The disciple's inner purity determines their capacity to understand the Guru's message. This message is a true instruction for spiritual progress. The Guru's guidance, though sometimes difficult, is medicinal and tailored to the disciple's specific qualities. Impurities arise from a lack of social education and from absorbing negative energies through bad company, which acts as a spiritual disease. The intellect's power of discrimination must be used to follow divine indications from nature and scripture, just as one would follow a parent's warning. Liberation comes from constant awareness of past actions and realizing one's true nature as the soul, beyond birth and death.
"Even if we give milk to a cobra, the cobra will produce poison."
"Human life is great, but at the same time, very poor because we have too many temptations."

The Blessing Of Kumbha Mela
1:30 - 1:58 (28 min)
The Kumbha Melā is a profound spiritual confluence. It is believed the nectar of immortality fell at Prayāg, making the site eternally sacred. People gather for purification of body, mind, and soul. Historically, it was a meeting of great saints and scholars who discussed societal guidance and freedom from dogma. It also served as a vital node for communication across the land. Today, its positive impact grows, especially on youth seeking ethical grounding. The gathering reawakens inner spirituality. The site's sanctity is linked to the confluence of three rivers, symbolizing peace, intellect, and consciousness. A special celestial constellation amplifies its purifying radiance. The sādhu-saṅgha, including the organized akhāṛās and Nāgā Sādhus, has historically upheld Dharma and protected culture. The primordial sound Oṁ is the source and essence of all. True practice seeks sincerity, not dogma. The ultimate Kumbha, the pot of nectar, is found within through yoga, harmonizing the inner energies to become a being of light and love. This Melā is a blessing for world peace.
"One feels a purification that brings harmony to body, mind, and soul."
"As long as there is the slaughterhouse, there will also be the battlehouse."

Around the world - YIDL at he Sziget Festival Budapest 2011
2:00 - 2:05 (5 min)
Yoga is offered as a sanctuary within a large music festival. For eleven years, we provide a daily practice, showing festival-goers how to relax deeply. Many newcomers try yoga here for the first time. We adapt to the fast-paced environment by offering 20-25 minute sessions tailored to individual requests for rest, asana, or meditation. Initial interest often comes from seeing dynamic asana practice. We always begin with simple, grounding exercises, not advanced postures. We emphasize preserving the tradition's purity and spirituality, contrasting with the popular strength-based styles. Our presence in this community space is essential, as many might not seek out a dedicated center. People practice even amidst loud music, achieving a withdrawal of the senses. This demonstrates that deep relaxation is possible anywhere.
"Based on this, our prepared yoga instructors tailor the session accordingly."
"The astonishing experience we have is that at most they achieve pratyāhāra, the withdrawal of the senses, so that they are absolutely undisturbed by what is happening outside."

Around the world - YIDL at the Budapest Carfree Day
2:10 - 2:13 (3 min)
Yoga is practiced in the heart of the city on a car-free day. Our international system, Yoga in Daily Life, was founded by an Indian master and has been present here for over thirty years. We have a center that has continuously held classes from the same location. Today, we practiced with children of various ages. It is interesting to practice yoga on this normally busy avenue. The experience proves you can practice undisturbed even here; the curious onlookers inspire us. We welcome visitors to try this tomorrow.
"It’s a very interesting experience that you can practice yoga even in such a place, and nothing really disturbs you."
"Let them also try what it is like to exercise their right on one of Budapest’s busiest streets."

Around the world - YIDL at the Budapest Vegetarian Festival 2011
2:20 - 2:25 (5 min)
Yoga in Everyday Life is a system of practice for daily living. We demonstrate its aspects at events like the Vegetarian Festival. The practice involves paying attention to bodily sensations, which connects you to vitality carried by circulation and prāṇa. The system offers recommendations, with a vegetarian lifestyle being foremost. It is not enough to merely be vegetarian; one must also move, exercise, practice prāṇāyāma, and relax. This philosophy aims first for good health, suggesting many troubles originate from the stomach and the sense of taste. Managing this is possible through the master yoga system. Beyond physical benefits, the philosophy makes life easier, providing opportunity to find oneself and ultimately reach the Self of God, Paramātmā.
"Among these, the foremost is to maintain a vegetarian lifestyle."
"He can deal with everything if he is involved in the master yoga system."

The Forms of the Divine
2:30 - 3:02 (32 min)
Divine reality manifests in formless and formed aspects. The formless, Nirākāra, is the unseen absolute. The formed, Sākāra, is God appearing in a tangible shape, like a statue or a human body, to be worshipped. All such divine incarnations endure suffering. Humans constitute a third aspect, capable of spiritual evolution. Through disciplined practice and ethical living—peace, non-violence, and harmony—one progresses. In the current age, one must be vigilant, abstain from harmful actions, and turn inward. When the mind sincerely pleads for grace, liberation is granted.
"That God will never say that I am God. And when you think that I will be God, then you are not God."
"Do not run behind gold, but behind God."

Mind and chakras
3:45 - 4:10 (25 min)
The mind functions between the conscious and subconscious levels. The conscious state receives information through the five senses while awake. These impressions are immediately transferred to the subconscious, a storeroom of all past experiences from this life. These stored impressions generate desires, or vāsanā. Strong desires rise from the subconscious into the conscious mind. The intellect judges and defines these desires. Unfulfilled desires return to the subconscious, becoming formless and creating psychic problems. Blocking these desires is like damming a river, leading to overflow and distress. The mind must be directed, not stopped. Control the senses and limit desires to achieve peace. Balance between emotion, intellect, and consciousness is essential for a harmonious life.
"Impressions and desires are like a river flowing constantly. You should not block the river."
"Self-discipline means to direct your mind, your desires, your ambition... in that particular direction."

From darkness to the light
5:25 - 6:27 (62 min)

Bhajan evening in the Jadan Ashram
6:30 - 7:09 (39 min)
The senses are powerful and create the entire world of entanglement. The ten senses within the body are difficult for any yogi to fully master. The world is ensnared by their play, particularly by the lower senses like taste and procreation. All beings, from Brahma to animals, are bound by these senses. Their force is the great delusion that must be conquered.
"The senses are a powerful force of delusion; what has this entangled world become?"
"All beings of the world are under the control of these senses. What has this world become, so entangled?"

The promise to the divine must be fulfilled. A vow made to the Guru and the Lord is an absolute commitment that defines the spiritual path. This promise is the essence of devotion and the means to liberation. The devotee's role is to uphold this word above all else, regardless of the coming and going of other followers. The ultimate aim is to realize one's divine nature, supported by grace. Fulfilling this sacred promise is the core duty.

Bhajan evening in Jadan Ashram
8:40 - 9:02 (22 min)
The essence is the unstruck sound, the Anāhada, realized through devotion beyond form and thought. This is not an experience of the body or mind. It is beyond all attributes, beyond the forms of Rama or any shadow. It is the formless void that holds the supreme form. Neither meditation nor chanting can reach it. It is understood only through the grace of the true Guru. One must surrender at the divine feet, seeking mercy and blessings for liberation. The devotional offering is the path.
"Neither meditation nor chanting can reach it."
"Please bless me with your blessings, I request you, O Guru."

The essence is always the same
9:55 - 10:33 (38 min)
The essence of satsaṅg is transformation through timeless presence. Stories from the past contain profound teachings to be digested. Time and place dictate appropriate behavior, yet the essence of pure yoga remains constant, adapting through different eras. The teacher is always in accordance with time, yet also ahead of it. This foresight is demonstrated through precise predictions that later manifest. The required flexibility is not merely physical but of the heart and mind. Constant change transforms the disciple, akin to a worm becoming a bee, which is a necessary but difficult process. Being present in the satsaṅg's energy is a blessing, requiring no other duties. One must decide to absorb this transformative energy fully, like a wooden spoon retains honey. This energy changes individuals, society, and the environment. Physical presence is paramount; watching remotely is an incomplete experience. The teacher provides the essential current, like electricity to lighthouses or the thread in a mālā. Each disciple is given precisely what is needed to grow, whether in good soil or on stone.

The One in All and All in One
11:20 - 11:48 (28 min)
The oneness of consciousness is the foundation of yoga and existence. The endless universe, Ananta Brahmāṇḍa, emerged from Śūnyākāśa, a dark blue space containing cosmic consciousness. This consciousness resides within the universe as a child in the mother's womb, Hiraṇya Garbha. Yoga is the balancing principle creating harmony between space, consciousness, and power. It is not merely postures but the reunion of individual consciousness with the cosmic. From divine will arose the sound Aum, the form of the supreme. This resonance created the elements: fire, air, water, and earth. The one cosmic consciousness manifests in all 8.4 million creatures. Human intellect is a powerful tool that requires education in tolerance, respect, and understanding to realize human qualities and rights. Life is a cycle, a recycling or reincarnation of consciousness on the waves of time, where destiny is shaped by the self.

"Yoga is the balancing principle between space and consciousness."

Gurudeva hi Kevalam
14:00 - 14:55 (55 min)
The mind creates complex knots that only the Guru's grace can easily untie.
Human nature is drawn to negativity and overthinking, which tightens our mental knots of sadness and confusion. These difficulties come and go. We often remember the Guru only when troubled, yet constant remembrance is needed. The Guru assigns karma yoga to quiet the restless mind and remove inner obstacles. Attempting to solve our own problems often worsens them. True solution comes from surrendering the knot to the Guru, who finds the simple loop to release it. Faith in the Guru's guidance transforms seemingly complicated situations.
"A coin has two sides. We might see one side and not see the other side."
"In the same way, our sadness or the thoughts, the negative thoughts in our mind, are a simple knot. But our mind tries to untangle it, to overthink it, and just makes the situation even worse."

Practising Asanas from Vep
15:00 - 15:57 (57 min)
A yoga practice moves from stillness to dynamic movement, integrating precise alignment with collective rhythm. Begin in Śavāsana, lengthening the neck and stabilizing the lower back. Simple movements prepare the body, emphasizing synchronized group action over individual stretch. The practice progresses through leg lifts, spinal rolls, and postures like Śaśāṅkāsana, which calms fear and aids digestion. Dynamic sequences in Vajrāsana and variations like Uttānapṛṣṭhāsana strengthen the trunk and spine. A forearm Marjari variation mobilizes the thoracic spine. The session concludes with guided relaxation, allowing any comfortable position before rehydration. Synchrony and mindful breath are central throughout.
"Śaśāṅkāsana reduces the fear in our heart, the stress and fear."
"This will strengthen our whole trunk muscles. It will make the spine straight."

How to practice The System Yoga in Daily Life
16:50 - 17:59 (69 min)
Systematic practice is essential, not random exercise. Follow the book's clear structure for posture, breath, and duration. Human life involves many duties, unlike animals, but balance is key. We gather to learn, not merely to enjoy temporary comfort. Early yoga classes lacked system, causing confusion for new and advanced students alike. Therefore, a structured system from primary to university level was created. The practice is named to signify its daily application, not to claim exclusivity. The same postures exist everywhere, but the approach here is methodical and non-commercial, focused on health and universal fellowship. Practitioners worldwide connect through this shared path. Core knowledge comes from three essential books: the holy scripture, the yoga manual, and the text on hidden powers. Daily reading is vital. Practice must be consistent; avoid excuses. Even a short daily routine is crucial. The community is built on helping one another and progressing together.
"Follow our yoga book. It contains many postures, and while we may incorporate different ones in between, our practice should stay on that path."
"Practice, practice, practice as you can, but avoid laziness."

The importance of the Om Ashram
18:05 - 18:55 (50 min)
The fruit of the eyes is to behold the divine. All beings possess eyes, but their true purpose is rarely fulfilled. That purpose is achieved when one sees the Lord. This ultimate result is attained by seeing the Gurudev upon the sacred land. You are fortunate to be present in this holy ashram, using your eyes to see, your ears to hear the saints, and your voice to glorify God. This gathering yields the greatest happiness of life. You witness the fruits of decades of devotion here. A temple stands revealed, a consecration will occur, and scriptures will be spoken. Live each moment of this joy.
"Everyone has eyes, but the fruit of the eyes is given to someone."
"The result of the eyes is when you see the Lord with these eyes."

The Imperative of Daily Practice
19:35 - 20:14 (39 min)
A call to serious, daily yoga practice is essential for health and purification.
Many appear as practitioners but do not practice consistently at home, leading to physical problems. The body naturally produces vikāras (illnesses) and is dominated by the tamas and rajas guṇas. A sāttvic body, free from vikāra, must be cultivated through disciplined effort. When the body is impure, the mind and intellect become clouded with negative thoughts and dullness. This obscures one's reality. Therefore, consistent practice of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and cleansing techniques is the only means of thorough purification. Daily discipline, along with seasonal Śaṅkha Prakṣālana and weekly Kuñjalakriyā, prevents health issues. Diet must also become sāttvic, avoiding meat and eggs, while learning how and when to eat properly. The foundation is purifying āhāra (diet), vihāra (recreation), ācāra (behavior), and vicāra (thought).
"Practicing means at home, not just here. Here, you are only learning."
"When the body is not healthy, when it is full of vikāras, then the thoughts are also full of vikāras."

The Aim of Human Life, Melbourne
20:20 - 21:53 (93 min)
Swamiji introduces MM Swami Jasraj Puri and explaines in great detail what means Mahamandaleshwar and Akkhara. Ashram: A means welcome, Shram means work. Ashram means: Come to work here on your body, mind, consciousness and realisation. Space is the endless glory of God. We don't know where is the beginning or the end. We are limited. The endless space is like a mother, the cosmic consciousness. Between space and consciousness is Yoga shakti. Yoga is balancing, harmonising and uniting. God is manifested in the form of vibration, sound, resonance - OM - Everything comes from that and merges in that. Yogis are meditating on that. The aim of human life is to help, to serve, to support others and selfrealisation. The human life is a precious diamant but we will not get it again and again. Translation of the bhajan: Sadho bhai ab kyu karo the moro. Recorded in Melbourne, Australia.
Gurudev sees our past and future
22:00 - 23:16 (76 min)
The guru's grace can alter destiny and guide one beyond astrological predictions. Jyotishvidya provides a map of karmic tendencies, yet the guru's law is supreme. A story illustrates this: a seer wrote a miserable destiny for two princes. Their guru later instructed them to act against that written fate, demanding a golden deer and selling horses daily. By refusing ordinary outcomes, they compelled destiny to yield prosperity, eventually restoring their royal status. This demonstrates that the guru's instruction can rewrite life's script. Personal experience confirms that insisting against the guru's protective advice leads one into preordained suffering, while surrender brings peace. Relinquishing personal will allows the guru to orchestrate life, reducing karmic burdens. Complete surrender is true renunciation, not a loss but a natural turning toward divine joy, leaving suffering behind. The highest, permanent Ananda is found not in worldly or communal pleasure, but in this self-surrender.
"Honī koṭā sakyevo guru"—what is supposed to happen, the guru can make it go away.
"With Gurudev’s blessings, with Gurudev’s kṛpā, it doesn’t matter what you have in your destiny."

Develop your wisdom, do not steal
23:20 - 0:08 (48 min)
In the Kali Yuga, imitation is a form of theft. People steal through counterfeiting currency, pirating software, and plagiarizing books and spiritual works. Copyright systems are commercial and temporary. However, the eternal scriptures cannot be sold or truly altered. Spiritual wisdom is like milk from a cow. Many feel all the butter of knowledge has already been taken by past saints. Yet, the cow itself—your own intellect—remains. Feed it with devotion and milk it with love; you will produce the butter of discrimination. Do not merely collect quotes like a bookworm. Consume true knowledge so it becomes your own wisdom through the union of knowledge and devotion. Many neglect scriptures, leaving wisdom in the dust. Do not become a self-made master of ego. Stay in the shelter of the true teaching and good company. Lost in bad society, one loses meditation, devotion, and patience, chasing desires instead. Helping hands are greater than folded hands.
"The butter has been eaten already. Only the buttermilk remains."
"They ate only the butter; they did not eat the cow. So, milk the cow."
