Surrender and be free
Yoga is the disciplined, regular practice of spiritual techniques in daily life. The goal is to awaken cosmic energy and attain higher consciousness. Ancient yogis achieved this through sustained practice, attaining states where the astral body could travel consciously. In ordinary dreaming, the causal body acts but creates no binding karma. Conscious astral travel is different, allowing for real experience. The soul, however, remains bound by attachment and desires. Upon leaving the body, one fully experiences the consequences of attachments and broken vows, witnessing what one does not wish to see but can no longer influence. This is the suffering from moha, or ignorance. Therefore, purification of the mind's fluctuations through discipline is essential. Only with a purified consciousness can the chakras receive cosmic energy. Complete surrender to the divine is ultimate freedom from all bondage.
