The rules are for the fools

Rules are for fools. Someone shared a critique: many rules exist, yet many do not follow them. Another stated, "The rules are for the fools." This is perfect wisdom. For those who behave properly, rules are unnecessary. Rules are created for fools. Initially, a warning is given: "Don't do that." After repeated warnings, a law must be established. The critique was shared openly to avoid gossip. The original speaker of the phrase remains unknown, though they introduced themselves. "The rules are for the fools." "For those who behave properly, for them, it is not rules." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Spiritual Health

Spiritual health is the foundation of human life, avoiding fanaticism and misuse of spiritual achievement. It means not fighting other groups or creating fantasies of godhood. Humans uniquely understand God and problems, unlike animals who cannot avoid them. All world conflict stems from differing beliefs where each wants universal acceptance of their own. We must create tolerance, support others, and not take their beliefs away. Practice meditation, mantras, and embody non-violence, respect, and forgiveness. Think carefully before speaking to avoid hurting others. This health leads to spiritual development and self-realization, achieved through yoga and dedicated living. "Spiritual health means practicing meditation, mantras, and prayers, and practicing in life ahiṃsā (non-violence), tolerance, respect, understanding, and forgiveness." "All the problems in the world—the fighting and war—are actually caused by differing beliefs." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

What is Yoga in Daily Life?

Yoga is the balancing principle of the universe and the foundation of human existence. It is union and harmony, present in all creative thought and action toward realization. Human intellect requires the education of yoga, beginning with basic principles like health and non-violence. This noble way of living is the kindergarten before a long journey of spiritual schooling. True inquiry into the self begins only after mastering these foundational principles. The Bhagavad Gītā illustrates this path, where even a close disciple must practice yoga to attain the consciousness of divinity. Our condition is knowing the self is divine yet not trusting it, remaining on the surface of feeling and knowledge. Civilization cannot exist without this integrating principle. Daily yoga means living by its laws for all twenty-four hours. Speaking, hearing, or seeing negative words destroys one's inner spirit and causes long suffering. The practice protects the self and environment, aiming to transform human into divine. It is a complete system for rescuing beings by offering kindness, understanding, and freedom, countering a world poisoned by negativity. "The whole world, and especially humans, cannot exist or cannot have social life, or they cannot be civilized without yoga." "Do not speak bad, do not hear bad, and do not see the bad." The Deep Practice of Relaxation

True relaxation requires harmonizing body, breath, and mind, which are often in conflict. Outer relaxation involves the limbs and creating distance from the world. Inner relaxation, more essential, stems from renunciation—detaching from problematic thoughts. This is difficult but achievable by not fixating on thoughts and consciously rejecting them. Systematic practice begins by making oneself comfortable and closing the eyes, detaching awareness from the external world. One then withdraws further, relaxes the entire body, and focuses on relaxing the breath. Feeling the trunk expand and contract with the breath induces deep calm. The conclusion involves reawakening awareness through breath and sound. Relaxation is therapeutic, alleviating physical tensions and psychic problems. A quicker method is stretching to release blocked energy and allow fresh blood flow. "Inner relaxation cannot take place unless you have learned to give up." "The most significant part of relaxation takes place with the breath." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

What is Yoga?

Yoga is the principle that unites space and consciousness. The universe is endless space, Brahman, filled with universal consciousness. The balance maintaining equilibrium between this cosmic body and its conscious embryo, Hiraṇyagarbha, is yoga. This balance manifests as harmony, resulting in unity—the union of individual and cosmic self. The obstacles to this unity are your own negative thoughts and qualities. They are personal, like bubbles on water, unreal yet they create suffering by projecting your own reflection. Only you can remove these obstacles. The master can try to help, but you must choose to stand. Therefore, physical exercises alone are not yoga's essence without changing your inner attitude. "Yoga means a balancing principle. The manifestation of this balance is harmony, and the result of harmony is unity." "Your physical problems, your emotional problems—everything is a projection from your mind." Hatha Yoga - Nauli

Agnisāra and Nauli are powerful yogic kriyās for health and longevity. Practice Agnisāra daily on an empty stomach with external breath retention, moving the abdomen in and out to purify the digestive fire and clear bodily blockages. Nauli involves churning the stomach muscles in four directions: right to left, left to right, up to down, and down to up. Mastering these practices over time leads to formidable digestion and eliminates concerns about weight. These techniques promise a long, healthy life free from modern ailments, as illustrated by a 136-year-old man in perfect health. Aspiring yoga teachers must master all variations within three years. "You can definitely dedicate one minute to your good health." "If you can master these Nauli practices, you can digest iron beans." Filming location: Czech Republic

Hatha Yoga - Basti

Basti and Śaṅkha Prakṣālana are advanced yogic cleanses for the intestinal system. Basti uses naulī to draw and expel water through the anus, cleansing more effectively than a standard enema. Śaṅkha prakṣālana, named for the conch's winding path, cleanses the entire 8.4-meter intestinal tract. Long intestines are for vegetarians by nature, so meat consumption is inadvisable as retained food causes disease. This practice should be done four times yearly under guidance, aligning with seasonal changes in the body. Post-cleanse, avoid meat and eggs for at least 35 days; some traditions advise 90 days of abstaining from meat, fish, eggs, and alcohol. For one week after, avoid raw food, limit alcohol, excessive citrus, and reduce coffee and tea—taking them with milk to neutralize effects. "Performing śaṅkha prakṣālana every three months is highly advisable." "Avoid meat and eggs for at least 35 days." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Hatha Yoga - Dhauti

We learn the cleansing practices of neti and dhauti. Neti involves rinsing the nasal passages with warm salt water, creating a good feeling for the day and aiding sleep. Applying a little oil in the nostrils afterward can protect against allergies. Dhauti refers to internal cleaning. Jaladhauti, or kunjal kriyā, is done on an empty stomach by quickly drinking warm salt water and then expelling it to purify the stomach channels; it should be done weekly, not daily, and avoided by those with high eye pressure, certain diabetic eye conditions, or hernias. Sutradhauti involves swallowing a long, soaked linen cloth and then pulling it out to clean the digestive tract; it should also be done infrequently. These practices, along with prāṇāyāma, are beneficial for conditions like asthma and mucus, as prāṇāyāma expands the lungs and increases oxygen absorption. A diet of fresh fruits and vegetables is recommended for their life energy, supporting a vegetarian principle of ahiṃsā. "It is very, very good. Sometimes it is not good for those who have a hernia, because the pressure also disturbs the hernia." "Fruit and vegetables are still living; they have fresh energy. It is a life energy, and this is very important for us." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Swamiji's closing speach at the Youth Conference 2006

The duty of juniors is to receive wisdom and become the light for the world. The time of seniors is passing, and their wisdom must be left for the future. The modern world faces deep suffering: refugees are abused, families are destroyed, and violence affects all life. Humans possess intellect and the power to act, which carries the duty of non-violence. True peace begins within one's own heart; it is time to act from that place. The young are attentive and think of the future; they must not remain small. Great beings all began small; you must continue your work. "The flame spoke to the sun: 'Don’t worry. I will try. I can’t be the sun, but I will give light to the world.'" "Charity begins at home. Peace begins from your own heart. So it is time to act, not just to sit and observe." Filming location: Zlin, Czech Republic

Swamiji's opening speach at the Youth Conference 2006

The future depends on educating youth in wisdom, love, and environmental care. Current education lacks spiritual and ethical foundations, leading to conflict and ecological crisis. Parents and teachers hold responsibility for shaping the coming generation. Sustainable peace requires imparting values of tolerance, respect, and forgiveness. Practical actions like planting trees and protecting water are essential. Knowledge must be shared before it is lost. A sustainable future is not built on pollution, weapons, or war, but on clean water and a pure world passed to children. "Please pass over to us the flame of wisdom before you go away from this world. Do not let us stand empty-handed in the darkness." "If we cannot offer them more, then we shall offer them at least one glass of clean water." Filming location: Zlin, Czech Republic

Hatha Yoga - Tratak

This is a guide to the Trāṭaka practice of gazing at a flame. Prepare by sitting upright with eyes closed. Relax the entire body completely from toes to head. Become aware of the natural breath without changing its rhythm. Maintain absolute physical stillness. Open the eyes only when instructed to gaze solely at the flame's brightest part. Observe the flame's colors without blinking, allowing any eye discomfort as purification. Then close the eyes and gaze at the inner flame perceived in the Cidākāśa, the space of consciousness at the brow center. Observe this inner light without trying to grasp it. Mentally repeat the mantra. Subsequent rounds involve gazing at the external flame, absorbing it within, and uniting with its divine light to illuminate the entire inner space, awakening the inner consciousness. "Become one with the flame." "Lead us from the darkness to the light." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Hatha Yoga - Neti & Kapalbhati

Netī is a nasal cleansing practice in Haṭha Yoga. The nose filters air, trapping dust with moisture and fine hairs. Netī cleanses like clearing a pipe, using salt water to prevent irritation and aid cleaning. The water should be slightly warmer than body temperature. This process gently massages nerves connected to the eyes and nasal system. Sūtra netī uses a waxed cotton string or catheter passed through the nostrils for deeper cleansing. Always use personal equipment. After netī, one must perform Kapālabhāti to expel residual water from the sinuses. Incorrect practice can force water into the forehead, causing headaches. Exhale through the nose with abdominal pressure while inhaling only through the mouth. Perform it with each nostril individually. Do not confuse it with Bhastrikā. Practice netī in the morning before breakfast or in the evening at least two hours before sleep to allow sinuses to dry. Daily practice benefits the ears, eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory system. "If there is too much salt, it will burn. If there is no salt, it will also burn." "Inhale through the mouth and exhale through the nose, generating pressure from the abdominal muscles." Hatha Yoga

Haṭha Yoga is the union of willpower and the body's subtle channels. The term haṭha signifies the will to achieve, illustrated by four types: a child's persistence, a woman's determination, a ruler's command, and a yogī's self-reliant resolve. True will is lost upon dependence. Anatomically, ha represents the Iḍā nāḍī and ṭha the Piṅgalā nāḍī. Yoga is their union and balance, achieved by purifying these channels to awaken the central Suṣumṇā. Modern practice misidentifies āsana and prāṇāyāma as Haṭha Yoga; these are components of Rāja Yoga. Authentic Haṭha Yoga comprises the six purificatory kriyās—Netī, Dhautī, Bastī, Naulī, Trāṭaka, and Kapālabhāti—which rejuvenate the body and awaken the triṇāḍī system. "As soon as you depend on someone or something, your will is lost." "When these two nerves get balanced, harmonized, and unite, that union is known as yoga." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Bhakta and Bhagawan

Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa are an inseparable union. Without Rādhā, Kṛṣṇa is half, for the devotee and God are the same. Where there are no devotees, God feels lonely and questions His manifestation. With the devotee present, He is happy and performs His divine play. A story illustrates Kṛṣṇa's omnipresence with all devotees. A man verified this by finding Kṛṣṇa uniquely present in every gopī's room. Yet one gopī, consumed by jealousy, felt abandoned and had not seen Him. Such a mental tendency creates loneliness and self-torture. All are one as beautiful devotees in various relationships. Be happy and relaxed without tension. "Where God is, devotees are. Where there are no devotees, God is so lonely." "If you have such a vṛtti, then you are lonely. You are torturing yourself." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Candles on your birthday cake

The candle and cake tradition is a mistaken symbol that harms life. The candle represents your life; blowing it out shortens your life. The cake symbolizes your body and also life itself; cutting it severs your life's rope. This custom is not from ancient European or Indian culture but a recent development followed blindly. From a health perspective, one should prepare nourishing foods like milk rice with nuts and honey on a birthday. Ancient Vedic culture speaks of increasing and completeness, blessing long and healthy life, not extinguishing it. "The candle on the cake symbolizes your life, and the cake symbolizes your body." "And the cake is life, and never cut your life with a knife." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

mantra OM SRI GURU DIPAYA NAMAH

Om is the cosmic sound, the origin and essence of all creation. Everything emerges from Om, exists within it, and merges back into it. This sound is the form of the Supreme, present in every atom and cell. Śrī represents wealth, prosperity, and the principle of Lakṣmī. Guru is the eternal principle of consciousness that leads from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. This Guru Tattva is the light of wisdom and love. Namaḥ signifies salutation and a humble request for guidance. Reciting this mantra grants happiness, prosperity, and wisdom, freeing one from suffering and negativity. "Guh is darkness, and Ruh is light. The principle that leads us from darkness to light is the Guru." "Namaḥ means my salutation, my adoration, my prayers, my request, my humility." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Rakshabandhan - the day of honour, dignity and respect for the women

The sacred duty and dignity of women is foundational for society. The primary issue is that women do not respect themselves, allowing their dignity to be compromised for commercial purposes. When women reclaim self-respect, men will follow, as they inherently respect women. A woman's rightful and respected place is as the home minister, cultivating the family's healthy roots. Society's health depends on mothers being present at home to guide children. The traditional dynamic involves the husband earning and giving all money to his wife with complete trust, never questioning its use, while she manages all affairs and upholds the family's dignity. Do not fight for equality; women already hold a higher position—80% of family life rests with the mother. By seeking high positions outside, women risk losing their essential role at home. Women must unite to educate future generations, as mothers and teachers shape the world's future. Mothers have the power to protect humanity from drugs, crime, and war by instilling moral principles. In our tradition, the feminine is named first, as in Lakṣmī Nārāyaṇa, signifying her primacy. Do not give children violent toys; they need love and wisdom, not mere money. The concept of earning and saving solely for children is flawed. Be present with your children today, for they learn from you. Women must awaken to their sacred duty. "Ladies should have a comfortable, happy, and respected place at home and stay at home. They are known as the home minister." "The future of tomorrow is in the hands of women. They have to begin to educate the children from the beginning now." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Asana

Āsana holds multiple meanings beyond physical postures. Your mat or blanket is your personal āsana, a seat holding your energy. Your bed or residence can also be termed an āsana. Fundamentally, āsana signifies any comfortable resting posture. It is said there are 8.4 million postures as there are creatures; major ones are adapted from nature, like the cat stretch. Every posture and movement practically influences the body's joints, muscles, and internal systems. Your heart, a faithful servant, never rests. Every āsana affects your breathing; value this breath, as a fish suffers out of water. "Whether it is plastic or any other material upon which you sit or practice your yoga exercises, this is called your āsana." "Āsana means a comfortable position or a movement where your body feels good." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Free yourself from the attachment

Attachment creates bondage, while love brings freedom. The idea of complete renunciation is often misunderstood. True practice must be integrated into one's current life. A story illustrates this peril. A sage rescued and raised an orphaned deer, becoming deeply attached. Upon his death, his constant thoughts of the deer caused his soul to be reborn as that deer's fawn. Reborn as the deer, he realized his error: attachment had caused his animal rebirth. He prayed for liberation. This shows how attachment, distinct from love, binds the soul. Like a bird that nurtures its young then lets them fly, duty must be fulfilled without clinging. Attachment is a chain, like a cow tied in a burning stall, causing inner suffering. You may provide education and support, but you cannot control another's destiny. After a point, you must grant freedom. This applies to family, friends, and all beings. What you think is yours is not; true freedom comes from releasing this ignorance. "Where there is attachment, there is unhappiness. And where there is love, there is happiness." "You think it is your responsibility. It is not your responsibility. You have done everything you could." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Story about Mahaprabhuji and Holy Guruji

The lesson is about receiving a guru's grace, which requires surrender, not jealousy. Śrī Mahāprabhujī was a being of immense spiritual power whose mere look could inspire devotion. He spoke little, yet his presence was everything. Disciples were jealous that he gave all his spiritual power to Holy Gurujī. One disciple, Swāmī Maheshwarānanda, complained he received nothing. Mahāprabhujī said he must learn to receive grace from Gurujī himself. To teach him, Mahāprabhujī sent him on a journey with Gurujī to run simple errands with no money. During the trip, Gurujī's word alone stopped trains and commanded officials who provided everything needed, including new umbrellas and vegetables. Swāmī Maheshwarānanda witnessed this power but later faced trouble traveling alone. He returned realizing the grace flows to those who serve without doubt. Jealousy creates distance. Unconditional surrender is essential. Trust lost is everything lost. "Mahāprabhujī said, 'I have given you the power in your words; use it. I give to you, and you give further.'" "Holy Gurujī said, 'Yes, if you want to receive, then you should serve him. Therefore, Gurudev is always there.'" Filming location: Vienna, Austria

Dharma sometimes makes the master and disciple live and work in a physical distance

Disciples are like plants that thrive when replanted. Being sent away is not a sign of disfavor but of love and necessity for growth and service. Physical distance is nothing; being far can bring you nearer. For divine work, five principles are essential: knowledge, detachment, willpower, renunciation, and devotion. Renounce personal glory and act only for the Guru. A true ascetic travels lightly, carrying only the scriptures and a traditional copper water pot, a symbol of simple, dedicated life. "When I die, look into my eyes; mutely they will say, 'I will be dying.'" "As far as you will be, the nearer you will be to Me." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

The last words of Holy Guruji

The final teaching is to cease unnecessary worry and accept what will be. One who receives the Guru's blessing becomes a Guru. Realizing this truth confirms it. Just as salt cannot become sugar, each being has an inherent nature. Therefore, do not fear. What is destined will occur regardless. A story illustrates this: a train carrying Mahatma Gandhi split in the mountains. As his carriage rolled backward, his secretary panicked about dying. Gandhi instructed him to write and utilize the present moment instead. Suffering in anticipation is a waste of time; one should engage in worthwhile action now. Thus, the instruction is to not worry. "Utilize the time now. So what will happen, will happen." "Your true pride, don’t worry, don’t worry, don’t worry... don’t worry." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Which is the best mantra?

The essence of all mantras is the Guru's word. This instruction is the foundation for spiritual development and liberation. The Master's directive, whether a command or a prohibition, is the operative mantra for the disciple. All genuine scriptures convey this same essential teaching. Yet, scriptures also warn of deceitful influences that cause suffering, akin to destructive forces within sacred narratives. Therefore, one is instructed to seek the company of truth. Service to the Guru is proclaimed as supremely valuable. Ultimately, liberation is rooted solely in the Guru's grace. "Maṁtra mūlaṁ guruvākyaṁ." "Mokṣamūlaṁ guru-kṛpā." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Rainwater harvesting program and the neem

The neem tree is a divine gift for health and purity, supporting sustainable development and water projects. We harvest its leaves in a pollution-free zone, drying them in the shade to preserve their essence. The powder protects against viruses and builds immunity when a small amount is consumed daily. For external use, water soaked with neem leaves cleanses the skin and hair beautifully. It can be applied directly to wounds to aid healing. Neem purifies the blood, aids oral health, and can help regulate sugar levels, though its effect on blood pressure varies individually. It disinfects the body and home, serving as a natural cleaner. A paste made from the powder makes an excellent skin mask. Using neem supports holistic well-being and environmental projects. "Consuming a quarter teaspoon of neem leaf powder daily protects against viruses and seasonal flu." "For a wound that does not heal, apply neem powder directly to see its miraculous effect." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Committed young people will become the messengers of wisdom

To master spiritual texts, one must dedicate their life to studying the original Sanskrit. Translations are insufficient, as they lose the original essence. I offer a twelve-year program of study for this purpose. This requires a total life commitment, interrupting all other activities and relationships. Such dedication is rare. If you make this decision, you will become a great messenger of wisdom and light for the world. Financial support can be arranged. Half-knowledge is dangerous; only complete dedication suffices. "Translation always loses some original quality; it becomes second-hand." "Half-knowledge is dangerous; half-knowledge is dangerous." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Meaning of the Guru Purnima

Guru Pūrṇimā is a day of profound spiritual connection. Fortunate are those united with the Master, while those who merely fear or forget the day are unfortunate. The guru principle is immortal and supreme. On this day, rise early, bathe, and listen to the Guru Gītā. Perform worship and prayer, partake of blessed food, and practice mantras. Maintain positive speech and thought. In the evening, cleanse again, prepare a meal as an offering, and attend or organize a gathering. If not possible, listen to devotional songs, read sacred texts, and meditate. We will be together in spirit. "Fortunate are those who can be with the Master on this day." "The guru-tattva is immortal, the highest, and that is sanātana." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Why should not we eat eggs?

Eggs are not considered suitable for a pure, spiritual diet. They are not vegetarian or a milk product, but a life form possessing tamas guṇa, the quality of inertia and impurity. What spoils quickly is considered impure, and eggs spoil even faster than fish. Consuming them affects one's consciousness; it is said eating one egg can disrupt proper meditation for ten days. Ethically, modern egg production causes suffering. Hens are confined, forced to overproduce eggs through chemical means. For a hen, an egg is a potential embryo. This industrial process violates ethical principles of non-harm and purity. "I have heard that Paramahaṁsa Yogānanda... said if you eat one egg, you cannot meditate properly for ten days." "For a hen, the egg is an embryo, and to force a hen to produce so many eggs... is contrary to ethical principles." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Cooperation of the master and disciple

A master's hasty astral journey reveals the interdependence of teacher and disciple. A siddha hears a devotee's prayer from a sinking ship. He urgently projects his astral body to help but exits incorrectly. He cannot re-enter his physical body because he forgot his exit point. His disciple astral projects to guide him back. The master then names the disciple Nābhājī. This Nābhājī later authored the Bhaktamālā, chronicling saints' lives. These saints possessed nothing but a practice blanket. The narrative notes India's past sanctity due to its many saints. The relationship is emphasized: a master may forget, but the disciple must remember the teaching. "Gurudev, if you cannot save me from this ocean, then how will you save me from the ocean of Māyā?" "The Master may forget, but the disciple must not forget." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Be the channel between God and people

The greatest gift is sharing spiritual knowledge, for it preserves wisdom beyond one's own life. Yoga in Daily Life is a complete, global spiritual system, not merely physical practices. Teaching it channels spiritual energy drawn from our lineages, ultimately from Mahāprabhujī. When you impart this knowledge with conscious awareness and mantra, you become an instrument for that divine light and love to flow through you to others. Knowledge must be used and shared; if kept stagnant, it is forgotten, but when given freely, it is continually renewed. "If you do not give your knowledge, this knowledge will disappear with your death." "Like a water wheel: as much water you take out, always comes the new." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

The definition of Yoga -- where there is balance there is no suffering

Yoga is the universal principle of balance, the uniting force between all things, from consciousness to matter. Without this balance, suffering arises. The word itself derives from "yoke," the device that balances two oxen. All cosmic elements exist in this equilibrium, which produces harmony. For humanity, balance means shared understanding, ending conflict. Intellect disrupts balance; practice creates harmony. Harmony yields unity, and unity yields power. This same principle of balance, harmony, and union must apply to the human being—integrating body, mind, emotion, and intellect. Yoga is not a narrow subject but a uniting power present in every atom. "Yoga means the balancing principle." "Where there is unity, there is power. Where there is duality, there is no power." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Sankalpa

The power of a firm spiritual resolution is essential for achievement. A saṅkalpa is a deep, long-term commitment, not a fleeting thought. Its strength determines success, as seen in arduous physical journeys requiring immense will. This same principle applies to the spiritual path; many begin but lack the unwavering certainty to continue. True devotion is not merely about outward practice but about a state of profound, natural belief and being sure. Do not approach the divine with intellectual conditions or challenges, a tendency often observed. Setting such barriers creates obstacles. One must accept outcomes with equanimity, remaining happy regardless. The key is to surrender this conditional mindset. "First, you must be sure." "If it will be, it will be; if not, it will not be. In both conditions, remain happy." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

To Yoga Teachers

Wisdom is transmitted through the master's spoken word, Śruti, and the disciple's memory, Smṛti. Authenticity requires the consensus of many disciples, empowered by the master's blessing. Without this grace, knowledge dries out, attacked by doubts and negative thoughts. To receive blessing, one must be a pure vessel, free from jealousy and anger. Purity attracts grace as a butterfly is drawn to real flowers. Ancient oral traditions were later preserved in writings spanning millennia. In the current age, external reality remains unchanged; only human attitudes have shifted, causing suffering. Seek truth, not material opinions. Constant motivation requires positive association and universal love, not criticism. Spirituality is for the selected, not the elected. Teaching is a divine duty of transmitting spiritual light, requiring complete personal purification. "Many yugas passed while reading many books, but no one became wise. Wise is the one who reads two and a half letters, which are called love." "Gurudeva binā kara jana yā sare. Gurudeva binākāra koṭi upayakāre." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Live together in harmony and love -- the old and young people should be in harmony

A teacher of completeness is one who gives knowledge onward, for a well does not drink its own water. To teach selfishly ensures failure, as the knowledge will disappear. Therefore, develop discipline with your knowledge and do not search for mistakes in others. The mistake is in you. Generations inevitably fail to understand each other; those who are older must learn to give the key to their treasure to the young before they are declared ready for the old-age home. The threshold of being considered old decreases rapidly, yet the young possess greater enduring capacity and power. They have learned much and must be brought forward to become teachers themselves, giving the knowledge onward under the guidance of experienced instructors, all living in harmony under one umbrella. "The well does not drink its own water—it gives it onward." "Do not search for mistakes in others. The mistake is in you." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Story about banjan tree

Life is ever-changing. An ancient banyan tree mourned the loss of its last leaf, feeling alone and fearing its accumulated wisdom would be lost. A gardener pruned its ill parts, promising renewal. The tree initially felt ugly from the cuts. By spring, it was covered in healthy new leaves, feeling rich and beautiful again. The gardener noted its great age. Similarly, some feel sad when people leave a gathering. These departures are like ill leaves falling in their right time. What remains, you must sometimes cut out yourself. Be thyself. Then others will notice the change and wonder at its cause. "My life is hopeless. There is only disappointment. Everything has separated from me." "I thank you. I am so blessed. I have my best friends back again." Filming location: Umag, Croatia

Ten Indrias - ten petals of Manipur Chakra

The ten jewels of the Maṇipūra chakra represent the mastery of the ten senses. The mantra "Maṇi Padme Hum" honors the jewel-like qualities of the Buddha's lotus feet. These ten jewels correspond to the ten petals of the Maṇipūra chakra, which governs the ten indriyas, or senses. The five senses of perception and the five senses of action are like ten horses pulling the coach of the body. If uncontrolled, they destroy it; if mastered, they preserve it. The senses of perception gather information and can succumb to temptation. The senses of action are our capacities for speech, movement, and reproduction. Their control is essential. Their root is in the Maṇipūra, visualized with ten golden-yellow petals. This color, Pitāmbara, represents the purifying fire element and is associated with Viṣṇu. "If these ten horses are under control, the coach remains in good condition. If these ten horses run wild, the coach will very soon be destroyed." "This is the color of the fire element; this is the color of purification." Filming location: Umag, Croatia

Love, contentment and happiness are Universal principles within you

Human consciousness is a divine garden. You are the bee gathering nectar from its blossoms, which bloom through devotion. Without this inner love, life withers into loneliness and despair. Seeking happiness from others' love is futile, as it inevitably turns to pain. Causing another's tears incurs a severe karmic debt: one tear repaid with a thousand. Therefore, cultivate your inner garden. Abiding there brings eternal happiness and divine intoxication. This state is bhakti: devotion, friendliness, freedom, and forgiveness. To forgive another is to first forgive yourself. To show mercy is to first be merciful to yourself. "If you think the love of others will make you happy, forget it." "If you forgive someone, first you have forgiven yourself." Filming location: Umag, Croatia

Practise makes one perfect

The grammar of practice is harder than the theory. There are two kinds. The first is physical and meditative practice, which is easy. The second is working with your own mind and desires, which is very hard. The hardest thing is to say no to yourself. To control the senses is the first control. Without controlling anger, jealousy, and greed, your practice has no effect. If you do not control thoughts and senses, you have not progressed spiritually from birth. Yoga is mastering yourself. Do not look for mistakes in others; look for them in yourself. Remember many are better than you, and many are less happy. All true masters expect from you this same inner work, which is the real practice. "God finds the mistakes in others; you find the mistakes in yourself." "The hardest thing is to say no to oneself. And that is yoga. Master yourself." Filming location: Zagreb, Croatia

Introduction to Manipur Chakra

The journey into the Maṇipūra chakra marks a significant spiritual crossing. The individual consciousness, distinct from the Ātmā within, is composed of karmic layers. Through practice and grace, consciousness rises to enter this center, whose name means "city of jewels." Our physical manifestation began here, at the navel connecting to the mother. The conditions of conception—the parents' state and the celestial constellation—imprint upon the psyche and this chakra. All life experiences are felt here, generating heat, cold, or fear that reflects to the heart. Every being is special, carried on the waves of its unique destiny. Attaining a human body is a precious opportunity for divine transformation. "Maṇi is the jewel, padam is the lotus feet of the master, and hūṃ means 'bow down.'" "The first day when we entered into the mother's body, that was our real birthday." Filming location: Umag, Croatia

Devotion frees you from fear

A master demonstrates conscious departure to teach overcoming the fear of death. About eighty years ago, a master announced his departure, measured his grave, and sat within it. His grieving disciple pleaded not to be left alone. The master invited the disciple to sit with him. They chanted together and departed. We become nervous knowing we will leave the body; we must first overcome that fear. Another master lived 135 years and announced his departure date one year prior. No one believed the healthy man. One week before, he called all devotees to bless them. He specified the exact morning time. He gave final blessings and departed in meditation while chanting. He possessed great spiritual powers, knowing past lives and answering unasked questions. You should read his life story. Many here also have this divine tendency, but we ignore it due to circumstance and lose the memory, though it awakens us again from time to time. "Master, Master, wait a moment. My dear Master, what will I do without you here?" "Tomorrow morning, early, one hour before sunrise, during the Brahma Muhūrta, I will depart." Filming location: Perth, Australia

Humans are day by day getting distant from God

The ten senses are the five senses of knowledge and the five senses of action. These are the only keys to record information into the computer of the mind. The senses operate independently; only the mouth can taste salt in water. This illustrates that salt changes its form but not its quality. Similarly, we change our bodily form at death, entering an astral body while our soul quality remains. We are not one with God because we lack the divine quality. Self-realized souls purify their consciousness to develop cosmic qualities and merge into oneness. Others travel through the universe, fluttering on waves of emotion, which is the cause of suffering. Eventually, God may direct us back to a body to do better. Intellect distances us from God; theory cannot change reality. "These are the only five keys to record anything in your computer, and that computer is located here." "Salt changes the form but not the quality." Filming location: Perth, Australia

No one should suffer because of me

Learning to cook is fundamental to understanding life, health, and self-care. You should cook for yourself to know what you eat. Begin your day with prayer, yoga, and meditation, then prepare your breakfast. When others cook, you do not know what goes into your food. A mother cooks with the most love, then a wife, though a husband cannot cook with the same depth. If a wife is upset, her emotions can enter the food, so one should cook while chanting or singing. Eating fresh, homemade food nourishes your body, mind, and spirit. Eat consciously with thankfulness. Human greed causes diseases like bird flu and suffering in factory farming. Animals feel pain; taking a life is a great sin. Non-violence is the highest principle. Do not be a slave to taste. Vegetarianism is an ethical, health, and environmental imperative. The torture in animal transport is horrific; if you consume, you support this. As a human with intellect, you can choose compassion. Learn to cook fresh food with love. If you do nothing else, promote vegetarianism to alleviate suffering. "Therefore it is said, ahiṃsā paramo dharma—non-violence is the highest principle." "Eat the vegetables, fruits, nuts, honey, and milk grown in the field; you will be healthy." Filming location: Melbourne, Australia

What if I die without getting enlightment?

Yoga is the divine power of manifestation and the light of illuminating consciousness. Śrī Kṛṣṇa reveals that even His own incarnation is made possible through yoga śakti, the unifying power that harmonizes elements to form a body. This same yoga was given to the sun, meaning its radiant light is the light of wisdom, not physical postures. When Arjuna feared dying before completing his practice, he was assured the accrued spiritual benefit travels within the astral body. This ensures rebirth in a human form with spiritually inclined parents, allowing the awakening to continue naturally from childhood. "It is that very yoga which I give to you, Arjuna, and which I gave to the sun long ago." "The benefit of this enlightenment... will accompany you in your astral body. You will undoubtedly obtain another human life, with spiritually inclined parents." Filming location: Melbourne, Australia

Come back to God

The twenty-four siddhis, or yogic perfections, are ancient spiritual powers now mirrored by modern technology. Telepathy is realized through the telephone, and the siddhi of flight is achieved by aeroplane. Ancient texts like the Rāmāyaṇa describe advanced vehicles, suggesting prior scientific knowledge. Modern science, however, brings both benefits like connectivity and drawbacks like pollution. Yoga was once seen only for renunciates but is now essential for everyone in society to manage stress. All conceptions of God are valid, being creations of the mind. Life is a cycle of 8.4 million creatures, all subject to death, but humans can seek liberation to break this cycle. From the beginning, positive and negative forces have been in conflict across all elements, a concept reflected in modern military divisions. The ancient idea of reincarnation finds a modern parallel in the concept of recycling. "Thus, telepathy has turned into the telephone." "Therefore, the science that humans have brought forth and what humans are doing has two sides: good and bad." Filming location: Melbourne, Australia

Ahara Vihara Achara Vichara

The first sheath of being is the physical body, composed of the five elements and sustained by diet, drink, and company. As the food, so the mind; as the drink, so the speech; as the company, so the habits. To maintain health, one must manage four principles: diet, recreation, behavior, and thought. Good, limited food and positive thinking are essential but difficult, as the greatest challenge is self-denial. The physical body's presence defines your world, and the human intellect is the most powerful tool for health and happiness. This is the food sheath. Next is the energy sheath, which is not oxygen but the radiance of our physical energy. "Jaisā khāyegā ann, vaisā rahegā man: As the food you eat, so will be your mind." "Yes, I am lonely since you are here. Before, I was one with myself." Filming location: Melbourne, Australia

Who is dreaming?

The chakras represent a journey of consciousness through the mind. The mind pendulates between consciousness at the crown and the intellect, or buddhi, at the eyebrow center. All information enters through the five senses. These impressions are consciously recorded in a fresh present moment before descending into the subconscious. The subconscious seat is associated with the throat, linked to the astral body that separates during dreams. This raises the question of what is real. Neither dream nor waking life is ultimate reality; the constant reality is the Self, the 'now' present in both states. Practicing Kundalini yoga requires systematic guidance and self-control to avoid misguided sensations. A real awakening is beautiful, happy, and self-controlled, not fearful. Begin by observing three transitions: from wakefulness to sleep, the astral separation in dreaming, and the instantaneous return to the body upon waking. Understand your consciousness first. "Through these jñāna-indriyas, whatever information we gather from the external world—through sound, smell, taste, color, or touch—we are conscious of it at that moment." "Awakening is something beautiful, happy, self-controlled, the most beautiful thing that happens in your life. That is a real Kuṇḍalinī awakening." Filming location: Melbourne, Australia

Why has the Soul falled into this world of illusion?

The true self is unborn and beyond the illusion of life and death. You are not the temporary identity you speak of; you are, in reality, one with the divine. This perceived separation is an illusion born of ignorance. The Ātmā, your true self, is indestructible like space; it cannot be cut, burned, or killed. It is immortal, pure consciousness. From this consciousness, a divine will expressed itself as the primordial sound, Oṁ. This sound is the creative vibration from which all universes manifest. You originally existed within this as a joyful, divine being. Traveling on the waves of time, individual qualities emerged and coalesced into a soul, causing you to forget your original, unified state. This forgetting is the pollution of ignorance. The entire play of creation is not a mistake. By realizing your true self, you transcend fear and see the body as a temporary burden, returning to your original, happy nature. "‘This Ātmā, which you are, no weapon can kill.’ Death cannot take it away, and no elements can destroy you." "‘Eko'haṁ bahusyāmi.’ I am one, and I will multiply." Filming location: Adelaide, Australia

Respect keeps the balance in society

The Primacy of the Mother and the Principle of Yoga The entire space is one without a second, a fullness. This creates a harmony like that between a mother and child. The first God is the mother. Between space and consciousness is a balancing principle that holds them together, called Yoga. Where there is balance, there is harmony and unity. Within cosmic consciousness, desire arises and leads to trouble. Even God is in trouble. If He came to resolve it, we would crucify Him. The Father did not anticipate His children would become like this. Today, children tell parents it is their mistake and their right to take everything. We have failed to educate them. Children need love and wisdom, not money or toys. Children are the culture of tomorrow. Your children run out at night because they cannot find happiness at home. Outside, they are like lost children. "Mātṛdevo bhava—the first is the mother; the first God is the mother." "Yoga means union." Filming location: Adelaide, Australia

In every heart He resides

Easter focuses global spiritual energy on divine contemplation. The one formless God manifests through various messengers and incarnations according to planetary need, with all beings as God's children. Duality and discrimination must be removed to realize the unchanging reality; theory is useless without practice. Human attitude, not the world, has changed, creating misery through actions against nature, destroying both external and inner environments. While God's mercy extends to all creatures, human intellect misused makes humanity the most destructive. The message is to live simply, love all, and be the change for peace, repeating the divine name as the practice for liberation. "Eko brahma dvitīya nāsti: there is one reality, and where there is two, it is not reality." "Mother Earth has enough for everyone's need, but not for their greed." Filming location: Brisbane, Australia

Ashram

An āshram is a divine shelter for spiritual work and service. Vedic tradition outlines four life stages: Brahmachārī for student life until 25, Gṛhastha for household duties until 50, Vānaprastha for detachment and preparation until 75, and Sannyāsa for complete renunciation until 100. After 100 years, one departs this world. Human life is for self-realization alone; all possessions are left behind at death. The greatest tragedy is to die without God-realization. Practice, not theory, is essential. "Āshram means shelter. 'Ā' means welcome and 'śram' means work. It is an invitation: come and work." "Human life is given for only one thing: Ātma-jñāna. To urge the Ātma-jñāna—self-realization, the knowledge of the Self." Filming location: Brisbane, Australia

You are the Vedas

The divine mission of saints and the universal message of the Vedas guide us. We often fail to recognize holy saints during their lifetime, only realizing their nature after they depart. All beings are children of God, not just humans, and causing pain to any creature is a grave injustice. The highest principle is non-violence, ahiṃsā; violence can be committed through thought, word, or deed, and such acts are sin. Heaven and hell exist here on Earth. The Vedas are a divine message, not man-made, given at creation and later written down. Knowledge was originally transmitted orally, but human memory and discipline have severely declined, partly due to becoming slaves to technology. The essence of the Vedas is the Upaniṣad, the dialogue between master and disciple. Self-realization begins by seeing yourself in every creature. Before any action, know its form and consequences so your discernment can decide. The universe is endless with countless suns. A yogi aims to become one with the entire universe. Humans are created as protectors, not destroyers. The Vedas and the trinity of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva are within you; you are the creator. "Ahiṃsā paramo dharma—the highest principle is non-violence." "The first step of self-realization is that when you see thyself in every creature." Filming location: Brisbane, Australia
