there. The program will be nice, and I think we will put a lot of webcasts. Almost every program. Sometimes children’s program, junior program, senior program, Karma Yoga program, Yoga Teacher’s program. So, our dear friends around the world can also be some part of our activities. And if they wish, they are welcome to come. So I welcome you and wish you a very pleasant stay. You have to take care of your things. Not that somebody can steal; nobody will steal. But you forget somewhere. Then you think it is stolen. Therefore, please take care of your old documents and money and give them to the office in one envelope. And in sleeping rooms, mobile phones are not allowed to be used. And when it is a good night, after half an hour, when you finish your bathrooms, you are not allowed to have light anymore. So it means respect your neighbors. So once more, welcome. And bless you in the name of Mahāprabhujī’s light. Siddha Pīṭh program, you have as usual always, and breakfast from 8 to 8:45. Then we go for a walk about one and a half hour, then we come back, and then 11 to 12 we have a lecture, and so on. All the best. Once more, welcome, Dīp Nārad Bhagavān. Devīśvara Mahādeva Mādhava Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān Sanātana Kīcāī.
