Oṃ Sukhinaḥ Sarve Santu Nirahaṅkāriṇaḥ Paśyantu Ceduk Bhāgabhāve, Salutation to the Cosmic Light, Lord of our Hearts, Omniscient and Omnipresent. In his divine presence, my dear brothers and sisters, good morning. I would like to express my very warm thankfulness for sending the message of peace to this International Conference of the Yoga in Daily Life World Peace Summit: His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Croatia; His Excellency, the President of Slovenia; as well as the Ministry of Environment and Foreign Affairs. Your Excellency, thank you for bringing the message of your Presidents. His Excellency, the Ambassador of India; and the Governor of South Moravia, Hejtman Jihomoravského kraje, Inženýr Stanislav Jurenek. Panu inženýru, tím, že jste přišel, tak jste přispěl k této konferenci krásou a světlem, a těšíme se, že jsme ... And already now, I wish you great success, and I offer my humble homage to those heroes of your country who unfortunately gave their lives or died in the war. And thank you, the respected MP from Zlín. My very dear, dear brother, Rabbi Schottendorf. We are working on three levels together: on the material level, on the worldly level, on the physical body, on the mental level, as well as on the spiritual level, to help, to be a drop in that pot which we hope the thought of the nectar of joy, peace, enlightenment, and contentment will be realized one day. Also, Your Excellency, Ex-Defense Minister of Slovakia, honored by Śrī Jasvandr Singh, respected engineers, professors, once more my dear brothers, sisters, Dr. Chelko, and my brothers of the Buddhists. You know, Buddhism is another beauty of the Sanātana Dharma, like the Sikh Dharma is also a branch of the Sanātana Dharma, and Jain Dharma. Sanātana Dharma has given birth to many, many dharmas. Sanātana Dharma is a universal, not a man-made religion. In the universal principles which you find in every religion, Sanātana Dharma does not speak about any personal God, but only one God, universal God, and that, my beloved Master, His Holiness Dharmasamrāṭ Swāmī Mādhavānandajī, used to say: one in all, and all in one. That cosmic light is in every creature, in everyone, the source of everyone's life; every heart is only that one truth, one God. And all are coming from that one. One in all, all in one. And that is Sanātana Dharma. The most ancient principle and are the signs of body, mind, consciousness, and the soul. A to je ten nejstarší princip, to je vlastně věda těla, mysli, ducha a duše. A to je yoga. Yoga to neznamená jenom fyzická cvičení. Yoga není žádné dogma. Yoga je universal principle again. All visible and invisible elements in this endless universe are balanced by some divine power, Śakti. That balancing principle is yoga. All five elements, our body, mind, emotion, intellect, our memory, our speech, and our movements, all have to be balanced. There must be some balancing principle, and that is called yoga. Where balance is, there is harmony, and where there is harmony, there is oneness, and therefore yoga means union, the union of the individual consciousness with the cosmic consciousness. And that harmony or balance we call the inner peace, inner contentment. Peace begins from one's own heart. If within us there is no peace, we can't create peace in the world. We search for happiness and peace in the material life. I used to say, in the joy of the joy, there is less joy than the sorrows of that joy. In the last century, humans were thinking to make a development, develop countries, what we call the developed world. But in reality, if we see, in which direction we develop ... A wise American Indian said, "When the last tree will be chopped off, and the last fish will die, oh man, then you will realize that you can't eat your dollars." And this development, modern development, industrial development, created destruction, disaster, and wars in this world. Gurū Pratāp Singhjī said, what son Jashwinder Singh told us, "Throw the weapons in the ocean." Lord Jesus said, "Thou shalt not kill." Mahātmā Gandhījī said, "We will not fight with the weapon." That's it. If you are a Christian and have a weapon industry, you are not a Christian. You are carrying weapons, you are not a Christian. We have to become real Christians. We have to become real Hindus, real Muslims. In Islam, in the Holy Quran, it is written, if you kill one human, it means you kill the whole humanity. I don't call this development and developed countries, but I call them destroyed countries. And unfortunately, we are supporting, making developing countries, third world countries, creating pollution, industries. Be sure, money will never bring happiness. And this is not what we want. We need developing love, understanding, tolerance in religion. We know what happened in the past in the name of religion. We remember the Middle Ages. Tolerance is important. My God and your God and their God is no different; God is one God. Respect, respect every culture. That's very important. Multiculture, no discrimination. We know every country has its problem. Every country has some problem with different cultures. The Czech Republic and Slovak Republic have problems with the Gypsy culture. So in many different countries, we need to give them a hand, not to neglect them, and understand other nations, other countries. Understand the situation, positions of every country's nations. And that we want to realize. Mahātmā Gandhi said, I like that very much, "Be the change you want to see." I try very much to change myself. But it's very hard. Very hard. Always, sometimes my inner self makes some differences between religion, countries, languages. But we have to cross the borders. Dear brothers and sisters, we are in a country which is called a country of honey and milk. I am very thankful to this country. I have been traveling in this country since 1973. Perhaps I know this country better than my own country, India. Here I have thousands and thousands of friends in this country, and many times people tell me that I feel at home in Czechoslovakia. I still have difficulty dividing Czechoslovakia into countries. Excuse me, please, all politicians here. So, thank you very much for your coming. I want only one thing, that we help each other and through any means realize world peace, if it is possible. And yes, it will be possible. We will move that rock and we will not see only the water behind the rock. But we will all together drink the water of peace and happiness to quench our thirst. I wish for this country, the Czech Republic, divine blessing, divine protection, and God bless you all, my dear brothers and sisters. I pray for the whole world that God protects us. And leads us. Asato mā sad gamaya. From unreality to reality. Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya. From darkness to light. Mṛtyor mā amṛtaṁ gamaya. From mortality to immortality. Peace, peace, peace. And that I wish to everyone. So the Millennium Goals of the United Nations, which have been given to us, this is the sustainable development. For me, sustainable development is not the money, not the building and the technology, but the sustainable relation between humans and nature. God bless you, my dear brothers and sisters. Thank you.
