Questions to Gulabji
1:25 - 1:59 (34 min)
The mind is disturbed by endless waves of desire from the senses. To clear it, you must first know your life's goal. Without a goal, life is meaningless, like driving with no destination. A goal acts like a seed; your determination is its desire to become a tree. To grow, you must sacrifice self-interest, like a seed buried in the ground. You have the right to work and its fruits, but you cannot control their creation. Therefore, do your duty without attachment to results. Life's aims are understood through our faculties: the body seeks wealth (artha), the mind seeks desire (kāma), intellect applies wisdom (dharma) to balance them, and this leads to liberation (mokṣa). Happiness and unhappiness are interdependent; running from one means missing the other. True freedom (mokṣa) is release from desires, which bind the heart. By mastering dharma, artha, and kāma, you approach desirelessness and find peace.
"We have the right to enjoy the fruit because it comes from our karma, but we cannot create the fruit."
"God gives all the troubles to the people whom He loves. And He gives all the wealth to those whom He doesn't love."

Around the world - Yoga for children CRO
2:00 - 2:08 (8 min)
Yoga practice is a circle from intention to breath. We begin with a saṅkalpa, a silent wish repeated three times. Daily life turns attention outward, but yoga asks us to observe inward: our body, position, and feelings. There is no competition; challenges are personal, and progress brings inner satisfaction. Children are engaged through stories and animal-mimicking āsanas, learning which body parts each posture affects. We prepare the body with exercises like the butterfly to loosen hips for prāṇāyāma. The correct posture for breathing is any comfortable, steady seat. The joy is witnessing progress, from restless movement to coordinated control, which refreshes both student and teacher.
"The most difficult for me is rolling, because it is fun and loosens the spine. The hardest part is grinding, because the muscles in the arms and head hurt."
"Often, when I come here after a whole day of work... completely refreshed, I leave after an hour of yoga."

Around the world - Yoga exercises specifically for women
2:15 - 2:51 (36 min)
This is a gentle yoga sequence for menstrual well-being. We begin with relaxation and full yogic breath to harmonize body and mind. Specific postures target the pelvic area and lower back. The first exercise involves bringing one knee to the chest, then extending the leg, performed slowly and consciously. This is followed by Marjari, the cat pose, to create a supple back. We then practice hip-opening postures like the half and full butterfly. A key squatting pose is emphasized for menstrual issues, grounding, and leg strength. We proceed to Setu Āsana, the bridge, to strengthen the lower body. A final side-lying balance pose benefits the lower abdomen. Conclude by feeling the effects of the practice.
"This exercise is especially good for menstrual problems, and also beneficial for the lower back, constipation, and hips."
"This pose is especially good for women... for irregular menstruation, or for heavy bleeding between periods."
Purify your body from poison
2:55 - 4:09 (74 min)
Our subject is the Kuṇḍalinī, the chakras, and human life. Happiness is within ourselves. Unhappiness comes from outside, from disappointment, but it also resides within. Like a shadow, death walks beside us always. Unspoken grievances become a poison stored in the body, specifically in the Viśuddhi chakra. A couple suffered for fifty years because she never told him she wanted the hard crust of the bread. Swallowing negative words creates this poison, affecting health. The mythological poison from churning the ocean was drunk and held by Śiva in his throat. Similarly, we must purify our inner poison through communication, forgiveness, and practice. Do not blame others. Speak humbly: say you are sorry and ask for forgiveness. Practice prāṇāyāma, like Ujjāyī, to cleanse this energy. What we eat creates impurities; a vegetarian diet is purer. Swallowed negativity can manifest as illness. Purify your consciousness through sādhanā, prayer, and mantra. Release negativity and proceed on a positive path.
"Unhappiness and happiness are within ourselves also. But if we use yoga, then this unhappiness will, all the time, be pushed down."
"Viś means poison. Viśuddhi means purification. How to purify this poison of our negative thinking, negative hearing, that all this is unhappiness and everything is within us."

Everything is in your hands
4:15 - 4:50 (35 min)
The initiation of eight sannyāsīs was a highlight. The Master decides readiness; these were not easy individuals, each a long effort to guide. One is profoundly honest, immediately embodying the role. Another prepared for decades through hardship. Three were from Australia, one from Israel, and one Indian who left too quickly. The final one is a devoted and humble soul. Your spiritual progress is ultimately in your own hands. Teachers and masters can only support you; the decisive action is yours. A story illustrates this: disciples, jealous of their Master, trap a bird and ask if it is alive or dead. The Master replies its fate is in their hands. Your liberation, like the bird's life, depends on your decisions. Do not delay in good actions. Regarding dress, disciples should wear white; sannyāsīs wear orange. Becoming a sannyāsī is serious, not a fashion; it helps carry the spiritual light but requires true readiness and independence.
"Master, if you know everything, then tell us what is in my hand."
"My son, whether this bird is alive or dead depends on your hands."

Follow the words of the Guru
4:54 - 5:29 (35 min)
The Mahāmṛtyuñjaya Mantra is a tool for liberation from attachment and fear of death. Chant it daily, focusing awareness through the body's energy centers. It seeks a painless separation from the body, like a ripe fruit detaching from its vine. We are deeply attached to this body, acting from fear, which is a necessary protection for creation's balance. Yet, the soul leaves all pain behind at death. Our life is a transient journey, often spent earning only to spend on the body's upkeep. The stated goal is to reach the infinite, though many fear its emptiness. Spiritual practices like mantras are questioned if they do not reduce attachment. What is often sought is mere wellness, a selfish comfort equated with laziness, not the austerity of true practice. The negative qualities within us may flee from the Guru's word, but complete, permanent removal is doubted, as stories illustrate our inability to fully surrender when tested. The practice often remains superficial.
"O Lord, just as a ripe melon or a cucumber separates from the vine without any suffering, so too, O Lord God, let me be liberated from this world."
"But are you sure that from Guru Vakya you will forever remove these things? No, no."

Practical guide to meditation (2/11)
5:30 - 6:37 (67 min)
Morning satsang from weekend seminar in Vep, Hungary on 14th of February 2009.
How could Tulsidas see Rama?
6:45 - 7:53 (68 min)
The soul is caught in the mortal body, and we do not truly know it. Many believe existence ends with the body or that one merges into light after death. Others seek heaven or liberation. Theory is not enough; personal experience is required. The story of the bandit Vālmīki shows that even a great sinner can be transformed through a mantra and sincere repentance, becoming a sage who writes scripture. The story of Tulsīdās illustrates that divine vision requires alertness; God may appear, but one must be aware to see. The human body is a temple, a Garbhagṛha where the soul resides, and must be respected and kept pure. Do not defile it. The goal is to realize the blissful self within.
"Does it exist, or does it not? Is this whole game only within this body?"
"Therefore, we have to understand what human body God has given us. And that is within us, but we cannot see it."

There are two things: hope and the desires. There are four ways we create karma. Don't leave your parents in the dying room where there is no hope. The first wealth is good health. Clean your body inside with proper food, practising asanas and pranayama. Do not go to restaurants too often. Vishwaguruji invites everyone to Sri Alakhpuriji's cave in the Himalayas.

The reflection of the Self
13:40 - 14:52 (72 min)
The light of the Self is realized through grace and alert practice. Time is a human construct; only the Supreme is unchanging. We are bound in saṃsāra, coming and going due to karma. The body is a temporary bag discarded at death, but the soul remains. Do not depend on others for your spiritual work; you must eat the food yourself. Holy books and teachings are like injections of wisdom to awaken us. Practice sādhanā and ātmācintan—thinking deeply on the Self. This reflection, or 'chilka', of consciousness is glimpsed through repetition like in bhajan. Remain alert and awakened, using tools like the mālā to maintain this awareness. The five sheaths of the body are temporary; you are not these layers. The soul is one in all. Do not become overly attached to worldly life and sorrow. The work is to realize and spread this inner light.
"Guru Kripa Hi Kevalam." "Don't depend on someone to do it for you."

Kundalini, chakras, and consciousness
17:20 - 18:21 (61 min)
We explore the soul, chakras, and the oneness of consciousness. Every creature has chakras and an effect on nature. Our skin is a vital protective layer connected to these energy centers. Misusing chemicals on our skin or harming animals creates negative karmic effects. The individual soul, or jīva, is like a drop of water. All drops originate from and return to the one ocean, which is the universal soul or paramātmā. Our bodies are mostly water, circulating like rivers seeking the ocean. The chakras are round energy centers, like the symbol of the sun. All major religions point to the same divine principle, often expressed through sacred sound like Oṃ. Our nervous system contains thousands of channels connecting these centers. Kundalini awakening is the conscious vibration of energy through every gland in the body, not a physical ascent. You already possess this divine consciousness. Realization comes from understanding you are part of the one ocean, not a separate drop.
"All this living jīva is only one. We are all one, but we are separated."
"Everything begins with sound. In the beginning, there was sound."

How universe reflects in the human body
21:05 - 22:26 (81 min)
Health is the foundation for spiritual progress, beginning with the body's energy centers.
We activate energy through the foot soles, which are crucial roots needing good energy. Walking barefoot on earth for a few minutes daily draws direct energy into the body. For urban living, create a gravel bed at home to walk on; this greatly benefits the organs, especially the thyroid and heart. The first chakra level is from the soles to the ankles. Practices like Tāḍāsana affect eyesight, ears, and throat. Observing the new moon with silver metal can energize eyesight. The full moon significantly affects all life. The horizon represents the endless Anāhata. Our countless chakras include earth, vegetation, and animal levels, relating to different consciousness states. Śiva is the self-manifested source, from whose resonance came sound, then light and the other elements. The Ājñā Cakra symbolizes the union of male and female energies. The soul is one, beyond gender. The mother is revered first as divine. Chakras are symbolized by lotuses; Brahmā sits on one. Śiva instructed Viṣṇu to provide a lotus seat for Brahmā, the creator. Proper use of spices in daily nourishment is essential for health and preventing disease, not just physical exercise.
"These chakras of the body—we have so many centers we can call chakras."
"Health will depend on your nourishment, your food."

What is the most precious thing in life?
22:30 - 23:25 (55 min)
The most precious thing in life is good health, which yoga provides as a gift from Svayaṁbhū Śiva. This primordial consciousness, unborn and without parents, manifested all creation from the single thought, "I am one, and I will multiply." This manifestation is Sanātana Dharma—the eternal principle of oneness in all existence, not a religion. Humans have lost this spirituality, creating separate religions instead. True religion is to realize your relation to God, leading to Self-Realization where the individual soul and God are one. Life's quality depends on aligning with the positive, divine power (Devī Śakti) of love and non-violence, not the negative (Āsurī Śakti) of harm. In the current Kali Yuga, suffering prevails as humans become selfish, governed by material desire like gold. The only solution is to renounce attachment and thereby enjoy true freedom and enter the kingdom of God.
"Realize your relation to God is the religion."
"Renounce and enjoy."
