Love never compares. Awareness plus patience equals peace. Conquer yourself, not others. You have the right to action, not the fruit. Balance is essential. Spiritual ego is the worst mask. Lord Śiva is Mahādev because his whole family is worshipped. The divine family lives in unity despite natural conflicts. Yet even gods debate who is greater. The trinity of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva resides within. The guru lights the inner jyoti to spread. Bring others to experience the nectar of bhakti, karma, kriyā, rāja, and jñāna yoga.

"Talk with awareness and listen with patience. Awareness plus patience equals peace."

"Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān never asked Arjuna to win a battle. He just taught Arjuna how to conquer himself."

Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Talk with awareness and listen with patience. Throughout last week, we were discussing this. While talking, if there is clarity, purity, and awareness in our thoughts and speech, and the other person is patient enough to listen to whatever you have to say—awareness plus patience equals peace. Simple math. If you give me a complicated math solution to solve, I need a calculator. But the strategy for peace does not need to be confined to a relationship; it can be in a friendship, it can be between us, between anyone. Listen with patience, talk with awareness. That is it. Kṛṣṇa Bhagavān never asked Arjuna to win a battle. He never said, "Win an argument." He just taught Arjuna how to conquer himself. And when we conquer ourselves, when we know how to tame the horse of Kāma, Krodha, Mada, Lobha, Ahaṅkāra, then automatically we are aligned and walk in the path of Dharma, as Kṛṣṇa told Arjuna. In the 47th śloka of the 2nd chapter of the Bhagavad Gītā, Śrī Kṛṣṇa said that we have the right to the karmas, to the actions that we do, but we do not have the right to decide the fruit or the result of the actions that we do. But we are in Kali Yuga. What do Kali Yuga bhaktas wish for? "God, You give the fruits and the results. You do not worry about my karmas." Dāt. "O Bhagavān, it does not matter how I am or what I do; You be good to me." We eat a lot of pizzas, burgers, and french fries, and then the doctor tells me I have high cholesterol. So, is it the fault of the oil in the food, or is it my fault that I was eating it? But I say, "No, my body, you take care of me. It does not matter how I treat you." The same is true with God, the same is true with Gurudev, the same is true with a partner, with friendship, with anything. It is all 50-50. If it is over 50 on one side, that side will be trying to be happy, but it will not be. Even nature makes balance. Then why can we not balance ourselves, our lives? If a garden were full of roses, then that garden would become boring. Why? Because there are only roses, I think. Because it is just one type, one kind of rose. But do you know what the worst mask of ego is? Spiritual ego. But we will talk about that after one bhajan, or actually kīrtan—hype them up. Kīrtan. Oh yes, and are you excited for tomorrow? Guess what tomorrow is? Monday. Pondělī. So I will see you at 4:30 in the morning here. Every Monday we have Śiva Abhiṣek for Lord Śiva, who always travels with me. You know how happy Śivjī is in the Kailāś Parvat. In the Kailāś mountain, Śiva is very happy. But here he is wandering every day, unpacked in a bag, and unpacked, and unpacked, and unpacked. And on some days, he is unpacked and packed four times. Sometimes he is flying for 16–17 hours in a small box. But he is Bhūlenāth. Bhūlenāth means... What does bhūlā mean, Pārvatī Jī? But he is Bhūlenāth. Merciful. Mahādev, Devoke Dev Mahādev. Ok, good. Last year we discussed why Mahādev is known as Mahādev. Others we call Agnidev, meaning the God of fire. Vāyu Dev, Wind. Indra Dev, Indra Dev. They all have "Dev," but Śivjī has "Mahādev." Why? Because he is supreme? Because he is suffering. Supreme, supreme, okay. The greatest, I mean, yes, he is also suffering with us, but that is a different problem. But what did we talk about? What about his family condition? What does he have as his mode of transport? Nandī, the bull. And what does he wear on his neck? A snake. Haḍa. The mode of transport of his son, Gaṇeśjī? A mouse. And in the real world, snakes eat mice. The mode of transport of his second son, Kārtikeya: a peacock. And peacocks eat snakes. The mode of transport of his wife, Pārvatī Jī, Ambā, Durgā: a lion or tiger, which in real life eats the bull—it can, if it wants. But still, they all live in unity, they all live in peace. And we, in one family, cannot live together properly. The reason why he is called Mahādev, and not just Dev, is because all the gods or goddesses are worshipped alone or with their partner. But Lord Śiva is the only one whose whole family is being worshipped. Sītā Rām, Sītā Rām, Lakṣmī Nārāyaṇ, Kṛṣṇa Rukmiṇī—all of them, partners, ok. But Śivjī himself is being worshipped. His wife, Pārvatī Jī, is being worshipped. His sons, both of them, are being worshipped. Daughter-in-law and grandchildren—Ṛddhi, Siddhi, Śubh, Lābh—they are also worshipped. Even their animals, look: Nandījī, this is the first animal, but he sits with Śiva because he is also worshipped. That is why he is Devo Ke Dev Mahādev. He is the God of the Gods. But then even they are not in peace. Even they are not in peace. Because then Viṣṇu Bhagavān says, "You are greater." And then Śivjī says, "No, Viṣṇubhagavān is greater." That is why it says, Rāmasya Īśvaraḥ Rāmīśvaraḥ. And then Viṣṇubhagavān says, "Yasya Īśvaraḥ Sarvamīśvaraḥ," which means, one says, "The one who is worshipped by Rāma, that is the greatest." And the other one says, "The one who is worshipped by Rāma is the greatest." So one is saying, Rāmjī is saying, "You are my Lord," and Śiva is saying, "No, you are my Lord." But then my beautiful family says, "Neither of them." Rāma Kṛṣṇa se ikonavade usnevi Guru kī, we sing it every day, we remember it every day. We say, no, Rāma and Kṛṣṇa, they all incarnated to this world, but still they had to, at the end of the day, come to Viśvāmitra, Vālmīki, their gurus. They are the gods themselves. God, full form: generator, operator, and destroyer. Brahmā Jī created. Viṣṇu Jī is operating it, and Lord Śiva is destructing it. But all three of them reside inside of us. Our mind creates the problem—Brahmā. Our imaginary body is doing and operating—that is Viṣṇu. And then that heart and our viveka combined together do the destruction of the problem which Brahmā created. So Śiva is present. But then what do we sing? Satta Guru Jyotasi Jyotasakam. So the day when we got our mantra, that day Gurudev lit that jyoti within our heart, that light in our heart, not to keep it for ourselves, but jyoti said, from one jyoti, from one light, we encourage, we help, we support each other, and spread that light further. So every one of you will at least try to bring two to four people to the next seminar, so it will be more full. So each of you, for the next seminar, bring at least two or four people with you, so that it will be even more joyful. The doors of the Strilky Ashram are always open. That is why this time there was nothing: "Who are you burning? Why are you burning?" Who wants to come and experience the flow of the river? Come. If anyone says, "Come here, I know everything," that is a place from which you run immediately. But our beautiful family says, come, experience it. You like it, well and good. You do not like it, phir kṛpā, kuṭkī, chal go. Because that viveka śakti, and to know if it is right or not, that is in your own hands. And that is the reason why we still, every year, come back to experience the sauna. The saṅgham hall, I call sauna for context. Why? Because our vehicle is intact and says, "OK, summer vacation, we split it not only in the sea, but also in the sea of Amṛt." Because here we get that amṛt, that nectar from each other, from Gurudev, from being in that space, in that atmosphere. Which nectar? The nectar of bhakti. The nectar of karma yoga. The nectar of Kriyā Yoga, or Rāja Yoga, or Jñāna Yoga. Here we get the nectar of all four.
