This bhajan is a direct address to the mind, both the speaker's and every listener's. It speaks to the internal conflicts of doubt and suffering common to all. Many listeners may not comprehend, agree with, or may even argue against these words, while others simply enjoy the feeling. The core instruction is for the mind to understand the glory of the Satgurū to end doubt. The speaker urges the doubting mind to listen to the testimony of all great seers, yogis, and scriptures, which unanimously sing the Satgurū's praise. By turning the mind to this truth and meditating on the master's feet, one will realize supreme divine love.

"All the sages, the ṛṣis, they say, 'Gurū Brahmā, Śrī Satgurū.'"

Mahāprabhujī is speaking in this bhajan to himself, to his own mind, but it signifies the mind of everyone. We are addressing this bhajan to every mind. It is directed to your mind and to my mind: what is occurring within me, what transpires in my mind and heart, and what happens and unfolds within your heart and your mind. Many of you do not comprehend what I am saying. Many of you do not agree with what I am saying. Many of you are arguing about what I am saying, and many of you are simply enjoying. You merely gaze at Mahāprabhujī’s photo, and you feel divine love, perfect love. Mahāprabhujī is saying to himself, "O my mind, understand the glory of the Satgurū, the glory of the Satgurū. O my mind, why are you in doubt? Why are you suffering? Understand the glory of the Satgurū; then everything will be okay. But you have the doubt; it is not within. If you don't believe, then listen." "The ṛṣis, the great seers; the munis, the great yogīs; the avatāras, the incarnations of God; the auliyās—they all are the siddhas. And the Vedas, the holy literature, are singing the glory of the Satgurū. O my mind, you don't trust, and you have complexes and doubts. If you don't believe what I am telling you, then listen to them. All the sages, the ṛṣis, they say, 'Gurū Brahmā, Śrī Satgurū.' 'Śama,' or 'nahī dujā'—there is no one other like that. 'Charaṇa Kamala Dhar Dhyāna'—meditate on the divine lotus feet of the master." As soon as your mind goes there, your mind will realize parama prema.
