Vegetarian food is good for prevention against covid
0:20 - 1:06 (46 min)
Recorded on
Good evening. We had a beautiful day of practice. Tomorrow, you will have a free half-day after breakfast to walk in the forest in groups. Otherwise, do your own exercises. Integrate the lectures and practices into your heart and mind. The trees here give great energy; breathe deeply. The food here contains prāṇa. We should eat food that makes the body healthy, happy, and pure. Our gathering is limited in size, but it allows a relaxed feeling without daily chores. A study was shared involving over 7,000 participants across six countries. It found those on plant-based diets at least one year prior had less severe COVID-19 outcomes. This shows vegetarianism is good for health, the environment, and humanity. True yoga practice includes a vegetarian diet, avoiding alcohol and meat, fostering peace and love for all creatures. "Plant-Based Diet, Pescetarian Diet and COVID-19 Severity: A Population-Based Case-Control Study in Six Countries." "Vegetarian is not just good for yourself, it is good for the environment and entire humanity." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The value of Satsang
1:10 - 1:55 (45 min)
Recorded on
The great mantra is Hari Om, where Om is Hari and Hari is Om, encompassing the resonance of Brahmā, Śiva, and Viṣṇu. The earth was brought from the cosmic waters and is now sustained upon Śeṣanāga. Ego persists even after long austerity, as shown by the sage Viśvāmitra who sought a title through conflict. He offered 72,000 years of tapasyā to Vasiṣṭha, who offered one minute of satsaṅg in return. To judge which was greater, they were directed to Śeṣanāga, who bears the earth. When asked to relieve his burden for the fruits of the satsaṅg, the earth rose; it did not move for the 72,000 years of tapasyā. Thus, true devotion surpasses prolonged practice. Human life requires sincere sādhanā to purify consciousness and attain liberation. "Are you blind? You don't see the judgment? For one minute of satsaṅg, the whole earth raised up, and when it was 72,000 sādhanās, that was not moving." "If you give pleasant to all... then suk diya, sukha hothe. If you are giving troubles to others, you will also get a trouble." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
There is nothing higher than the Guru
2:00 - 2:43 (43 min)
Recorded on
The Guru is the supreme principle, greater than all gods. Even divine incarnations like Rāma and Kṛṣṇa had gurus and attended school, upholding this principle. God is one and present in every grain and cell, yet to know this and understand how to live and work, one needs the guru. The guru is not merely a physical body but the eternal name and the imparting source of all knowledge, from spiritual wisdom to practical skills like riding a horse. Without a guru, there is no progress; even perfect students require a teacher for certification. The guru principle is the highest authority, to which even Śiva, Viṣṇu, and Brahmā are subordinate. A true Satguru is complete Brahman, the source from which all completeness arises. Those who fail to recognize the real Satguru suffer through ages, while the guru's grace can transform poison into nectar. The guru may appear in humble forms, like a hardworking parent, not only in meditation. Ultimately, one must surrender fully to the guru. "Who is greater than Bhagavān Rāma and Kṛṣṇa? They too must have a guru." "Guru Brahma, Guru Viṣṇu, Guru Devo Maheśvarāha, Guru Sākṣāt Parabrahma, Tasmai Śrī Guru Ve Namaḥa." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Instructions for successful kriyja anusthan
2:50 - 3:23 (33 min)
Recorded on
The foundations of a healthy life are found in yoga, astrology, and proper nourishment. We live in Kali Yuga, a time foretold in scripture. Jyotiṣa, or Vedic astrology, is a precise science of constellations that determines our nature from birth, influencing health, marriage, and life path. Yoga aligns with these constellations. Practice involves physical exercises, breath control, and mental relaxation for lifelong health, but must be personalized. Nourishment is equally critical; we must be mindful of what, when, and how much we eat and drink. Various medical systems exist, like Āyurveda and allopathy, each with its approach. True well-being integrates disciplined practice, suitable nourishment, and spiritual awareness, using our God-given faculties to choose our path wisely. "Jyotiṣa asks, 'What is that which is 100% sure?'" "True beauty is the heart, the feelings, and the match together." Filming location: Bari Khatu, Rajasthan, India
Sunset and sunrise
3:25 - 3:58 (33 min)
Recorded on
This is the sacred time of Sandhyā, the junction between day and night. It is a divine period for oneness, where negative thoughts and actions like hunting must cease. Morning's Prabhāta is similarly respected. Householders have structured times for sādhanā, eating, and prayer, while a sannyāsī possesses more freedom, awake in Yoga Nidrā when others sleep. We must honor the sun's cycles. Yet, many observe festivals only for entertainment, losing the spiritual core. The distinction between householders and renunciates is practical, but ego in claiming superiority must be avoided. We are one in essence. God's door is open to all, but householders are given specific prayer times like Sandhyā, while sādhus may approach anytime. Human activity, like rainforest destruction, shows disregard for this sacred connection with all life. "At this time of Sandhyā, one should never entertain any kind of negative thoughts, negative thinking, or anything negative." "God said, 'No. I give freedom, and my door is completely open, wide open. Everyone can come.'" Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

A Gathering of Hearts
5:05 - 6:30 (85 min)
Recorded on
We have gathered in a beautiful, disciplined seminar, gaining spiritual knowledge and experience. Our global Yoga in Daily Life family practices with humility, kindness, and respect, creating a divine atmosphere together. Spirituality means purity, ahimsa, and inner practices to realize the divine elements within us. It is not about claiming superiority but fostering brotherhood, making our community like one village. We must engage heart-to-heart with the wider world, visiting local shops and sharing fellowship, which is the real yoga of union. As you return home, carry forward this spirit of humility and kindness, sharing the knowledge that we are all one. "If we can teach humanity happiness, joy, respect, and brotherhood, there will be no problems in the world." "Spirituality does not come only from any single teacher. You all bring that divine atmosphere." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Educate your children spiritualy
6:35 - 8:01 (86 min)
Recorded on
Morning satsang with Vishwaguruji from Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. We should eat less not to be too sleepy. Many people sleep during kryja anusthan meditation. If you eat less your life will be longer and you will be more healthy. Many things changed in the education of children. In the beginning, many people went to yoga in Chechoslovakia. Slowly the whole Yoga in Daily Life system built. Before marrying boys and girls have to eat very sattvic meals to purify her body. Parents should educate their children about spirituality. Young couples would see Jyotish to decide in which constellation would be married. Humans shouldn't kill at all. Up to now, very many people became vegetarian in Europe also. Practising sarva hita asanas and ptanayama.
Rules and regulations are important
8:05 - 8:56 (51 min)
Recorded on
Morning Satsang with Vishwaguruji, Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. When you are angry, greedy and jealous it touches the Manipur chakra, and heat rises up. The words of the master help us to overcome some psychological conditions. It is very important to keep the four principles: proper behaviour, a good way of thinking, proper diet, and good actions.
God is in everyone
9:00 - 9:43 (43 min)
Recorded on
The path of knowledge requires the guru's grace and lifelong learning. Śaṅkarācārya established the path and centers for this knowledge. Learning is not for one day; it is a whole life. There are two kinds of knowledge: external learning and the inner knowledge received from the guru. The foundational knowledge comes first from the mother and father. The world should be with the father and mother's words. One should stay near the parents. Family separation causes loss. Our practice teaches peace and harmony to move toward God. God is in everyone. All creatures are one. Our practice involves kriyā dīkṣā through the cakras. The ultimate aim is to come out of the cakras, to rise above them and know yourself further. "Learning is not for one day; it is a whole year. Similarly, Śaṅkarācārya jī learned and gave great knowledge." "Come out of the cakras. Do not think cakra, cakra, cakra. It means to know yourself further, to rise above the cakras." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Nada is the Sound
9:00 - 9:49 (49 min)
Recorded on
The Supreme is the primordial sound-form. The first reality was infinite space and silence, from which the first sound, Nāda, emerged. This sound is the essence of all creation, preceding even the deities. The number zero represents this eternal, formless source; from it, the nine digits cycle endlessly, mirroring the cycles of existence. This sound is not external but resides within all things—in seeds, leaves, and our own bodies. True consciousness, Chetana, is awake but without desire, unlike our human state. Creation unfolds from sound into light, then air, fire, and water, which together generate life. Our being is composed of five sheaths, from the physical to the intellectual, yet our core vitality is Prāṇa. Prāṇa is divine; it is life itself. Without it, energy departs. Water is also life, and thus divine. We must listen inwardly to understand this sound, which is the Supreme. Our practice, like Yoga Nidrā, leads us to perceive these truths directly. "Without that sound, we cannot be." "Prāṇa is God." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Be the Lion
9:50 - 10:33 (43 min)
Recorded on
Welcome to all who have journeyed from afar. You have traveled a great distance. Where there is love and divine feeling, there is no distance; it is always close. This center now serves for spiritual practice. A story is shared about a disciple whose guru asked for a living lion as an offering. The disciple brought the lion and was told he himself would be the lion from then on. Another story tells of a king who served his guru unconditionally, even fetching lion's milk for him. These are not mere stories but realities illustrating the relationship between guru and disciple. The disciple's role is to accomplish the task, while the guru's role is to speak it. Your collective effort in preparing this place is a similar testament. Do not be like the fox who dismisses unreachable grapes as sour. The relationship is like a pot being shaped: firm on the outside but soft and protected within. A seed has been planted; with time, it will grow into a great tree bearing much fruit. "Bring the lion and put it in front of me, living. Then I will give you mantra dīkṣā." "Only two lips move, but others have to work and do what to do." Filming location: Slovenia
Soul is One
10:35 - 11:47 (72 min)
Recorded on
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from weekend Yoga Seminar in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. We are all like paras. We can create good qualities in others. When paras touch the iron it becomes gold. Guru is more than paras, Guru can transform the disciple into Guru. If not, either Gurudev is not right, either there is a distance between the Master and disciple. The physical body is called annamaya kosa, while the energy body is called pranamaya kosa. Water is water in each of the forms. Similarly, Soul is one.
Flowing of prana and consciousness
11:55 - 13:01 (66 min)
Recorded on
The body must be kept akhaṇḍa—unbroken—for the free flow of prāṇa through its 72,000 nerves. Damage, like tattoos or wounds, creates leaks in this energy system. A story illustrates this: a king with a thigh wound was rejected as a ritual sacrifice because his body was not pristine. The central energy channel, Suṣumnā, is supported by Vajranāḍī, which governs immunity and is stimulated by postures like Vajrāsana. The body's many energy centers, or chakras, are mapped from the feet (earth) to above the head (divine). The awakening of Kuṇḍalinī energy from the Mūlādhāra Chakra is inherently safe and cannot be harmful. Parents shape a child through three foods: physical nourishment, ideally vegetarian; mental input from the senses; and the inculcation of qualities like truth and compassion. Establishing a daily routine of early rising, evacuation, exercise, and balanced meals creates a foundation for health and proper energy flow. "Therefore, we have to take care of our body so that we do not have any damage or wounds on it." "Parents have a very, very important role in how the child grows up. That is the time when we feed information into that system." Filming location: Vép, Hungary
What Guru Purnima means?
13:05 - 13:55 (50 min)
Recorded on
The essence of Guru Pūrṇimā is honoring the principle of the teacher. The Guru is supreme, even above the divine trinity. Anything that imparts knowledge is a guru, from parents to animals. The true Satguru does not proclaim the title; it is received. The guru paramparā, the lineage, flows from Śiva through successive masters. A sannyāsī leaves the family yet has a duty to help all. One must work in the world while following spiritual practice. The guru gives the disciple a key, a staff, and a duty. Guru Pūrṇimā is the full moon, representing completeness. We worship the guru to become complete. "Gurur Brahmā, Gurur Viṣṇu, Gurur Devo Maheśvara, Gurur Sākṣāt Parabrahmā." "A true Satguru will not say, 'I am the Satguru.'" Our children are very spiritual
14:00 - 14:53 (53 min)
Recorded on
Morning satsang with Vishwaguruji from Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. Children are very disciplined during the programs because their parents educated them towards spirituality. Vishwaguruji teaches many generations of yoga people. Sri Devpuriji appeared in some places at the same time. Holiguruji told many stories to Visheówaguruji in his childhood about Devpuriji and Mahaprabuji. Vishwaguruji realized the prediction of Devpuriji. We don't know where the seed will grow. Reading holy books every day new knowledge comes. The story of an Indian man who issued a newspaper in India and travelled with Viwshwaguruji in Europe. Knowledge takes the human healthy and happy. We should give further the knowledge of our forefathers to our children. The first university was in India. There were very many books but Muslims burnt them. God gives eating everybody in the world. Little more information about the first university in the world was in India.
Around The World - Vegetarianism and top sport, Part 2
15:00 - 15:33 (33 min)
Recorded on
Vegetarian athletes discuss overcoming cultural skepticism to achieve high performance through plant-based diets. Initial motivations differ, with one citing yoga's ethical principle of non-violence and the other seeking a competitive edge in sports. Both faced doubt, especially regarding protein for muscle development or endurance. They explain that plant foods provide all necessary nutrients, but require specific knowledge to combine ingredients like legumes and grains for complete proteins. The environment presents a mental barrier, with a prevailing belief that meat is essential for strength, which they counter with personal results. Diet is highly tailored to their sports: bodybuilding focuses on muscle mass, while endurance sports like triathlon prioritize efficient energy use and recovery. They emphasize mindful eating, noting how food affects acidity, energy, and digestion during training. Discipline and listening to the body are crucial, as is the mindset that transforms training into a joyful, inspired practice beyond mere competition. "Vegetarian nutrition was simply a continuation. That ethical aspect of vegetarianism, non-violence, developed later." "People have a kind of sneer, like, 'No, well, look, after all, if you are vegetarian, then you won’t be able to reach that level.'" Filming location: Zagreb, Croatia
Proudness
15:40 - 16:32 (52 min)
Recorded on
The ego of a devotee is cured by divine grace through humility. Even great beings can develop pride in their service. Hanumān once believed Rāma's victory depended entirely on him. Earlier, Garuḍa also lost faith after rescuing Rāma from a snake-arrow, thinking God needed his help. Garuḍa, in despair, was told only the crow-sage Kakabhuśuṇḍī could cure him. As Garuḍa approached, hearing the sage's discourse restored his devotion, and he saw even the gods listening. To cure Hanumān's pride, Rāma sent him to deliver a ring to a sage in the Himalayas. The sage told Hanumān to throw it into a pond, which was filled with identical rings from every divine incarnation. Hanumān then understood his role was not unique but part of an eternal cycle, curing his ego. "Hanumānjī became proud. He thought, 'If I were not, Rāma would not be successful.'" "Hanumān, don’t be proud. Don’t think that through your help, Rāma was victorious... It was a test for you." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
We should know where our soul is
16:35 - 17:14 (39 min)
Recorded on
The time has come for people to return to their heart, not seeking outside. Yoga practice is increasing globally, with many focusing on physical exercises, prāṇāyāma, and meditation. It is advised not to share personal details of practitioners. A shift towards vegetarianism and veganism is noted, reflecting a return to compassion. Ancient teachings describe purer times with less harm to animals, contrasting with current behaviors. The present age is marked by conflict between harming and loving animals. Spiritual development requires humility, kindness, and peace. The eternal soul departs the body at death, continuing its journey. A disciple's passing is acknowledged, highlighting his service and the community's prayers for his liberation. Spiritual connection transcends physical separation. "They are becoming vegetarian, or even more, what we call vegan." "Please pray with us that it may reach the ultimate liberation and unite with the highest Self." Spirituality in daily life
18:00 - 18:26 (26 min)
Recorded on
Spirituality is the purity of our inner self, obscured by three obstacles. Mala is impurity in action and thought, like dust on a mirror. Mental pollution, often from money, leads to harmful deeds. Vikṣepa are disturbances—worries and waves of thought that hide our calm core. Reducing external stimuli through retreat, sleep, and observing thoughts without attachment can calm these waves. Āvaraṇa is the curtain of ignorance, a thick layer separating us from our true nature. Reading liberating wisdom and cultivating love, kindness, and forgiveness helps remove this veil. Happiness is a universal reality; spiritual practice leads us there. "Spirituality means purity. Crystal clear, pure. This purity refers to our ātmā, our inner self." "Every creature wishes to attain happiness and to overcome unhappiness. Because that happiness is a universal principle, it is your real reality." Filming location: Perth, Australia

The beauty of yoga nidra
19:35 - 20:48 (73 min)
Recorded on
Morning satsang with Vishwaguruji from Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. We can realize the proper time of something by Jyotish and by the actual strength of our ida and pingala nadis. In the morning we should think first that we are human. It means I should not do wrong things for others. Nidra means half sleep and half awaken. There are three statuses aware sleep and dream. When you drive a car you have to be always awakened. In yoga nidra there are all three situations. We came from the earth we live in the earth and we shall go to the earth. We need a Guru to give us instructions and taking care of us if we do something wrong. Yoga is that force that consciousness that driver which leads our car which is our body.
Mind and desires
20:55 - 21:47 (52 min)
Recorded on
A mantra is about controlling the restless mind and its desires to find liberation. The mind is like a football in a game; you cannot hold or control it. Desires are the ball itself. As long as desire exists, the mind cannot be focused or stilled. A story illustrates this: a shepherd, with a guru's guidance, controls a camel through gesture and suggestion, not a physical rope, showing how the mind can be bound by illusion. True freedom requires moving beyond hope and thirst, which are illusions like a mirage. The ultimate goal is knowledge that sees through these reflections. Liberation comes not from killing the body but from ending desire and hope within the mind. "Man marā, nāmamātrī marī, mar mar gayā śarīr, aisā tṛṣṇā nahīṅ gaī, ghe gayā Dasā Kabīr." "Man marā na mamatā marī, marā marā gayā śarīr, āśā tṛṣṇā nahī marī, kehe gayā Dāsa Kabīr." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Who am I?
21:55 - 22:43 (48 min)
Recorded on
Life is breath, and its duration is pre-written; we cannot ultimately prolong it, though practices can make our time comfortable. Breath is life, present in all creatures. Yoga includes physical exercises and breath techniques for the body, but these are just the beginning. While such practices support well-being, our lifespan is fixed. Even medicine cannot alter the moment the soul departs. A story tells of a rishi who sought endless delays to study, but Dharmaraja finally showed him that the task was as infinite as counting the sands of the Himalayas, illustrating that the appointed time must come. Therefore, we practice to live comfortably within our given span, respecting the five elements within us, and prepare for the journey beyond the body. "Our breath is day and night equally, and it is written how many breaths we will have; then it is finished." "Even God cannot prolong. That’s it." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Every drop will merge with the ocean
22:50 - 23:37 (47 min)
Recorded on
Devotion manifests through humble service, not through the ego's claim of action. In the story of the bridge, all creatures contributed according to their capacity; the divine's direct intervention sank the stones, teaching that grace flows through surrendered work, not personal ownership. The physical space here is sanctified by the presence of a great guru, whose power remains. His instruction for a shared Guru Pūrṇimā was a direct transmission of grace. The essence of all true teachings is humility and universality. The sun shines for all; possessive identification with "my guru" or "my God" is a limited, human construct. Great beings like Rāma and Jesus exemplified this humility. Spiritual practice aims to merge the individual drop into the ocean of purity, where all impurities are cleansed. The path requires looking beyond immediate obstacles toward the vast horizon of unity. The final test is always compassion, as shown when Yudhiṣṭhira refused heaven without his loyal dog. Our collective sitting in satsaṅg generates this unifying energy, which is the real practice beyond mere technique. "My dear squirrel, my dear squirrel, I love you so much. You also do high work." "If someone gives you a slap on one cheek, you should offer the other also." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
