Building the Ashram
2:30 - 3:05 (35 min)
Recorded on
This is our ashram, a place of being and bliss. We are all here together, sitting with sādhus and yogīs, and it is very good. The essence must be in our body. An ashram is our home. Understanding comes from above, from God to mother to human. It arrives directly, like from Akkar to Nābhi. Even a mother may not know how it comes, but it is our prophet. God is the only one and will become human. If humans belong to India, then all children are equal. That one will enter God, will enter the body. We must care for the human mind. We are here, and we will do the work. In construction, one must think about how people feel inside. A building is not just a roof; it should be pleasant. The best materials are natural, like wood and straw, which support humans. Materials modified by humans, like bricks and lime, are good. Stones like sandstone are neutral, but granite harms the body. Modern materials like steel and concrete are dead and not healthy. We follow Vāstu Śāstra, the science of building, so the earth supports everyone living there. We use lime, not just cement, for healthier buildings. Wood is the best material and can be used for multi-story buildings and large halls. "This is our ashram; this is our ashram. And when you see it, oh, it is very nice." "The best materials are natural, like wood and straw, which support humans." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

How to keep our purity
5:05 - 5:29 (24 min)
Recorded on
The human being contains a fundamental purity. We are diverse and cannot all become one, yet we are ourselves. Many people eat meat and are going down, but here we are pure. Open your eyes in the morning and see only "I am human." The earth is pure, and pure water comes from above. Within the vast ocean of existence, something very pure comes from within us, like a crystal. In sleep, we travel far from ourselves, yet return quickly. This inner experience is the purity we call a yogī. Our eyes are very powerful; we must be clear and controlled with them. Those who eat purely are very good. You do not need to know my name; it is inside. We have done work to maintain purity so others may not spoil it. "Open your eyes in the morning, so when we are just open. And so, when we open our eyes, then we see only, 'I am human.'" "And so, whatever it is with us, it is your beautiful best, all that is the purity. So that is what we call a yogī." Gurudev bring us to your shelter
5:35 - 6:07 (32 min)
Recorded on
The mantra is a prayer glorifying the Grandmaster and requesting his shelter. Oṁ is the universe's beginning, middle, and end. "Namaḥ" means "I offer respects," often sung as "namo." "Śrī" signifies respect. "Prabhu" means God. "Dīpa" means light. "Nārāyaṇa" is a name for God, specifically Viṣṇu. Thus, the first part greets the respected God, the light Nārāyaṇa. The second part is a request. "Hama saba" means "we all." "Dāsa" means servant. "Śaraṇa" means shelter, and "pārāyaṇa" means we come or are in that shelter. The full meaning is a greeting and a plea for protection. Additional lines praise him as the purest, the giver of great happiness, and the destroyer of all suffering. The highest happiness is self-realization, not fleeting pleasures. He is merciful and protects his devotees. Being a devotee is not blind following; it means practicing the teachings, like yoga in daily life. "Oṁ, greetings to the respected God, the light Nārāyaṇa. We are all servants of God; we take shelter in you." "He is so merciful that he helps us emerge from the mess we create with our countless desires." Filming location: Vienna, Austria
What does Yoga in Daily Life mean?
6:15 - 6:41 (26 min)
Recorded on
This is the day of oneness, the middle point in our sādhanā. We must practice every year and go forward, not back. Yoga in Daily Life began from Czechoslovakia and has spread worldwide; it is for all. Our sādhanā comes from Ālagpurījī and Devpurījī, through Holy Gurujī and Mahāprabhujī. Holy Gurujī gave me this chair, which is from God. Sitting here signifies oneness. We are to become gurus, but that happens only at life's end through true inner practice, not merely in time. I work with Mahāprabhujī. We are all together in this. The Nandi statue sees Holy Gurujī's samādhi and Śiva; offering to it brings blessings. We must continue every year. "All will be only one. It doesn't matter who, what will be. One in all, and all in one." "This chair is from God, Bhagavān... then you become the Parabrahma, Paramatmā." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The materialized OM
6:45 - 7:07 (22 min)
Recorded on
A refreshing wind signals progress as we prepare for the temple's opening in four months, a short time when busy. The leader's presence accelerates the work, though daily changes are subtle until seen from afar. This completion is a divine achievement of a great vision, yet it is not an end but a step in perpetual creation. Our role is to participate and support, for every small action has effect. This place transforms the land and society, carrying a universal vibration. We must invite skilled helpers to share in this work for future generations, a gift for all humanity to draw nearer to the divine. "Time seems to run more quickly when we are busy, when we engage ourselves in activities." "This area will never be completed. It is like the universe." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India

Chanting divine mantras
8:25 - 8:58 (33 min)
Recorded on
The Guru is the supreme grace and the sole means to liberation. Without the Guru's grace, no being can cross the ocean of worldly existence. The Guru bestows self-knowledge, making one fearless. By listening to the Guru's verses, one attains all perfections and happiness. The Guru is the indestructible supreme reality, a boat of divine name carrying souls to the other shore. No one is a greater benefactor than the Guru. When a soul comes before the Guru, sins of countless ages are erased. Where the Guru's grace falls, no desire remains. Service to the Guru destroys all obstacles and reveals the light of the supreme self. One who serves the Guru is rare. The Guru's enemy is the worst; their work is never fulfilled. The Guru is Vishnu, the Guru is Shiva; the Guru is verily the supreme reality. The root of meditation is the Guru's form; the root of liberation is the Guru's grace. "Guru samāna dātā koī nahīṁ, rājā barṣa āśa karai." "Guruḥ śakṣāt parabrahma tasmai śrī gurave namaḥ." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India
Enjoy the movement!
9:05 - 10:18 (73 min)
Recorded on
Foundational āsanas and breath awareness form the base of practice. Begin with Pavanamuktāsana to release the lower back, pressing the knee to the chest with the breath. Move into Daṇḍāsana, keeping the spinal column straight. Practice head movements initiated from the lower neck, coordinating with breath to avoid strain. Sarvahitā Āsanas teach correct movement patterns for all further practice. Engage muscles by imagining lifting a weight to build strength for postures like Viparīta Karanī Mudrā. Always be aware of breathing during āsana; conscious breathing activates the brain's cortex, calming the emotional limbic system. Complete yogic breathing combines abdominal, thoracic, and clavicular movement for full purification. Prāṇāyāma, like Nāḍī Śodhana, purifies the energy channels through all five layers of being. "Always be aware of your breathing. When you breathe with awareness—without changing the rhythm—we activate a center in the cortex of the brain." "Seventy percent of the body's purification comes through our breathing. That is why our breathing, especially complete yogic breathing, is so important." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
We are one family
10:25 - 10:42 (17 min)
Recorded on
This spiritual home is our family, connected not by worldly karma but by surrender to the Guru. Worldly family ties are temporary bonds of past karma. Here, we form a lasting spiritual family under our Gurudeva. True connection requires complete faith and surrender from the heart, not half-hearted belief. Personal effort is essential: we must purify our inner vessel through sādhanā, mantra, and prayer to receive grace. Satsaṅg, whether in person or virtual, sustains this connection within the lineage. The Guru embodies the entire lineage; we cannot hide from this compassionate presence. Surrender your ego through devotion and let the Guru's light guide you. "Our own family—father and mother—are connected by our karma, so we eventually part." "If you have complete faith, just that faith, and the number one rule of that faith is surrendering." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The Divine Unity of Practice and Grace
10:50 - 12:08 (78 min)
Recorded on
The practice of yoga is a collective journey where individual effort merges with divine grace. We gather like passengers on one airplane or sailors in one boat, all moving together within the same spiritual aura. The core teaching is "Nāhaṁ kartā, Prabhuḥ kartā"—I am not the doer, the Divine is the doer. Our ashram functions as two universities: the worldly and the cosmic. True spiritual progress requires discerning the real from the unreal, just as a butterfly lands only on real flowers. Our practice must be sincere, not dry or artificial. Hold firmly to truth and complete devotion; do not speak in half-truths. Every letter and word we use carries divine potential and must be used with care. Spiritual attainment comes from unwavering dedication to truth and the Guru's guidance. "Whatever we do is not what we have done. Mahāprabhujī has done it. So nāhaṁ kartā—I am not the doer." "Without truth, you will not get mokṣa. Hold this... do not say half talks." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

The first sound came from the ocean
12:55 - 13:31 (36 min)
Recorded on
The primordial sound, Nāda, is the resonant form of the Absolute. This resonance permeates all existence, originating from the cosmic source. The mother of this world is the ocean, the source of life and this foundational sound. Within all beings are dual principles, male and female, which seek balance. The horse symbolizes the complete male principle, revered in sacred rites. A story illustrates this: King Sāgar performed a horse sacrifice, and his sons disturbed the meditating sage Kapila Muni. The sage's wrath turned them to ashes, but through penance, they were restored. This sound from the ocean is used in worship and connects all cycles of time. "The mother of this our world is the ocean. Voda, and life begins from there." "The horse is the complete male. That is the one which you cannot find anywhere." Yoga, Faith, and Integration: A Personal Journey and Panel Discussion
15:00 - 16:04 (64 min)
Recorded on
Yoga is a faith-based practice for holistic wellness and integration with traditional systems. Yoga's power lies in belief and consciousness, not merely physical postures. A personal testimony describes overcoming a severe cancer diagnosis through disciplined mental reprogramming and yoga, refusing conventional treatment. The approach posits that conscious thought can influence cellular function and genetic expression. This demonstrates yoga's potential beyond physicality, aligning it with a spiritual understanding of health. Other traditional systems share this holistic view. Homeopathy treats the individual as a single mind-body entity, emphasizing mental origins of disease and cost-effective care. Ayurveda and Siddha medicine also focus on removing blockages to vital energy through detoxification and lifestyle, seeing disease as an imbalance of elements and mental stress. Integration of these drugless or minimal-medicine systems into mainstream healthcare is advocated for prevention and managing non-communicable diseases. The true purpose of yoga is considered the raising of human consciousness, with health benefits being a natural side effect. "Cancer is not a big thing in front of you; it is a tiny dot." "Homeopathy treats man as a single entity, not in spare parts." Filming location: Delhi, India

Awakening of muladhar
17:15 - 17:57 (42 min)
Recorded on
Chakras are energy centers where consciousness resides, defining character and problems. Your destiny (prārabdha) is created by past karma before your body forms. You control your present karma through action, speech, thought, and influence, but once acted upon, deeds become destiny governing future life and all current problems. The Mūlādhāra Chakra is the root foundation of consciousness based on that karma. It is the earth element, colored red for energy and Mother Consciousness. Its awakening brings safety, wisdom, and pleasurable energy, not physical sensations. The chakra's symbols include a four-petaled lotus representing the four ways life enters the world, an elephant symbolizing wisdom and prosperity, an inverted triangle for energy flow, and a coiled snake representing past, present, and future karmas—the dormant Kuṇḍalinī Śakti. Śiva (consciousness) and Śakti (nature) seek union here. Exercises like Bhujaṅgāsana and Śalabhāsana activate this chakra, strengthening the back and influencing the root center for physical and mental balance. "As long as you are not doing anything, it is still under your control." "The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī means wisdom. You become very wise, you become self-confident." The power of Gurudev's blessing
18:05 - 18:35 (30 min)
Recorded on
The great fortune of satsang and the sacred power of prasada. Being in satsang is our great luck, a refuge from the affairs of this age. This is not mental fast food but rich spiritual nourishment requiring strong inner fire to digest. Simply being in this radiant atmosphere grants energy and purification. I once thought greeting the teacher was a loss of lecture time, but after decades I see it is the most important part. The prasada received is very rare. A lecture is nice inspiration, but to bow and receive grace is precious. This act releases many karmas. Prasada is the essential, holy substance that can completely change a life, as can true darshan. We must prize this energy, keep it, and let it shine in our homes. Maintain purity within and transmit that. We are all one here in this practice. "To come, to bow down, to greet, to come very near to your Gurudev and receive prasāda... we must realize how precious this is." "That Prasāda is completely able to change our life, if we know what Prasāda is." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Birth of Lord Rama
22:00 - 22:51 (51 min)
Recorded on
The story of the Rāmāyaṇa brings a timeless message for our present days. It begins with the holy city of Ayodhyā, a city of Dharma founded by Manu. King Daśaratha ruled righteously with wise ministers and sages like Vasiṣṭha, yet he had no offspring. This was due to a boon Rāvaṇa obtained from Brahmā to prevent Daśaratha's heirs. Guru Vasiṣṭha advised a Putra Kāmeṣṭi Yajña, performed by sage Ṛśyaśṛṅga. After rituals, Agni gave a sacred khīr. The queens consumed it and conceived. Rāma was born to Kauśalyā, Bharata to Kaikeyī, and Lakṣmaṇa and Śatrughna to Sumitrā. The boys were inseparable and excelled in gurukula. When sage Viśvāmitra sought help against demons, Daśaratha reluctantly let Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa go. Viśvāmitra initiated them and gave divine weapons. They killed the demoness Tārakā and later protected Viśvāmitra's yajña from Rākṣasas. After success, Viśvāmitra directed them to Mithilā for King Janaka's yajña and the Śiva Dhanuṣ. "King Daśaratha himself was an embodiment of Dharma." "Viśvāmitrājī spoke, 'There is a Rākṣasī, Tārakā, living here, and she is very cruel... to kill her is the dharma.'"
