Welcoming Address and Valedictory Session on Yoga for Wellness
2:00 - 3:08 (68 min)
Yoga for wellness is this year's subject, focusing on its global role in health. Yoga has moved from Indian tradition to global practice, increasing our responsibility. The conference aims to establish policy parameters. Two key features were discussed: the holistic integration of traditional and modern medicine, and yoga's specific impact on diseases. Integration must evolve from simple co-location to active cross-referrals between systems. The ultimate aim is to use yoga to reduce the number of patients. For global acceptability, scientific evidence for yoga's value is essential, beyond mere assertion. This requires research and the collaboration of practitioners from both traditional and modern medicine seen here today. The goal is to shape government policy for a healthy India.
"Yoga has no side effects."
"We need to generate scientific evidence about the value of yoga if we want true acceptability."

Pollution
3:13 - 4:14 (61 min)
The five sheaths of being, from the physical to the blissful, are shaped by our nourishment. The physical body, Annamaya Kośa, is the food sheath. What you consume directly shapes your mind and energy. Modern diets of meat and chemicals have corrupted this foundation, leading to illness and a loss of vitality. Historically, nourishment was pure and communal, not commercial. The subsequent sheaths—prāṇic energy, mind, knowledge, and bliss—are all influenced by this initial, physical intake. Impure food generates impure energy, leading to a mind dominated by anger and a knowledge directed toward harm, like industrial slaughter. The bliss sheath then devolves into mere desire. The path requires sattvic purity in nourishment to elevate each successive layer of being. Do not argue with this wisdom, or you will be pulled down by your own inner impediments, symbolized by the crocodile of the Svādhiṣṭhāna chakra.
"Jaisā khāī annā, vaisā rahe man." What kind of nourishment or food you are eating, like that will turn your mind.
"Your knowledge will not work here with the bull. Your knowledge is only like this, my son. Let us go."

The blessed day of Gurupurnima
4:15 - 4:55 (40 min)
Guru Pūrṇimā celebrates the Guru, the highest principle who dispels darkness with light. It is Vyāsa Pūrṇimā, honoring the sage who compiled the Vedas, and the day the sun's light first descended. Sanātana Dharma is the eternal, spiritual religion, not man-made. The Guru sits on the Vyāsagādī, a holy throne. The disciple is like iron transformed to gold by the Guru's touch. This day begins the spiritual year. Seekers bring their annual spiritual harvest to the Master, presenting their fruits or confessing failures, and take a new resolution for sādhanā. A true devotee longs for the Guru like a lover, unable to sleep or eat, waiting in the heart. The relationship is profound and personal. Disciples are free but face the consequences of their actions. The Master's blessing and light are everywhere.
"Gu means darkness, and ru means light. When the darkness disappears, the light appears."
"Gurudev is the stone, the miracle stone, which changes the iron into gold."

The reflection of the Self
10:00 - 11:12 (72 min)
The light of the Self is realized through grace and alert practice. Time is a human construct; only the Supreme is unchanging. We are bound in saṃsāra, coming and going due to karma. The body is a temporary bag discarded at death, but the soul remains. Do not depend on others for your spiritual work; you must eat the food yourself. Holy books and teachings are like injections of wisdom to awaken us. Practice sādhanā and ātmācintan—thinking deeply on the Self. This reflection, or 'chilka', of consciousness is glimpsed through repetition like in bhajan. Remain alert and awakened, using tools like the mālā to maintain this awareness. The five sheaths of the body are temporary; you are not these layers. The soul is one in all. Do not become overly attached to worldly life and sorrow. The work is to realize and spread this inner light.
"Guru Kripa Hi Kevalam." "Don't depend on someone to do it for you."

Kundalini, chakras, and consciousness
16:15 - 17:16 (61 min)
We explore the soul, chakras, and the oneness of consciousness. Every creature has chakras and an effect on nature. Our skin is a vital protective layer connected to these energy centers. Misusing chemicals on our skin or harming animals creates negative karmic effects. The individual soul, or jīva, is like a drop of water. All drops originate from and return to the one ocean, which is the universal soul or paramātmā. Our bodies are mostly water, circulating like rivers seeking the ocean. The chakras are round energy centers, like the symbol of the sun. All major religions point to the same divine principle, often expressed through sacred sound like Oṃ. Our nervous system contains thousands of channels connecting these centers. Kundalini awakening is the conscious vibration of energy through every gland in the body, not a physical ascent. You already possess this divine consciousness. Realization comes from understanding you are part of the one ocean, not a separate drop.
"All this living jīva is only one. We are all one, but we are separated."
"Everything begins with sound. In the beginning, there was sound."

There is one Soul
17:20 - 18:43 (83 min)
Evening satsang with Vishwaguruji from retreat at Mt. Shasta, Washington State, USA. The ocean is the origin, the creation. Nada is the resonance, it is the Supreme. Vishwaguruji creates a sound from the sea-shell. The elements were emerging from the sound of the creation. There are uncountable Souls in the body like the cells. Humans are fighting in vain, there is one Earth, each of the drops are from the same origin and will dissolve again. Similarly, there is one Soul. Real yoga is to love and understand the body, like when we are practicing Yoga in Daily Life.
The Glory of Alak Purījī
18:50 - 20:07 (77 min)
The name Alak Purījī signifies the indescribable and spotless divine reality.
Alak means indescribable glory. Purī signifies completeness and the monastic duty to serve in settlements. The title connects to the Nāth tradition and siddhas, perfected beings who possess all spiritual powers yet have no personal desires; the miracles serve them, not the other way. Such a being is called Avadhūta or Abhūṭa, beyond all longing. A core practice for purifying the ego is bhikṣā, asking for food like a beggar, as even Śiva does this to bless the giver. One must give charity without judgment or expectation of return, as the recipient may be divine. Do not condemn others while ignoring your own faults. True spiritual progress requires inner purification above all ritual. Visions of such beings confirm their living presence beyond the physical body.
"Alak means we cannot write his name. What we can write, whatever we write, is not He."
"When you give a donation, then you have no right to take it back. And if you take that back, you are the biggest sinner."

Utilizing the Vajra Nadi
20:15 - 21:10 (55 min)
The Vajra Nāḍī is the strong trunk needed to balance the three primary energy channels. Our systems are in chaos because people change authentic names and teachings, leading everyone astray. Āyurveda is the best but is now untrustworthy due to conflicting advice. Yoga is similarly confused; even the Bhagavad Gītā's 18 Yogas are ignored. Sanskrit and reality are unchangeable, like a poem. Our body has sections: divine above, human and animal in the middle, and vegetative below. The Vajra Nāḍī, meaning iron-strong, is the foundational support. It is located between the big and second toes, connecting to the navel. Balance in the navel is essential; an imbalanced pulse indicates physical issues and blocks spiritual progress. A simple leg-stretching technique can correct this. Without this balance, practices like prāṇāyāma will not awaken the kuṇḍalinī.
"Āyurveda is the best, but don't trust it blindly because everyone gives different instructions and medicines."
"Unless your navel is in balance, you can do all your Kriya yogas, and nothing will happen."

The duty of the human
23:50 - 0:31 (41 min)
The foundation of life is honoring the divine within relationships and recognizing our shared humanity. First, honor the mother, for she gives life and protection. Second, honor the father. Both parents must prioritize their child over work, or the child loses connection and respect. Humanity is one, beyond caste, color, or origin. The first worship is to the mother. If all women stand to educate children, there will be no war. Next, honor the teacher for worldly knowledge, then the ancestors, and finally the spiritual guide for soul knowledge. Humans must seek more than eating and sleeping; we must ask "Who am I?" We must love all creatures. Modern life, with its distractions like laptops, pushes the child from the parent's lap. Centers like this bring people together. Even the vegan movement points to this unity, recognizing that milk is a mother's love. Our inner space is vast. We are all one soul, like separate drops from the same water. Do not seek meditation far away; go within through the chakras and Kuṇḍalinī.
"First worship is to the mother. First adoration is to the mother."
"O human, if one is doing only eating, creating children, and sleeping, all creatures can do. What is our duty as humans to come?"
