Oṁ Namaḥ Nārāyaṇa to all the sannyāsīs present here, and Hari Oṁ and good evening to all of you. Before, Jadan used to have a majority of oranges; now we are more of bananas. It’s good. A good balance, otherwise we are always full. The majority is always the orange people. As you know, a few days back I went to the Mahāsamādhi of Gītā Bhāratījī. Many of you saw her, had her darśana, and met her in various places. I think in 2016 or 2017, she was also here in Jadan. There was some program going on, and there was a tent near Matajī’s Samādhi. And, huh? 15? One year before Kumbh? Okay, 2015. After that, we had her darśana in the Kumbha Melā of 2016 in Ujjain. I think that picture is from there, where Mātajī is there, and Swāmījī, and Gītā Bhāratī Jī, and Vivek Purī Jī. In Kumbh also, she was very kind. Her disciples—she also has many kids. She has, I think, twelve. Now, when I went for the samādhi, I saw twelve. Many, you know, like how I came to Swāmījī, many children are given to her like that. They are like the oldest one, who is now the successor. Geetā Parthājī was already made the successor in 2016 at the Kumbh, and then was made Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara two years ago. So, she’s, I think, 30 plus. She takes care of the Haridwar Ashram and now will take care of everything. Another one takes care of the Delhi Ashram. Another takes care of Ahmedabad, another takes care of Solapur. Then there are two similar to my age, a little bit younger, and then there are three who are maybe five, six, seven. Then there are two who are a few months old. So yeah, there’s a whole family. Four of them are boys; the rest are girls. I had a good connection with them because every time they came here, I got to know them more. In the Kumbha Melā of 2016, I was still with Viśokanandjī. Every evening I used to go and be with the guys there, have dinner with them, and just chit-chat for a while. So they became good friends, and I had a good connection with them. Also, when we were in Ramdev’s Ayurvedic treatment for Gurudev, I called them, and Mataji was gracious enough to come and meet Swamiji in the Patañjali hospital. So they also had a very beautiful bond. Mataji was the first female Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara in our Akhāṛā, or in any Akhāṛā. She was, I think, seven when she got the presidential award for remembering the whole Bhagavad Gītā, all 18,000 ślokas. That’s why her name is actually Swami Santosh Purī, but she became Gītā Bhāratī because that was the title given to her for remembering the whole Gītā at the age of seven. Then, at the age of 16 or 15, she already became the Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara. She dedicated her whole life. She was one year older than Swāmījī; she was born in 1944, and Swāmījī in 1945. She was not well for the past few months, and then was in a coma for the last few days before she passed. I found out and called Viśokānandajī. He said, "Yeah, he is also on the way from Calcutta to Ahmedabad." I said, "I will also come." Then we drove from here at night. We started at 10:11 at night and reached there at 4:05 in the morning, slept for two to three hours, and then by 10 o’clock we were already at the procession. Her wish was to have her samādhi in Hargośālā, which was 30-40 kilometers outside of Ahmedabad. They had a pickup tractor-type vehicle, put Matajī there, and then held a procession throughout the whole of Ahmedabad. After that, everyone, all the bhaktas, sat in their cars and buses, and we drove 30–40 kilometers to the Ghośālā and gave her samādhi there. Our Mahānirvāṇī Akhāṛā Ācārya Viśokānandajī was there, as was Zartalā Akhāṛā Ācārya Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara Viśvātmānandajī, Jai Kiśanjī, Prem Ānandajī, Śailesh Ānandajī... Śailesh Ānandajī. We drove back for seven hours and reached here again at 10 at night. So basically, it was a whole 24-hour journey. Now, back for a few days, and tomorrow continuing further. Nand Purī, Jai Gurudeva, Kī Jai.
