Around the world - Yoga against backpain SLO
2:00 - 2:36 (36 min)
The spine's structure, function, and care through yoga are examined. The spine consists of 24 vertebrae forming the axial skeleton, protecting the spinal cord. Muscles and ligaments support posture and movement. Pain arises from acute strain or chronic issues like poor alignment and disc damage. Daily postures, such as prolonged sitting, create imbalance and excessive load, particularly on the lower lumbar vertebrae. Proper biomechanics and the hydraulic function of intervertebral discs are crucial for distributing force. A brief daily yoga practice can alleviate these issues. Gentle stretching, twisting, and strengthening āsanas, performed with awareness, relieve tension, mobilize the spine, and improve overall energy. Consistency in a short morning routine yields significant benefit.
"The spinal cord is the main highway in our body for nerve signals."
"Chronic pains are more complex. They last for months or even years."

The Forms of the Divine
2:40 - 3:12 (32 min)
Divine reality manifests in formless and formed aspects. The formless, Nirākāra, is the unseen absolute. The formed, Sākāra, is God appearing in a tangible shape, like a statue or a human body, to be worshipped. All such divine incarnations endure suffering. Humans constitute a third aspect, capable of spiritual evolution. Through disciplined practice and ethical living—peace, non-violence, and harmony—one progresses. In the current age, one must be vigilant, abstain from harmful actions, and turn inward. When the mind sincerely pleads for grace, liberation is granted.
"That God will never say that I am God. And when you think that I will be God, then you are not God."
"Do not run behind gold, but behind God."

Develop your wisdom, do not steal
3:20 - 4:08 (48 min)
In the Kali Yuga, imitation is a form of theft. People steal through counterfeiting currency, pirating software, and plagiarizing books and spiritual works. Copyright systems are commercial and temporary. However, the eternal scriptures cannot be sold or truly altered. Spiritual wisdom is like milk from a cow. Many feel all the butter of knowledge has already been taken by past saints. Yet, the cow itself—your own intellect—remains. Feed it with devotion and milk it with love; you will produce the butter of discrimination. Do not merely collect quotes like a bookworm. Consume true knowledge so it becomes your own wisdom through the union of knowledge and devotion. Many neglect scriptures, leaving wisdom in the dust. Do not become a self-made master of ego. Stay in the shelter of the true teaching and good company. Lost in bad society, one loses meditation, devotion, and patience, chasing desires instead. Helping hands are greater than folded hands.
"The butter has been eaten already. Only the buttermilk remains."
"They ate only the butter; they did not eat the cow. So, milk the cow."

The One in All and All in One
5:20 - 5:48 (28 min)
The oneness of consciousness is the foundation of yoga and existence. The endless universe, Ananta Brahmāṇḍa, emerged from Śūnyākāśa, a dark blue space containing cosmic consciousness. This consciousness resides within the universe as a child in the mother's womb, Hiraṇya Garbha. Yoga is the balancing principle creating harmony between space, consciousness, and power. It is not merely postures but the reunion of individual consciousness with the cosmic. From divine will arose the sound Aum, the form of the supreme. This resonance created the elements: fire, air, water, and earth. The one cosmic consciousness manifests in all 8.4 million creatures. Human intellect is a powerful tool that requires education in tolerance, respect, and understanding to realize human qualities and rights. Life is a cycle, a recycling or reincarnation of consciousness on the waves of time, where destiny is shaped by the self.

Mind and chakras
5:55 - 6:20 (25 min)
The mind functions between the conscious and subconscious levels. The conscious state receives information through the five senses while awake. These impressions are immediately transferred to the subconscious, a storeroom of all past experiences from this life. These stored impressions generate desires, or vāsanā. Strong desires rise from the subconscious into the conscious mind. The intellect judges and defines these desires. Unfulfilled desires return to the subconscious, becoming formless and creating psychic problems. Blocking these desires is like damming a river, leading to overflow and distress. The mind must be directed, not stopped. Control the senses and limit desires to achieve peace. Balance between emotion, intellect, and consciousness is essential for a harmonious life.
"Impressions and desires are like a river flowing constantly. You should not block the river."
"Self-discipline means to direct your mind, your desires, your ambition... in that particular direction."

The essence is the unstruck sound, the Anāhada, realized through devotion beyond form and thought. This is not an experience of the body or mind. It is beyond all attributes, beyond the forms of Rama or any shadow. It is the formless void that holds the supreme form. Neither meditation nor chanting can reach it. It is understood only through the grace of the true Guru. One must surrender at the divine feet, seeking mercy and blessings for liberation. The devotional offering is the path.

Ashram means: Come to work here on your body, mind, consciousness and realisation. Space is the endless glory of God. We don't know where is the beginning or the end. We are limited. The endless space is like a mother, the cosmic consciousness. Between space and consciousness is Yoga shakti. Yoga is balancing, harmonising and uniting. God is manifested in the form of vibration, sound, resonance - OM - Everything comes from that and merges in that. Yogis are meditating on that. The Imperative of Daily Practice
12:55 - 13:34 (39 min)
A call to serious, daily yoga practice is essential for health and purification.
Many appear as practitioners but do not practice consistently at home, leading to physical problems. The body naturally produces vikāras (illnesses) and is dominated by the tamas and rajas guṇas. A sāttvic body, free from vikāra, must be cultivated through disciplined effort. When the body is impure, the mind and intellect become clouded with negative thoughts and dullness. This obscures one's reality. Therefore, consistent practice of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and cleansing techniques is the only means of thorough purification. Daily discipline, along with seasonal Śaṅkha Prakṣālana and weekly Kuñjalakriyā, prevents health issues. Diet must also become sāttvic, avoiding meat and eggs, while learning how and when to eat properly. The foundation is purifying āhāra (diet), vihāra (recreation), ācāra (behavior), and vicāra (thought).
"Practicing means at home, not just here. Here, you are only learning."
"When the body is not healthy, when it is full of vikāras, then the thoughts are also full of vikāras."

Gurudev sees our past and future
13:40 - 14:56 (76 min)
The guru's grace can alter destiny and guide one beyond astrological predictions. Jyotishvidya provides a map of karmic tendencies, yet the guru's law is supreme. A story illustrates this: a seer wrote a miserable destiny for two princes. Their guru later instructed them to act against that written fate, demanding a golden deer and selling horses daily. By refusing ordinary outcomes, they compelled destiny to yield prosperity, eventually restoring their royal status. This demonstrates that the guru's instruction can rewrite life's script. Personal experience confirms that insisting against the guru's protective advice leads one into preordained suffering, while surrender brings peace. Relinquishing personal will allows the guru to orchestrate life, reducing karmic burdens. Complete surrender is true renunciation, not a loss but a natural turning toward divine joy, leaving suffering behind. The highest, permanent Ananda is found not in worldly or communal pleasure, but in this self-surrender.
"Honī koṭā sakyevo guru"—what is supposed to happen, the guru can make it go away.
"With Gurudev’s blessings, with Gurudev’s kṛpā, it doesn’t matter what you have in your destiny."

Morning practice from Strilky
15:00 - 16:19 (79 min)
A gentle yoga practice integrates relaxation, mindful movement, and breath awareness to cultivate strength and well-being.
Begin by relaxing the body completely, feeling its heaviness and observing the breath. Movements like Pavan Muktāsana increase circulation, particularly in the lower back and knees. Exercises such as the bicycle motion strengthen core muscles and aid coordination. Proceed through postures like Marjari and Śaśāṅkāsana to activate spinal movement and abdominal breathing. Practices including Bhujaṅgāsana and Catuṣpādāsana emphasize stretching and rotation without force, allowing the breath to guide the motion. Strengthening postures support core stability and body alignment, influencing energy and confidence. Conclude with observation of the body and breath, integrating the effects of the practice.
"Feel your whole body. Feel the heaviness of your body and be aware of your breathing."
"Try to let the movements create exhalation. Everything is gentle, but you are not lazy."

Mansik Puja, Vienna
16:25 - 17:13 (48 min)
The subject is Mānasik Pūjā, or mental worship of one's chosen deity. Many practitioners ask how to meditate effectively. Meditating on external symbols like nature can eventually feel empty. The superior practice is internal, devotional service performed within the mind. This mental ceremony nourishes the practitioner with strength and clarity. It transforms perception, allowing one to see the living presence in a sacred image, not mere stone. This feeling is essential; without it, ritual is empty. Service performed with love and imagination is an expression of inner beauty. When you act from the heart in meditation, you explore your devotion. Love contains no demands; it is self-understood. This practice is a personal secret between you and your deity. By serving mentally, you receive peace and your love reflects outward, affecting your entire day. God's light is in every heart; realizing this is true self-realization.
"Therefore, the best solution is Mānasik Pūjā. When you perform Mānasik Pūjā, the mental ceremony, you emerge from your meditation full of strength, energy, love, and clarity."
"In every heart, in every heart, God’s light is reflecting. That is called self-realization. Self means yourself. Realization is that you realize: your self, and everyone is your self."

Gurudeva hi Kevalam
17:20 - 18:15 (55 min)
The mind creates complex knots that only the Guru's grace can easily untie.
Human nature is drawn to negativity and overthinking, which tightens our mental knots of sadness and confusion. These difficulties come and go. We often remember the Guru only when troubled, yet constant remembrance is needed. The Guru assigns karma yoga to quiet the restless mind and remove inner obstacles. Attempting to solve our own problems often worsens them. True solution comes from surrendering the knot to the Guru, who finds the simple loop to release it. Faith in the Guru's guidance transforms seemingly complicated situations.
"A coin has two sides. We might see one side and not see the other side."
"In the same way, our sadness or the thoughts, the negative thoughts in our mind, are a simple knot. But our mind tries to untangle it, to overthink it, and just makes the situation even worse."

Yoga in Daily Life Workshop in Villach on 13th of June
22:15 - 23:53 (98 min)
A peaceful night and the daily routine are opportunities for spiritual awareness and unity with the divine.
Deep sleep is a state of unity beyond all worldly identities. Before sleep, offer the day's actions to God, seeking forgiveness and protection. Upon awakening, express gratitude for this protection during the state of ignorance. Greet the earth with awareness of its burden. Recognize water as the sacred element of life. The daily shower is an imitation of the sacred ablution, connecting us to nature. All elements are manifestations of the divine through which God works. Nourishment is a gift from the divine Mother. One should offer food to God before eating, transforming it into sacred sustenance. The kitchen is your pharmacy; true health comes from fresh, whole foods prepared with love and discipline. Grind spices freshly to preserve their life force and aroma. This practice supports physical health and emotional calm. Conduct, contemplation, and positive thinking are essential. Humbleness and focusing on the essential lead to realization. How one speaks and behaves towards others is fundamental; politeness opens hearts. Live simply and be content.
"In deep sleep, you know nothing of being a millionaire or a beggar. In deep sleep, you know nothing of whether you are sick or healthy."
"Your kitchen is your pharmacy. Ayurveda is in your hand. What you buy and how you cook, with love and organic whole foods and herbs, all fresh—that is Ayurveda."
