Unfulfilled desires return to the subconscious, becoming formless and creating psychic problems. Blocking these desires is like damming a river, leading to overflow and distress. The mind must be directed, not stopped. Control the senses and limit desires to achieve peace. Balance between emotion, intellect, and consciousness is essential for a harmonious life.

The true form is revealed when one meets that Person. The guru's assembly reveals the true knowledge. The body is without a country; the divine person is wondrous. One who worships in this way is absorbed in the guru.

This foresight is demonstrated through precise predictions that later manifest. The required flexibility is not merely physical but of the heart and mind. Constant change transforms the disciple, akin to a worm becoming a bee, which is a necessary but difficult process. Being present in the satsaṅg's energy is a blessing, requiring no other duties. One must decide to absorb this transformative energy fully, like a wooden spoon retains honey. This energy changes individuals, society, and the environment. Physical presence is paramount; watching remotely is an incomplete experience. The teacher provides the essential current, like electricity to lighthouses or the thread in a mālā. Each disciple is given precisely what is needed to grow, whether in good soil or on stone.

The ultimate guidance is the guru's darśana—the sight of God—which is the true wealth, not money, but the joy of spiritual connection.

We are full of resonance

All paths converge to a single essence. Different masters and gods are like separate drops that ultimately enter the ocean. From that ocean, differentiation arises again, just as water evaporates to form clouds. The purpose is to understand why some return quickly while others fall far away. A story illustrates this: seeds ground between two stones become flour, but a handful near the central hook remain complete. Those who surrender at the holy feet are like those seeds; they are not ground but come to the highest. Another story tells of a yogi saddened by slaughter; in meditation, it was revealed the karma belongs to the actors, not the witness. Satsang attendees are already there and will reach the supreme. The sound within, like the ocean's resonance, is Nādarūpa Parabrahma. This vibration is in the whole universe and within all. Do not sit passively like a dead body; respond and awaken to this sound.

The Imperative of Daily Practice

A call to serious, daily yoga practice is essential for health and purification.
Many appear as practitioners but do not practice consistently at home, leading to physical problems. The body naturally produces vikāras (illnesses) and is dominated by the tamas and rajas guṇas. A sāttvic body, free from vikāra, must be cultivated through disciplined effort. When the body is impure, the mind and intellect become clouded with negative thoughts and dullness. This obscures one's reality. Therefore, consistent practice of āsana, prāṇāyāma, and cleansing techniques is the only means of thorough purification. Daily discipline, along with seasonal Śaṅkha Prakṣālana and weekly Kuñjalakriyā, prevents health issues. Diet must also become sāttvic, avoiding meat and eggs, while learning how and when to eat properly. The foundation is purifying āhāra (diet), vihāra (recreation), ācāra (behavior), and vicāra (thought).

Interlock the thumbs and hold the feet behind the back, then rock forward and back. Practice stillness and maintain straight legs. Conclude by sitting up normally and relaxing.

The One in All and All in One

The oneness of consciousness is the foundation of yoga and existence. The endless universe, Ananta Brahmāṇḍa, emerged from Śūnyākāśa, a dark blue space containing cosmic consciousness. This consciousness resides within the universe as a child in the mother's womb, Hiraṇya Garbha. Yoga is the balancing principle creating harmony between space, consciousness, and power. It is not merely postures but the reunion of individual consciousness with the cosmic. From divine will arose the sound Aum, the form of the supreme. This resonance created the elements: fire, air, water, and earth. The one cosmic consciousness manifests in all 8.4 million creatures. Human intellect is a powerful tool that requires education in tolerance, respect, and understanding to realize human qualities and rights. Life is a cycle, a recycling or reincarnation of consciousness on the waves of time, where destiny is shaped by the self.

This posture must be performed at the beginning and end of every session. Next, train in abdominal breathing by placing a hand on the abdomen and observing its movement. Conscious abdominal breathing leads to relaxation and improves circulation. Practice stretching the body by extending the limbs in rhythm with the breath. This releases accumulated tension. Perform head turns and twists while lying down to increase spinal mobility and harmonize the breath. Always observe the effect of each exercise. Move through shoulder exercises while standing to relax and strengthen the joints. Shift body weight from leg to leg to strengthen muscles and improve balance. Conclude by returning to Ānanda Āsana.
