We sit here in a beautiful room, in a beautiful atmosphere, with air conditioning, light, and flowers. The surrounding world here is very peaceful. Many of us have already had our meal, and many will have it after our program. We all have our bed, a very soft pillow, and a blanket to sleep in, and we are looking forward to it. Yet it is very, very sad that at the same time, there are millions of children, women, and men who have no peace in their minds and are full of fear. We do not know when they had their last meal or when they can expect their next one. Will they have a chance to sleep at all? Will they see tomorrow's sunrise or not? It does not matter on which part of the world our brothers and sisters, our human family, are in trouble and suffering. How, then, can we enjoy our evening meal and sleep peacefully? No one has created this situation except humans. And therefore, I think what we can do as an individual is only prayer. We do not have power in our hands. Perhaps our world still lacks that power, that we can say, "Stop, finished," and it will be stopped. But sooner or later, God will hear our prayer.
