One must understand the value. If you do not understand the value, then it has no great meaning. The benefit lies in the price. The benefit is in the value. Do you understand? Benefit is in value. I have in my hand one case of glasses. This is a thing. We sell this for its value. Today, this costs 5,000 Czech crowns. The value of this case is 5,000 Czech crowns. Tomorrow, the price will go high. It will cost 50,000 crowns. Now, what is your benefit? How much benefit do you have? 45,000 crowns. Did this case change? No. So, the benefit is in the value, the price. This case cost 5,000 Czech crowns. Tomorrow, the price will fall down and it will cost 100 crowns. What did you lose? You lost 4,900 crowns. Did this case change? No. So where is the benefit? The benefit is in value. If you have value for God—50,000 percent—then you have 50,000 percent benefit. And if you have belief in God only for 100 crowns, it is your loss. So, loss and gain is in the bhāva. Bhāva means value. Bhāva means your respect. Bhāva means your appreciation. Bhāva means your devotion. Bhāva means your love for God, or for things. Bhāva means your adoration. The thing doesn't change. God will remain always the same God. It was the same millions of years ago, and now today, and also in the future. The same God which was for you when you were not self-realized—now, when you begin to practice and when you will get realization—God will not change. So, as much value as you have for your sādhanā, for your spirituality, for your master, in the words of the master, in the teachings of the master, in the gaze of the master, in the guidance of the master, there is your benefit. And when you have doubt, it's your loss. So, gain or loss is in your hands. The master will always be the same. Never compare your master. Never try to play clever in front of him. And everything is in your hands, my dear. Your liberation, your going to mokṣa, or you are going to heaven or hell. Heaven is a five-star hotel. As long as you have money, you can stay there. Then you have to go out again. As long as you have your good karmas, you will stay in heaven. When you enjoy your good karmas, you come again to charasi, again to this rebirth and death.
