Purify yourself inside and out
0:25 - 1:08 (43 min)
Evening Satsang with Vishwaguruji from Strilky Ashram, Czech Republic. Satguru is a Guru who knows everything and gives knowledge to everyone. The words of Satguru Chalisa are like pearls coming from the haven. God's energy is pure and goes to everyone. We can do neti every morning to clean our nose and lungs also. It is better to clean our teeth with our fingers without a brush. Sometimes animals are also cleaning their teeth. Many diseases begin to develop from the tension which can be between husband and wife. We learn the movements of animals with the help of yoga.
You are like bees
1:15 - 1:57 (42 min)
The eternal essence, the Ātmā, is the singular sweetness within all existence. The divine flow of grace manifests through many forms, yet the source is one. Just as a single father and mother give rise to many children, the one truth expresses itself through many gurus and disciples across generations. The physical body is temporary, composed of five elements that return to nature, but the ātmā is eternal. This essence is like a single drop that contains the potential of the entire ocean. Every being—humans, animals, trees—possesses this same divine sweetness within. Therefore, one must cultivate purity in every aspect of being and never harbor negativity or harm toward others. The practice of devotion, like the collective work of bees producing honey, allows this inner sweetness to flow forth and unite all.
"Otherwise, there is only one Guru, or one God, and then God will not be all Gurus, everybody."
"This is not a body, but ātmā, and this is like one drop, and this drop is not like a neat drop. This one drop can make immense water again."

Do seva with your heart
2:05 - 2:56 (51 min)
True seva is the greatest spiritual practice, requiring the complete offering of one's being.
Seva must be given with the full heart, not reluctantly. It is defined as tan, man, and bachan. Tan is offering the entire body in service. Man is offering the mind completely, without discrimination between people. Bachan is offering speech, where words must bring happiness and love. These three must be followed. Greed destroys this offering, while the humble immediacy of a child exemplifies it. Observing common courtesies, like allowing elders to proceed, reflects this knowledge. In gatherings, one should avoid disruptive actions. Dhana is not money; true dhana is what comes sincerely from the heart. Money is transient and often a source of corruption. The ultimate desire is not for wealth or heavens, but for the seva itself.
"Seva is greater than anything. All sādhanā, all meditations, all mantras come afterward; seva is the greatest."
"I don’t need money, and I don’t need any heavens or anything. I only want to have seva in you."

Around The World - Vegetarianism and top sport, Part 2
4:00 - 4:33 (33 min)
Vegetarian athletes discuss overcoming cultural skepticism to achieve high performance through plant-based diets. Initial motivations differ, with one citing yoga's ethical principle of non-violence and the other seeking a competitive edge in sports. Both faced doubt, especially regarding protein for muscle development or endurance. They explain that plant foods provide all necessary nutrients, but require specific knowledge to combine ingredients like legumes and grains for complete proteins. The environment presents a mental barrier, with a prevailing belief that meat is essential for strength, which they counter with personal results. Diet is highly tailored to their sports: bodybuilding focuses on muscle mass, while endurance sports like triathlon prioritize efficient energy use and recovery. They emphasize mindful eating, noting how food affects acidity, energy, and digestion during training. Discipline and listening to the body are crucial, as is the mindset that transforms training into a joyful, inspired practice beyond mere competition.
"Vegetarian nutrition was simply a continuation. That ethical aspect of vegetarianism, non-violence, developed later."
"People have a kind of sneer, like, 'No, well, look, after all, if you are vegetarian, then you won’t be able to reach that level.'"

Trees also have karma
4:40 - 5:02 (22 min)
The ancient forest reveals profound truths through its life and stories. To understand it is to know everything. Sages walk there, and a solitary yogī lives among immense, ancient trees. We have such a forest in our ashram. There, a massive banyan tree, over 5,000 years old, stands. This reminds me of a story from another ashram. A young guru there spoke to a great tree, prophesying its death within two years. The tree, confident after millennia, asked who could kill it. The guru said its friends would, and that its enemy was in fire and iron. Later, a man with an axe came and felled the tree. The fallen tree later advised that one should not have enemies, and if someone is your enemy, be kind to them. There is a lesson in small things, like a needle that can kill. We should always be careful, happy, and kind. Then, their karma will affect them, not you. The trees are our best friends. We humans need the forests and should love them.
"Ṛṣi, you take care of yourself. I am okay."
"Therefore, we should always be careful and always be very happy and kind to others."

Be patient and faithful
5:10 - 6:08 (58 min)
True learning requires patience, reverence for the source, and inner focus. The current global pause invites turning inward to ask fundamental questions of identity and purpose. Withdrawing the senses is the primary meditation; using a mala with mantra is a valid secondary method that fosters oneness. Singing bhajans is learning, but one must always credit the original composer, as failing to do so is theft and creates nonsense. Do not believe all knowledge is already taken; like butter from a cow, true insight is perpetually renewed if you tend to the source. Education, like yoga, cannot be rushed. A child learns through gradual stages and requires play to refresh the mind. A student must fully absorb one lesson before teaching another. A pilot trains for years, trusting instruments to land safely; similarly, a disciple must practice diligently under guidance, not seeking quick results. Learning is embedding knowledge within, not merely reading.
"If you eat the butter, what will happen? The cow is with me. Feed the cow with good, and you will again take the milk, and you have the butter again."
"Do not think that I cannot do more. We are here within, and that is the makhan of our knowledge, and that will be fresh."

A Call for Oneness and Earthly Stewardship
6:00 - 6:12 (12 min)
We must awaken to oneness and become stewards of Earth. Our spiritual work is for all, transcending gender, moving into unity. We have destroyed much and must restore the earth, our second mother, who now cries. Chemical pollution affects every creature and leads to our conflict and demise. Earth, water, and energy are the three vital points we must protect. We must also love children properly, for they are essential to bringing the world back to peace and harmony. Our collective care will restore balance.
"When we said Aum, that Aum became for all in one—one in all and all in one."
"Mother Earth, and the water and the air—these three points—if we can care for them, we will be again very good."

Awakening of muladhar
6:15 - 6:57 (42 min)
Chakras are energy centers where consciousness resides, defining character and problems. Your destiny (prārabdha) is created by past karma before your body forms. You control your present karma through action, speech, thought, and influence, but once acted upon, deeds become destiny governing future life and all current problems. The Mūlādhāra Chakra is the root foundation of consciousness based on that karma. It is the earth element, colored red for energy and Mother Consciousness. Its awakening brings safety, wisdom, and pleasurable energy, not physical sensations. The chakra's symbols include a four-petaled lotus representing the four ways life enters the world, an elephant symbolizing wisdom and prosperity, an inverted triangle for energy flow, and a coiled snake representing past, present, and future karmas—the dormant Kuṇḍalinī Śakti. Śiva (consciousness) and Śakti (nature) seek union here. Exercises like Bhujaṅgāsana and Śalabhāsana activate this chakra, strengthening the back and influencing the root center for physical and mental balance.
"As long as you are not doing anything, it is still under your control."
"The awakening of the Kuṇḍalinī means wisdom. You become very wise, you become self-confident."

We need peace in the whole world
7:00 - 7:45 (45 min)
Peace is the essential state and practice.
The word "Śāntiḥ" encompasses perfect happiness and is invoked to conclude prayers. The world desperately needs this peace. Our practice and mantras are good and must be shared. Life is like a flame sustained by energy; when that is gone, the flame goes out. Our bodies contain the five elements. We should begin the day with reverence for earth and water. Observing nature, like birds and dogs greeting the sun, reveals a shared vitality. Dietary choices, like abstaining from meat, can bring more peace and clarity. Personal rituals, like morning Pūjā, connect us to this energy. We should send prayers for others from our own prāṇa. The flame of a lamp is powerful; showing it to a child can aid sleep. Our practices and words are a spiritual wealth to be given to all. We will face difficulties but should build and give goodness. Practice Trāṭak by gazing softly at a flame's clean light, then closing the eyes.
"Śānti is both a feminine principle and the state of perfect happiness and joy."
"Life is like this fire. When everything, like ghee, is consumed, it will go away."

Glimpse of Kundalini
7:05 - 7:59 (54 min)
The soul is one, not many. All beings and vegetation possess this single life force. We exist within five layered bodies, or kośas, made from the five elements. At death, these elements separate and return to their source; the soul does not die but transitions. Our individual consciousness, the jīvātmā, resides within these layers. Through purification via prāṇāyāma and meditation, we shed negative karma and qualities to merge with the cosmic consciousness, which is liberation. The chakra system maps subtle energy points in the body, symbolizing this journey. Practices like earthing and avoiding intoxicants balance these energies for health and spiritual progress. Ultimately, all distinctions are illusions; we are a single consciousness.
"In reality, it is only one soul."
"Your body will not die... the five elements... are becoming one again."

Feel the divine sounds of bhajans in your heart
8:05 - 9:07 (62 min)
Satsang is the gathering for truth.
Coming together creates a strength and fullness beyond solitude. 'Sat' is truth, the fundamental reality of our being and awareness. 'Sang' means together—with oneself and with the divine. This union is Satsang. We engage through bhajan, where inner truth manifests as outer song. True singing arises from within, making the singer an instrument for divine vibration. Even in sleep, truth permeates our dreams. A story illustrates how inner truth clarifies reality: a man's dream of ice cream later manifests through his wife's action, revealing the inner reality shaping the outer. Spiritual practice requires removing impurities to perceive this truth directly. The voice in bhajan channels this energy, uniting singer, instrument, and listener in one vibration.
"Sat means the truth. We are all here, we are, we know, and we should be."
"True singing arises from within, making the singer an instrument for divine vibration."

The way to a happy and healthy life
9:15 - 10:17 (62 min)
Festivals reflect life's spiritual, cultural, and social dimensions, yet we have divided the one truth of God into many branches through language and politics. We must respect outer ceremonies while cultivating inner purity. Our health and lifespan are determined by our nourishment and lifestyle, not merely medicine. Āyurveda is the knowledge of life—it teaches sāttvic living through proper diet and thought, aligning us with nature. We have polluted the fundamental elements—earth, water, air—through greed, poisoning ourselves. True festivals, like the light of Dīvālī, symbolize the inner light of the soul that persists despite karma and darkness. We must purify ourselves, control our desires, and become a source of light for others, moving toward liberation.
"Āyurveda is not a medicine taken as a medicine, but Āyurveda is the nourishment for the body."
"Light is everywhere. That souls are God... we can do only one thing: that we pray that, O God, let me continue my path."

Neti and pranayama
10:25 - 10:54 (29 min)
The practice of netī and prāṇāyāma cleanses the subtle channels and brings health. The spine houses the Vajranāḍī, the vital channel for all creatures; its injury ends life. Care is essential in all physical activity. Netī cleanses the nostrils using a lotā with warm, salted water; practice only in the morning. This relieves headaches and clarifies the senses. Prāṇāyāma begins with alternate-nostril breathing to purify the nāḍīs. Techniques like nāḍī śodhana and anuloma viloma balance energy and release ailments. Consistent practice yields profound benefits for the mind and body.
"The Vajranāḍī is not only for humans, but for all creatures... When the Vajranāḍī is broken, then life is gone."
"Inhale with the left nostril... exhale only with the left nostril... Then we close the left nostril, and we inhale and exhale only with the right nostril."

Shiva is the light
14:35 - 15:45 (70 min)
All beings possess a soul and feel pain, from humans to the smallest fly. Water is life, and God is the living energy within it. To be human is to refrain from intentional killing. Different eras, or yugas, cycle with Dharma's purity declining; we now reside in Kali Yuga. Divinity is not a form but the conscious power from which all manifestation arises, with Śiva as the primordial source. True religion is one's inherent relation to the divine, not sectarian identity.
"A tiny fly, when they see us, they come near us and then fly away. Why? Because they think, 'These humans, they will kill us.'"
"God is that energy, power, protection, many things, but not the form."

Practice foundational āsanas like Pavanamuktāsana and Marjaryāsana to activate the spine and muscles. Flow through a warming sequence, coordinating each motion with inhalation and exhalation. Perform forward bends and backbends, focusing on alignment and the stretch without pain. Incorporate inverted postures to affect circulation and glands. Conclude with prāṇāyāma to regulate energy and a period of silent observation. The practice strengthens the body, deepens the breath, and calms the mind.

Yoga is the science of being Human
19:20 - 19:52 (32 min)
The straight path of Kriyā requires strict discipline and rejects spiritual fantasy. Kriyā Yoga is the sure and safe path, beginning and continuing with discipline. Practitioners often start with devotion but slowly neglect the practice, confusing temporary discomfort during intense practice with a flaw in the technique. The discomfort is part of adjustment. Those who remain steadfast see fruits; those who deviate are lost. Many teach without realization, leading others astray into psychic dreams of deities and angels, which is a dangerous distraction. The human body is the divine temple, the Annamaya Kośa, and must be kept clean. True religion is realizing the relation between the individual soul and the Supreme Soul. Fanaticism, whether religious or scientific, is ignorance. World peace comes from accepting our diverse neighbors. Study the chakras sincerely; do not seek shortcuts or confuse authentic teachings with commercialized tantra. Practice Kriyā faithfully without teaching others prematurely.
"Yoga begins with discipline and continues by following discipline."
"Religion means the relation; realizing the relation of ātmā to Paramātmā."

Yoga in Daily Life: The Fifth Level
21:04 - 21:42 (38 min)
Yoga is the science of body, mind, spirit, and soul. Every practice has a purpose. Begin by relaxing in Ānandāsana with palms up to open the chest and lower the shoulders. Legs apart relaxes the pelvis. Abdominal breathing massages organs and calms emotions. Practice always within comfort, never forcing. Pavanamuktāsana stretches the spine and stimulates digestion. Marjari Āsana mobilizes the spine; let movement guide breath into harmony. Paścimottānāsana stretches from the perineum upward, affecting the Maṇipūra Cakra. Prasārita Pādottānāsana works the inner legs and digestion. Jānu Śīrṣāsana brings the body into balance through equal practice on both sides. Mṛgāsana strengthens the knees and calms the nervous system. After postures, rest in Ānandāsana to feel the effects on circulation, breath, and consciousness.
"Allow the movement to cause the air to enter and the movement to cause the air to exit. In that way, in the fastest possible manner, we remove stress."
"Āsanas do not act only on the body. They are also a correction of our behavior; they act on our consciousness."

The effect of the Moon to our life
21:43 - 21:59 (16 min)
Life is governed by the natural order of the moon, sun, and water. The moon's movement directly influences our inner being and balances the Earth. Water is life itself, essential for all beings and the land. Modern interference with natural rhythms causes suffering. Changing clocks disrupts animals and human practices. Consuming fruits from opposing climates introduces conflicting energies and can cause illness. Aligning with natural cycles is crucial for health and harmony. The Guru's grace is the essential guide on this path.
"Life is very connected to the moon."
"Water is life. Life is water."

Vegetarian cooking lesson 10, Stir Fry Vegetables
22:00 - 22:12 (12 min)
A stir-fry is cooked quickly at high heat, not slowly. Heat the wok thoroughly first. Use ghee or a generous amount of oil. Cut vegetables into small pieces for fast cooking. We are adding Āyurvedic spices: asafoetida for digestion and coriander seeds. Fry spices first, then add vegetables like spring onions, carrots, and peppers. Start with harder vegetables, adding softer ones later. Do not add salt immediately, as it draws out water and causes steaming instead of frying. Stir constantly. Add salt when vegetables soften. You can finish with soy sauce or tomatoes. The dish should be soft but not overcooked, served with noodles or grains.
"For stir-fried vegetables, it’s good to use a bit extra oil or grease, as it helps the vegetables fry properly."
"It’s important not to add salt immediately, as salt draws water out of the vegetables, causing them to steam rather than fry."
