Meditation

Recorded on
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from Cherkasy, Ukraine. Every human has an individual choice. We have to come to our destination on our own. The Soul is searching for the destination. Meditation comes from itself. When you meditate, you are one with yourself. The dream is your reality, to know the moment of falling asleep is the first step in meditation. Practicing meditation with Vishwaguruji.
The sleep makes you healthy
2:25 - 2:43 (18 min)
Recorded on
We must understand the essence of sleep and awareness. You should know how you sleep. When you sleep, that is not your true Self. Your entire body is present in your heart, as if offered to God. Proper sleep is one of three states; without it, you have a problem. People seek medicine, but this does not bring true peace. You must come to it yourself. When you lie down, obstacles from the day can prevent complete rest. Those who sleep well have peace. In deep sleep, you seem to go far, but you are not inside your sleeping body. You may find yourself in another country; consciousness moves instantly from there to here. This activity is centered in the heart and emerges through the navel. In that state, it is as if one dies, but you have not died. As long as you have the navel, you make everything, and then you can go completely out of the body. Sleep deeply to be present everywhere in the whole body. This rest restores energy, peace, and harmony. Sleep makes you happy and healthy again. There are two aspects: going out here and there in dreams, and being relaxed while the body works automatically. This relates to what is done in yoga nidrā. In that sleep, you are relaxed and okay. You are out of the body in that state. This is what we must do. "We are sleeping, but that is not us." "In that state, one dies; we object, we die. But you have not died." We should develop positive qualities
2:50 - 3:54 (64 min)
Recorded on
Perfection requires practice, not just theory. There are two types of masters: one who speaks and one who acts through dedicated practice. True meditation is not merely closing one's eyes; it requires the focused commitment of lagan, akin to love that overcomes all distance. On the path, many obstacles arise, serving as the best school. Do not seek glory from the crowd; true friends are few. Dharma—our duty and discipline—protects those who protect it. It manifests in relationships: between parent and child, husband and wife. Protection is mutual; safeguarding others safeguards yourself. Dharma, patience, a true friend, and a faithful partner are revealed in terrible times when all others oppose you. Without these, meditation is impossible due to mental disturbances, the vikāras: greed, insatiable desire, fickleness, and thievery of mind, word, and deed, including intellectual property. Stealing a master's teachings without acknowledgment creates bad karma. All true masters are connected like branches of one tree. Honesty and mercy are the roots of dharma; pride is the root of sin. Purify these first; then meditation can come. "Tons of theory is nothing compared with a grain of practice." "If you protect the dharma, the dharma will protect you." The Paths and Practices of Haṭha Yoga
5:50 - 6:20 (30 min)
Recorded on
We explore Haṭha Yoga's definitions and practices. Yoga has many names and paths. Patañjali's system outlines primary yogas like Karma and Bhakti. Haṭha Yoga is often explained through four types of will: child's, woman's, king's, and yogi's determination. Another definition is the union of "Ha" (Iḍā channel) and "Tha" (Suṣumṇā channel), balancing energy. Classically, its core practices are six cleansing techniques, not the postures commonly taught today. These techniques, like Netī, prepare the nervous system. Practice begins on the left side to calm the mind via the moon channel. This purification of channels is essential before advanced meditation. All yogic paths engage these energy channels. "Ha represents Iḍā and Tha represents Suṣumṇā. When Ha and Tha come into balance and meet, that union is called Yoga." "Always begin with the left nostril. We first awaken, purify, and warm this nāḍī." Filming location: Vép, Hungary
We will bring that divine light
6:25 - 7:13 (48 min)

Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. India is the store of knowledge and that knowledge reflects to the whole world. Vishwaguruji brought the pure essence of that knowledge to Europe. The knowledge of India belongs to everyone. There are people who are good speakers and there are others who really know the things hoew are they. Vishwaguruji is a combination of them. Practise and follow the words of our Master. Many people have only very limited knowledge about yoga in India also. Yoga brings different people to oneness. The story of Arjuna and the gopies. It is important to do our sadhana otherwise we become weak. The mantra is the essence of all energies and knowledge. We gained the light with our mantra. This light can change hell to heaven. The story of Mahamandaleswar Swami Vivekpuriji's younger age.

We seek purity
8:00 - 8:11 (11 min)
Recorded on
We are called to purity in the Kali Yuga. This age is powerful and far-reaching. I observe a trend of darkness, like black attire and cars, advancing everywhere. In contrast, the teachings and bhajans given embody a clear and beautiful purity. I urge devotees not to be black, though some identify with it. Others declare they are the pure 'pū'. This 'pū' is the moment of receiving a pure drop from God, refusing all other water, even from a vast ocean. We must proceed with this aspiration. In our singing and being, we must be very pure and clean, declaring "I am." That sound of "I am" is purity itself. Our true state is revealed by looking to God within. Peace arrives not in time, but at life's end. "Please do not be black, please do not be black." "I am, I am." Filming location: Vienna, Austria
Yoga treatment for panic attacks
8:15 - 9:07 (52 min)
Recorded on
Our path bestows the blessings of clarity and energy, essential for spiritual progress. Ordinary life feels like a bad boxing match, receiving punches that knock you down. We have the great fortune to meet the real source of light, receiving periodic infusions of energy and clarity to rise again. Prāṇāyāma is a powerful tool we often underuse. For instance, understanding Svara Yoga can resolve sleep issues by balancing nostril flow. Panic attacks relate to low energy and a sense of loss tied to identity, but the experience comes from the breath. Shallow, stressed breathing signals the brain of trouble, creating a suffocation feeling. The full Yoga breath, deep and slow, counters this by signaling safety. Deep Prāṇāyāma involves awareness of the pelvic diaphragm, a storehouse for stress; feeling its expansion and release retrains the brain and releases deep tension. Our system provides more than technique; it offers a source of spiritual knowledge and energy. A key psychological issue is a lack of proper self-boundaries, formed from childhood patterns. Self-inquiry meditation cleans these automatisms, allowing you to observe thoughts from a higher, objective point. This clarity, especially of the outward-facing part of the intuitive center, significantly improves life's quality. We recharge by connecting to this source of wisdom and energy. "With Prāṇāyāma, both [clarity and energy] are in our hands." "By cleaning at least one part we clean, and then our life is really jumping to a much higher quality." We are never old for yoga
10:05 - 10:18 (13 min)
Recorded on
This weekend seminar provided a spiritual vaccination against the influences of Kali Yuga. The main reason for our vegetarian practice is ahiṃsā paramodharma, non-violence as the highest principle, not merely health. Kali Yuga's influence enters through small deviations, like a mouse, which symbolize spiritual inflation from minor compromises. We must learn to say "no" to ourselves, as these small concessions can lead to being caught unawares. A yogi is like aged ghee, improving with time; we are never too old for sādhanā. The value comes from sustained practice over decades. We received an injection this weekend, but must continue practicing to strengthen our spiritual immune system. Soon, we will open the Om Ashram. It is crucial we arrive in good spiritual condition, not just physical, to truly open our hearts. Our perspective on everything—food, practice, the ashram—creates a subtle but transformative difference in our spiritual life. "Just like today, we don't need to explain, 'I don't eat humans.'" "Inflation in the spiritual world means you make a small deviation; for example, you say, 'No, I don't eat this, but at least I smell it.'" Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Pure nourishment
10:25 - 11:14 (49 min)
Recorded on
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. We should not destroy the whole plant in order to eat it and should support sattva guna - the quality of harmony and balance. The joy of life is to awaken the knowledge of what it means to be a human. Vishwaguruji explains that Yoga Nidra should be practiced as a meditation: travelling in our inner space.
We are going for oneness
11:20 - 12:08 (48 min)
Recorded on
The path is to transcend duality and realize oneness. Yoga means to unite with the cosmic. We are temporary, like a bubble, but the ātmā within is eternal light, like the sun. Do not think "only I am"; countless beings exist within one. All paths move toward merging, like drops into the ocean. If you see only "I," you create darkness. Our joy here is not the final joy. We must go with the wind of oneness, not against it, or we break. Do not cling to country, money, or ego; we return to dust. What goes with the ātmā is purity and light. Constantly remember the guru's name—"Gurudev"—this connects you to the divine light. Researching externally is being lost; the true search is within, for the guru within. All forms and mantras lead to the one. Hold to that one thread. "One in all and all in one." "Gurudev, Gurudev, Gurudev. Constantly, we are hooked with our Gurudev." The Sun Shines in the Kingdom of God: On Habit, Mind, and the Kośas
12:15 - 13:06 (51 min)
Recorded on
Habit becomes your second nature. Our program purifies the body's impurities. The nourishment you consume shapes your mind and energy. The company you keep colors your habits. A repeated habit solidifies into your nature, like addiction, where the substance controls you. A story illustrates this: a man jumps into a river for a coat, but the coat—a bear—catches him. He cannot free himself. Similarly, bad habits trap you. You find time for them but not for good acts like meditation. The mind governs the five senses, taking impressions into the subconscious, creating lasting memories. The mind is a reflection, like your face in a mirror; you clean the mirror, but the spot is on your face. You must correct the source, not the reflection. The five sheaths (kośas) are layers around the soul: the physical body, energy, mind, intellect, and bliss. Attachment (mamatā) is the cause of suffering, a hook that catches you. To be free, give without expectation. Master your mind, habits, desires, and hopes to find liberation. "Whatever kind of habit you have, after a while, that will become your nature." "The mind is the reflection. Or in the pond, in the water pond, very nice, clean, and very still water. You look, and your face is inside. But it's only a reflection." The basics of ancient Indian philosophy
13:10 - 13:20 (10 min)
Recorded on
The eternal Self is the foundation beyond material science. I demonstrate an object that does not get wet or burn, symbolizing the immutable ātmā, the true Self. This wisdom of the Self, taught through Sanātana Dharma, Āyurveda, and Yoga, is not a discovered science but a revealed wisdom from ancient sages. Calling it 'science' creates difficulty, as Western authorities demand evidence they can recognize. Historical invasions led to the burning of repositories like Takṣaśilā, and colonial powers altered texts, disrupting the traditional evidence base. We are a community of compassion and ahiṃsā. Consider organ transplants: recipients sometimes adopt new habits from the donor. Research investigates this change. The explanation lies in prāṇa. Secondary prāṇas, like one retained after death, carry impressions. The final prāṇa holds the body together until released by cremation's agni. "Science is something that you discover. Science is where you discover wisdom; you don't discover this." "We cannot give them evidence because the evidence was burnt when Islam came into India." Filming location: Vienna, Austria

We can change the world together
16:15 - 17:11 (56 min)

Awareness of what we consume is crucial for health and unity. Many are unknowingly eating insects, which is harmful. This is not just a local issue but a global one, spreading even to places like India. Consuming such things can cause serious health problems, including blockages in the body, as we lack the enzyme to break them down. It can lead to diseases like cancer. Regulations may require labeling, but loopholes exist, especially in restaurants. The best defense is to cook at home using known, raw ingredients. We must be vigilant about what enters our bodies, as foreign substances, even from food, can influence our system. Our collective strength lies in unity and enduring commitment to sattvic living. By making conscious choices and supporting each other, we can protect our health and effect change. "Eating these worms is not bad only for our spiritual path. But it can cause serious health problems." "The best food for our health is no-label food. Prepare your bread, prepare your chapati." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Awakening of muladhar
17:15 - 17:57 (42 min)
Recorded on
Chakras are energy centers where consciousness resides, defining character and problems. Your destiny (prārabdha) is created by past karma before your body forms. You control your present karma through action, speech, thought, and influence, but once acted upon, deeds become destiny governing future life and all current problems. The Mūlādhāra Chakra is the root foundation of consciousness based on that karma. It is the earth element, colored red for energy and Mother Consciousness. Its awakening brings safety, wisdom, and pleasurable energy, not physical sensations. The chakra's symbols include a four-petaled lotus representing the four ways life enters the world, an elephant symbolizing wisdom and prosperity, an inverted triangle for energy flow, and a coiled snake representing past, present, and future karmas—the dormant Kuṇḍalinī Śakti. Śiva (consciousness) and Śakti (nature) seek union here. Exercises like Bhujaṅgāsana and Śalabhāsana activate this chakra, strengthening the back and influencing the root center for physical and mental balance. "As long as you are not doing anything, it is still under your control." "The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī means wisdom. You become very wise, you become self-confident."
