The Paths and Practices of Haṭha Yoga
0:35 - 1:05 (30 min)
Recorded on
Haṭha Yoga is a distinct branch of yoga concerning disciplined willpower and energy. The Bhagavad Gītā references eighteen yogas, while Patañjali's system outlines four primary paths: Karma, Bhakti, Jñāna, and Rāja Yoga. Haṭha Yoga integrates into this framework. One local explanation describes four types of willpower: the innocent persistence of a child, the determined will of women, the commanding will of a king, and the striving will of a yogī. Classically, Haṭha Yoga begins with six purification techniques, the Ṣaṭkarma, not merely postures. Its foundation lies in balancing the nāḍīs, the energy channels. The union of the Ha (Iḍā) and Tha (Piṅgalā) channels creates yoga. Practice starts with the left nostril to calm the moon channel, which governs the ever-changing mind, before proceeding to the right, sun channel. "According to Patañjali’s teaching in the Patañjali Yoga Sūtra—a very good book—yoga is not only physical exercise. It concerns the mind, consciousness, and the vṛttis (mental modifications)." "Classically, according to the yogīs, the given techniques are these six kriyās. Then we go further with our meditation, mantras, and achievements." Filming location: Vép, Hungary
Harmonizing the energies
1:10 - 1:53 (43 min)
Recorded on
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from Rijeka, Croatia. The human body is very precious. We should take care of the body. The science of yoga is within the human body. There are ten petals in the Manipura chakra and there is a letter on each of the petals with a proper resonance in order to harmonize the energies. Definitely many problems will be solved in this way.
Every soul is pure
2:00 - 2:53 (53 min)
Recorded on
The truth is unchanging reality, while the world is temporary illusion. From childhood, we inquire into our nature, yet remain in ignorance, claiming superiority over others. Only Brahman is real; this world is like a soap bubble. Our inner instrument, the antaḥkaraṇa, consists of mind, intellect, awareness, and ego. When purified, it leads to liberation. Every soul is pure but coated by karma and destiny. We must love all beings, for a tiny soul contains immense power. Social education requires understanding time and place, acting with positive intention. In the end, we face truth alone; our worldly companions and fears fall away. What is everlasting is real. "Brahma satyaṁ, jagan mithyā. Only Brahman is the truth. And this jagat is mithyā." "Every soul is coated by karma. The soul is pure, but coated by that destiny. And that destiny is what we are creating." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
The Healing Bridge: Integrating Yoga into Modern Medicine
3:00 - 3:09 (9 min)
Recorded on
A holistic yoga system offers a vital complement to modern medicine within a globalized, rapid, and restless world. Western medicine excels at structural issues but faces challenges with widespread psychosomatic conditions. Applying yoga occurs on three levels: as preventive self-care to reduce systemic costs, as a supportive adjunct to enhance medical treatments, and as a primary treatment for specific functional or psychosomatic ailments. Encouraging patients to practice the complete system, rather than seeking quick fixes, allows them to resolve their own issues through self-knowledge. This path addresses the root restlessness driving the demand for rapid, universalized treatments that often fail. The methods provided are excellent for both prevention and fostering genuine well-being. "When someone comes with a particular complaint, I advise them: 'Practice the Yoga in Daily Life system as a complete system.'" "People suffer because they are globalized, rapid, and restless. Consequently, they seek quick, rapid, and universalized medications and treatments—an approach that often fails." Filming location: Prague, Czech Republic

Christmas satsang in Strilky
5:00 - 5:10 (10 min)
Recorded on
A Christmas reflection on blessing, non-violence, and divine victory. Blessing is immortal, unchanged across all ages. We gather to contemplate divinity and the removal of negative karma. Many saints have appeared; today we remember Jesus. His birth brings a unity where no one is an enemy. Yet, even near him, negative forces arose—this is Āsurī Śakti, a black power that does not last. Divine glory and truth alone ultimately triumph. Reflect on the example set: to forgive, and to carry mercy. It is not good to kill animals on this day, for he was born among them and they were happy. To receive his blessing and Mary's mercy, give up violence and follow non-violence. Take a vow in his name to give up eating meat and using drugs, so life may become harmonious and one with God. "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." "Satyam eva jayate—truth alone triumphs." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Awakening of muladhar
5:15 - 5:57 (42 min)
Recorded on
Chakras are energy centers where consciousness resides, defining character and problems. Your destiny (prārabdha) is created by past karma before your body forms. You control your present karma through action, speech, thought, and influence, but once acted upon, deeds become destiny governing future life and all current problems. The Mūlādhāra Chakra is the root foundation of consciousness based on that karma. It is the earth element, colored red for energy and Mother Consciousness. Its awakening brings safety, wisdom, and pleasurable energy, not physical sensations. The chakra's symbols include a four-petaled lotus representing the four ways life enters the world, an elephant symbolizing wisdom and prosperity, an inverted triangle for energy flow, and a coiled snake representing past, present, and future karmas—the dormant Kuṇḍalinī Śakti. Śiva (consciousness) and Śakti (nature) seek union here. Exercises like Bhujaṅgāsana and Śalabhāsana activate this chakra, strengthening the back and influencing the root center for physical and mental balance. "As long as you are not doing anything, it is still under your control." "The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī means wisdom. You become very wise, you become self-confident." Filming location: Croatia DVD 182b
Regular yoga practice leads to good health
6:05 - 6:49 (44 min)
Recorded on
The yogic path advocates health and peace through conscious living. Completing this year, practitioners have progressed toward the highest goal. Peace is scarce in the world, and a vegan diet is advocated to care for nature and all creatures. The consensus for the planet is to turn vegetarian. Meat consumption and alcohol are grave mistakes, correlating with widespread disease. Those following a sattvic diet avoid these and remain healthy. The first happiness is good health, which is the primary wealth. To achieve the human goal, practice one system of yoga daily without change. Fasting is beneficial if organic food is unavailable. Prāṇāyāma, particularly anuloma viloma and bhastrikā, is the remedy for bodily ailments. Do not consume food from the fridge, as it loses health value. Vary your grains and vegetables weekly. Exercise simply and consistently. Eat according to the season, not from global transport. Cook at home; caring for the body is primary. Make a resolve for peace, avoiding aggression from animal products and alcohol. "Pahala sukha nirogi kaya. The first happiness is good health." "Practice anuloma viloma prāṇāyāma as much as you can throughout the day." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
Sri Alakhpuriji and the Himalayas
6:55 - 7:23 (28 min)
Recorded on
The Earth is a living, divine creation designed in perfect balance. Human activity disrupts this balance through mining, deforestation, and construction. The Himalayas are a young and holy mountain range, the abode of great saints and the manifestation of divinity. The saint Ālakpurījī embodies Śiva in the Himalayas, where his disciples and the river Alaknandā carry his vibration. One purifies the inner self through pure thought, nourishment, and behavior to merge with the divine. All souls ultimately return to the source. "Our Earth is a living planet, a Living Earth." "You are not a Hungarian. If you are Hungarian, okay, and that Hungarian also is not all." Filming location: Vép, Hungary
Prana and Soul
7:30 - 8:06 (36 min)
Recorded on
The prāṇa is life, and its management is the art of living. Ten prāṇas function within the body, with Prāṇa and Apāna being most crucial for inhalation and expulsion. Their meeting at the navel can awaken Kuṇḍalinī. Prāṇa is the guard of the soul; if prāṇa is lost but the soul remains, medical science may restore life, but it cannot if the soul departs. Pure prāṇa ensures health, our primary wealth. Health exists across five bodily layers, starting with nourishment from food. Fresh food retains prāṇa; overcooking destroys it. Cook vegetables with spices and water in a covered pot with minimal oil or ghee. Āyurveda favors ghee over oil for internal use. Chemical medicines can save lives but cause side effects, as they are foreign to the body's nature. Our long intestines are designed to process food, but poor diet harms them. Prāṇa leads to higher consciousness. Practice Prāṇāyāma and eat consciously. Avoid junk food, which becomes foul when chewed, and avoid alcohol, a destructive drug despite its medicinal origins. Choose a balanced, yogic life for longevity and happiness. "Prāṇa is life, and life is prāṇa. We can compare our prāṇa to our soul." "The first happiness or first wealth is good health." Filming location: Fiji Islands

Bhagwan Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji
8:45 - 9:52 (67 min)
Recorded on
Today is the day of Bhagavān Mahāprabhujī. Brahmalīna beings are embodiments of the supreme, everlasting Brahman, which merges within devotees as both nirguṇa and saguṇa. Obstacles like negative thinking block this divine flow, just as a stone blocks a water pipe. Siddhas, who are transparent to divine vibration, manifest for purification. Cheating others creates lifelong negative karmic reactions; it is better to be cheated. Backbiting steals negative energies but also affects the victim. Maintain humility and positive thoughts to keep your path clear, like an elephant ignoring barking dogs. Reading holy texts purifies daily consciousness. External possessions are like dust, but your inner self is an eternal treasure. The mantra "Om Prabhu Deep Niranjan Sab Dukha Bhanjan" removes all troubles. Masters can turn obstacles into fog for the faithful. Divine beings appear in visions to guide and bless. The described bhajan celebrates Mahāprabhujī as the radiant source and ocean of immortal nectar, whose glory resonates everywhere. "Deep Niranjan means purities. Prabhu Deep Niranjan, Sab Dukha Bhanjan removes all troubles." "On whom this nectar of immortality rained... who have drunk this with a full heart... his or her coming and going back is finished." Gods name is everything
10:00 - 11:13 (73 min)
Recorded on
Ceremonies mark the soul's journey through life, from entry to departure. Satsang, the company of truth, defines a human life; other days pass like those of creatures. Ceremonies like housewarming, birth, marriage, and funeral are first steps, not afterthoughts. They involve mantras and the name of God, which is central regardless of the form. The soul descends by destiny, decided by Dharmaraja based on past karma; blame no one but one's own actions. This process aims to lighten the soul's burden for liberation. Yoga begins not with physical postures but with satsang and receiving wisdom from the master, which permeates all layers of being. The soul, having suffered in past lives, fears leaving the body. Practice is essential to guide the soul through the tenth door or the eleventh, the Brahmarandhra, into the limitless Brahman. Without this practice and devotion, the soul falls into darkness. The touch of a master's feet blesses the earth eternally, yet all that forms will deform; this is nature's law. Even a realized being can feel the sorrow of separation from the divine form that blesses all. Fear signifies a lack of trust in God. True love transcends distance, creating inner oneness. "The days of a human will be counted as the days of the holy saints only where you have Sant Darshan and satsang." "Yoga begins there where you sit near the master and have the wisdom and knowledge." Filming location: Vienna, Austria
Life of Mahaprabuji
11:20 - 13:10 (110 min)
Recorded on
A gathering celebrates the divine incarnation Mahāprabhujī. His life was a complete manifestation from birth, unlike saints who achieve enlightenment through seeking. He taught through his presence and bhajans, not scholarly texts. The Līlā Amṛta records his life, continually growing with new stories of his compassion and miracles. His spiritual radiance permeates the places he lived, offering transformative energy to seekers. The ultimate aim is Mahāsamādhi, the final merging into divine consciousness, beyond ordinary death or heavenly reward. "Mahāprabhujī was enlightened right from the beginning. Mahāprabhujī was a divine incarnation." "Our aim is really the Mahāsamādhi. That means the highest samādhi, the final merging into the divine consciousness." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic
50th Anniversary of Bhagavan Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabuji Mahasamadhi
13:15 - 14:09 (54 min)
Recorded on
The divine self is beyond time and space, everlasting light and knowledge. When a great being leaves the body, their existence does not cease. The relationship based on the physical form is temporary, but the conscious connection is eternal. They remain present, though not in a material body. All prayer is directed toward that existence, whether formless or with form. Through unconditional devotion and practice, one harmonizes with the cosmic rhythm. This unity dissolves fear and the illusion of change, revealing the unbreakable self. Obstacles like anger and jealousy block this resonance. Steady practice is the root; scattering effort is confusion. The divine light removes all darkness. "Light means everything, because light is knowledge. When knowledge appears, there is nothing more to search for." "Through unconditional bhakti, devotion, one day we will manage to feel that consciously. At that time, there is no fear. At that time, there is no death." Filming location: Vienna, Austria
Mahaprabhuji is living inside of us
14:15 - 15:55 (100 min)
Recorded on
The living presence of the master is found within the heart. Connection to the divine lineage is not immediate but unfolds through devotion and experience. A personal relationship with God is practical and concrete, offering guidance and care. The master appears in the form the devotee needs, as all divine forms emanate from one light. Spiritual practice requires moving from taking to giving, and cultivating love begins with self-love. The aim of human life is self-realization, discerned through satsang and mantra. "All of you, you are connected with Mahāprabhujī." "The most easy is if you go in your heart and you just connect and feel your personal cottage there." Filming location: Vienna, Austria

Sab Kuch Deve Data
17:15 - 18:17 (62 min)
Recorded on
Mahāsamādhi is a victory, not a departure. For the self-realized, leaving the body is a joyous return to cosmic light. For devotees, it initially feels like loss. Yet in satsaṅg, we cleanse ourselves and draw nearer to that state. The greatest tragedy is to die without self-realization. Saints are omnipresent, residing in the hearts of devotees. They endure great battles to bring eternal truth. After self-realization, the spiritual journey truly begins, requiring humility beyond initial awakening. "Everyone has a birthday—even animals have a birthday—but only a self-realized person has a Mahāsamādhi." "Tell me where I am not."
Blessing of Bhagwan Sri Deep Mahaprabhuji is everywhere
18:25 - 19:15 (50 min)
Recorded on
The divine presence transcends physical form. The physical, saguṇa form is limited, while the nirguṇa form is limitless and accessible to all through the name and remembrance. When a great being merges with Brahman, their physical presence ends, but their divine essence remains. This essence is within everyone, but realizing it requires purification of the inner consciousness. Our tradition carries this blessing. The Guru's guidance is essential; rejecting it leads one astray. Personal experiences of this grace are profound but often indescribable. The disciple must be receptive to the master's shaping, like a sculptor with stone. Practice humility, follow the Guru's word, and reduce negative tendencies to progress. The divine presence is a constant support and multiplier of grace for the sincere devotee. "Greater than God Rāma is His name, which is even greater." "To be near him is like when it is very cold and we sit near a fire. The fire doesn't talk to us... but that warmth automatically comes to everyone." Filming location: Vienna, Austria
The way to the Light
19:20 - 20:24 (64 min)
Recorded on
Satsaṅg is the company of truth that leads to spiritual development. Truth is the unchanging reality, Brahman, while the changing world is temporary. The soul descends through various births, bound by past karma, to experience life on Earth. Humans possess intellect and freedom of choice, making them responsible for creating new karma. The soul is a mixture of the individual consciousness and the universal Self. Through human life, one can purify karma and realize the true Self. Education and company from childhood shape one's mentality and path. Good society, or satsaṅg, inspires positive development, while bad society, or kusaṅga, leads to distraction and suffering. Temptations like addiction appear attractive but ultimately ensnare. True friendship is a partnership walking the path of truth. One should seek the company that elevates consciousness and makes good resolutions. "Sat means truth, and that truth is what we call brahma satya, jagat mithyā." "Humans have a different law... that is called intellect, which has the capacity of saṅkalpa and vikalpa." Filming location: Moravske Toplice, Slovenia
The power of sound and words
20:30 - 21:32 (62 min)
Recorded on
Words possess immense power, shaping reality and carrying consequences across time. Ancient knowledge reveals sound as a fundamental force. A spoken word can pierce the heart like an unhealable arrow, destroying relationships and sparking great conflicts, as illustrated in ancient epics. Once released, a word cannot be recalled, just as a fired bullet cannot return. This power extends beyond human interaction; even animals are said to remember the resonance of harm. The science of sound is mirrored within the human body through its energy centers and nerves. Each chakra resonates with specific seed sounds, beginning with 'A' from the navel. Practicing these resonant sounds, such as through controlled breath, is presented as a therapeutic tool for healing and balancing the body's energies, connecting the inner gaze of ancient practice with outer observations. "One harsh word can pierce someone's heart and destroy everything." "Measure what you speak, what you promise, what you feel. Do not change." Filming location: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Mahaprabuji is light
21:40 - 22:40 (60 min)
Recorded on
The light of Satyaloka removes darkness through the Satguru. Saints manifest in two ways: through divine incarnation or through achieved consciousness. The holy soul is formless but manifests in a human body for the sake of devotees. Satguru Dev comes from Satyaloka to bring the light of Brahmajñāna. If one brings conflict or negativity into satsaṅg, one brings the mortal world into that sacred space and will not realize Brahman. Your own qualities are projected onto others. The fortunate receive satsaṅg. You cannot see another's inner state; you must know your own feelings and thoughts. The Satguru's presence is itself the light, like an ocean that remains in one place to nourish all. The human body contains a precious, immortal jewel within. Every positive thought leads toward enlightenment; every negative thought leads toward darkness. A holy saint's departure is a conscious merging with Brahman in Brahma Muhūrta. Satsaṅg is for drinking the nectar of divine wisdom, not for social argument. Surrender the ego to live as the divine Self. Do not delay; begin now. "The fortunate are they who can get the satsaṅg." "Satguru nām jahāj hai—Gurudev’s name is a boat. Those who accept it will cross the ocean." Filming location: Nepal
Hatha Yoga will give us will power
22:45 - 23:56 (71 min)
Recorded on
Haṭha Yoga purifies the system through specific kriyās. Śaṅkha Prakṣālana cleanses the intestines using warm salt water and movement, requiring and building willpower. This ancient technique balances the nāḍīs and removes accumulated waste, affecting all layers of being. It must be done under guidance, with dietary follow-up. Trāṭak, focusing on a flame, purifies eyesight, calms the mind, and balances the Ājñā Cakra. It improves concentration and regulates bodily rhythms. Both practices require discipline, starting with control over eating habits for true health. "Śaṅkha Prakṣālana is specially meant to purify our whole system, to balance the nāḍīs and to awaken the flow of the Suṣumṇā Nāḍī." "Trāṭak is excellent for purification of our eyesight, for curing many problems with our eyes. It is excellent for our concentration, awakening of the Ājñā Cakra, and releasing stress."
