High standard of life and DHARMA
All beings seek happiness, a quality of joy found even in the smallest creatures. This universal desire is expressed in the wish: may all be happy, or sarve bhavantu sukhinaḥ. True happiness, sukha, is a state of complete well-being, free from disturbance. To cultivate this, one must nurture the tree of dharma—duty, truth, and right conduct—within the garden of one's consciousness. Dharma protects those who protect it. While animals are said to follow their dharma automatically, humans often do not. It is taught that a divine record, a destiny of our deeds, is maintained. The culmination of one's life is influenced by this balance of actions. Therefore, one must use discernment to seek truth and reality in all situations, especially within oneself. Overcoming ego and cultivating pure, merciful love for all beings is the path to harmony. This love is our natural response to innocence. The ultimate guidance is to align one's thoughts and actions with divine principles.
"Joy is not a quantity; joy is a quality. The same joy which the ant has, the human has, or a big elephant has."
"dharma rakṣate, rakṣate dharma. If you protect your dharma, then dharma can protect you."
