Be the channel between God and people

A spiritual discourse on the sacred duty of sharing knowledge within the Yoga in Daily Life system.

"The most beautiful thing we can have in life is to help someone. To give knowledge further; if you do not give your knowledge, this knowledge will disappear with your death."

"Knowledge is something like water. If water remains staying only in one place, it begins to smell. When knowledge is not used, then slowly, slowly it goes out of your memory."

The speaker emphasizes that teaching the complete spiritual system of Yoga in Daily Life is a sacred act of passing on energy received from the spiritual lineage, notably Mahaprabhuji. They explain that sharing knowledge with the correct awareness makes one an instrument for divine light and love, preventing the knowledge from becoming stagnant or being lost.

The most beautiful thing we can have in life is to help someone. To give knowledge further; if you do not give your knowledge, this knowledge will disappear with your death. This is especially true for a teacher of Yoga in Daily Life, which is something very exclusive. We are aware of our spiritual innates. Yoga in Daily Life is not only āsanas, prāṇāyāma, and these few things—relaxation, concentration, and meditation. It is a complete system, pūrṇa. It is the system which embraces the entire globe in every aspect, including spirituality. When you teach something spiritual, it means spiritual energy comes from you. But from where do you get this spiritual energy? From our spiritual lineages. Therefore, Holy Gurujī says in his bhajana, "The source of this spirituality and light is Mahāprabhujī." He is the giver, the greatest giver. So when you give this knowledge further, and with the consciousness or the awareness, putting it into the safe of that mantra, nāma karta, then it is Mahāprabhujī's presence in you, Devpurījī's presence in you. It means their light, their love. When you transfer this knowledge with the mantra "Nahamkarata," it is like Holy Franz from Assisi said, "Lord, make me an instrument of your love." What do we understand to be an instrument of His love? What means to serve Him? It means to spread or teach or help others through His name, through His wisdom. That is your love to Him, that His light and knowledge flows through you to others. That's why between others and God, you are that instrument which makes it possible. Knowledge is something like water. If water remains staying only in one place, it begins to smell. When knowledge is not used, then slowly, slowly it goes out of your memory. Like a water wheel: as much water you take out, always comes the new. Like a deep path: the more water we take out of it, the more fresh water comes up from below.
