The Eternal Presence of the Master

The divine presence is realized through devotion, yet often fully appreciated only in retrospect. A Master perceives the heartfelt love of devotees during sacred gatherings. That profound connection remains accessible beyond physical forms. The feeling of belated recognition arises from human attachment, not divine absence. The eternal bond transcends temporal separation. Spiritual realization is timeless, though human understanding unfolds gradually. The essence of grace persists continuously, independent of physical proximity. "A Master feels the love, the devotion, the heartfelt devotion from the devotees." "Yet, it is often only when the Master leaves the physical form that we fully realize this." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

What is the Carana?

The Mangala Caranam is the auspicious invocation of the holy feet. This initial step is a prayer for the divine presence. The holy feet, or lotus feet, represent the Guru's grace. We pray for the Guru to enter and reside within our home. Wherever the Guru is, there is supreme bliss and auspiciousness. The dust from those feet is the holiest substance. This devotion establishes the foundation for all spiritual practice. The entire path flows from this reverence for the sacred source. "Gurusvāmī jī, please rest today here, step your holy feet in my house." "Nothing is holier and higher than the dust of the Gurudev’s lotus feet." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

What can we do for our passed away loved ones?

When someone departs, the appropriate prayer is the Mahāmṛtyuñjaya Mantra. This mantra is a powerful invocation for the soul's journey. It is a prayer to God for the forgiveness of the departed's deeds. Its purpose is to guide that person towards the divine light. The focus is on seeking mercy and a positive transition for the soul. The act of recitation itself is the beneficial thought and speech for such a moment. It serves as a spiritual support. The mantra is considered a key practice in this context. It aligns intention with sacred sound. The recommendation is direct and specific for this solemn occasion. "Pray to God for forgiveness of their deeds and to guide that person towards the light." Question of our age: the water

When the asurī śakti comes into power, distraction begins. This age is marked by wars, earthquakes, and floods. The planet now faces great challenges, threatened by its own child, humanity. What is called development is a path to destruction through pollution. The result is the loss of life and the planet itself. Wars have occurred in the name of religion and resources; now water is in question. This is a water planet, and our bodies are mostly water. The only hope is to keep the planet green, protect its waters, and control pollution consciously. "When the last tree will be chopped off and the last fish will die, you will realize that you can't eat the money." "Most of the destruction of the environment is from highways... that salt will destroy the ground and the life in the sweet water rivers." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

You can not reach the Atma without the body

Śrī Gaṇeśa is the deity of auspiciousness and the remover of obstacles. Remember him at the start of any new endeavor to ensure it proceeds without hindrance. Śrī represents prosperity and spirituality, and Gaṇeśa is the lord of all elements and beings. One cannot reach the ultimate reality directly, just as one cannot approach a president without first passing through clerks, or know the soul without the body. Therefore, honor Gaṇeśa as a sacred intermediary. Place his image respectfully in your home. Similarly, holy scriptures are not mere books but the embodied voice of pure souls; only those with pure hearts will find true knowledge within their words. "Anything you begin in your life and you wish that there should be no obstacles, then remember Gaṇeśa." "Those whose heart is pure will cause śabda melā, they will find the answer in the words." Krishna, the Karma Yogi

Karma is the supreme, impersonal law governing all existence, even God. God operates within this law, granting outcomes according to one's accumulated karma, not in defiance of it. A story illustrates a king who, becoming a renunciant, chose not to worship deities bound by temporary heavenly karma, nor even God who is subject to it, but to bow directly to karma itself. All action, good or bad, performed through body, mind, speech, or wealth, constitutes karma. The mental intention is primary, as negative thought is itself a karmic act before any physical deed. Speech, once released, is an irrevocable action with profound consequences. Thus, well-being and spiritual success, as in yoga, are rooted in understanding and engaging with this fundamental law. "God Himself is bound to it. He can only grant us according to our karma." "If you think negatively, you have already performed that karma mentally before you enact it physically." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Vigyan Deep Gita

The holy book's name reveals its essence: Vijñāna is the specific science of the Self, Dīpa is the inner light, and Gītā is the song of that glory. This song connects one to immortal truth. Unlike fleeting worldly pleasures, the truth within holy books is eternal and unchanging. Reading these immortal words always opens new perspectives, offering fresh insight with each encounter. The same essential truth appears across all holy scriptures, though cultural expressions may vary. These words are nectar, uniting the seeker with supreme reality. "Whenever you read [a true holy book], you can gain more knowledge or new knowledge." "These holy words are known as Amar Vākya, Immortal Words... because they unite and connect us with reality." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Satsang makes the man god-man

The summer program is a dedicated time for spiritual practice and stabilization. Throughout the year, life's fluctuations create unstable mental patterns. Daily situations cause constant changes in thoughts and emotions, preventing a steady state of being. This instability is like electrical fluctuation, requiring a stabilizer. Spiritual practice, like mantra and prayer, serves as that stabilizer to steady the mind. Life presents many difficulties for everyone, which can become opportunities for development. The purpose of this time is to clean the inner mirror of dust collected over the year. Regular prayer and mantra will keep that mirror clean. "One day you are very happy, the other day not so happy. This means the state of your mind or your being is not stabilized." "The mantra, prayer, is a meditation; it is that stabilizer. It shall make steady your mind and your emotions." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Live and let live

You must be a light that enlightens the darkness of negative speech by rearranging your thinking. Human consciousness contains the divine capacity to unite the universe, so it must not be polluted, or suffering continues. Your words are more destructive than atom bombs; measure them, for a spoken word cannot be taken back. The answer for everyone is to live and let live, to be happy and make others happy. Teach what you have learned, but not as a master, or it will not function. Your life is in your hands; make it happy and make others' lives happy. If you lack peace within yourself or your small group, you cannot achieve world peace. Therefore, concern yourself only with your real Self. "Speak such a language that while speaking, you are happy and you make others happy." "Be the change you want to see." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Everyone have a share according to his or her capacity

The Guru Upaniṣad is the wisdom heard by a disciple sitting near the master. Different sages instructed their disciples, creating the Upaniṣads. The teaching is a flowing river; aspirants collect its water according to the capacity of their vessel, their own consciousness. Those with pure hearts receive much, while those with doubt or negativity receive little or misunderstand. Negative qualities like jealousy and greed dirty the vessel, corrupting the wisdom received. A snake fed milk still produces poison, symbolizing a corrupted nature. Bamboo symbolizes a hard, egoistic nature that creates conflict and absorbs nothing, its internal knots blocking understanding. A practitioner must root out such thorny qualities. One must purify the inner field to receive the sacred seed. "Upar se bhare, niche se jhare, Gurū Mahārāj uskā kyā kare." "Tan kī cheṭī sāf karāo, bhī oṁ kā bōnā hai." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

What is the bindu chakra?

The Bindu Chakra is a center at the crown of the head that produces ambrosia. It is seen as a whorl in the hair. This center supports longevity and memory, developed through specific yoga practices. The nectar it yields is not a conventional sweetness; its taste is different, akin to enlightenment. Enlightenment is the light of wisdom, not physical sight. This ambrosia exists as minute drops, yet its radiance is potent. Its awakening corresponds to the divine vibration generated within. "I enter into the vegetation as the nectar, the sweetness through the moonlight." "Enlightenment does not mean you close your eyes and see a great deal of light, as you see with open eyes now." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Control your destiny, do not wait for the change idly

Kriyā practice transforms destiny by purifying stored karma and cultivating a new, protective power. If you cannot help others, at least do not harm them, for destiny does not forgive. Understanding mantra is understanding destiny, recognizing the human as the center of cosmic energy. Kriyā purifies the bodily systems by reaching the consciousness where karma is stored. Like stirring settled dust in a water tank, it agitates accumulated karmic residues. Mantras and positive mental tendencies act as a filter. Your original destiny remains, but you develop a parallel, more powerful destiny through practice. This new destiny, fueled by selfless service and adherence to the Guru's word, offers protection via grace. Therefore, do not neglect your spiritual practice. "Everyone else may forgive you, but destiny will not. That is the truth." "Your original destiny will still be there. But somehow, you will develop another destiny in parallel; you will cultivate another power that runs alongside it and can overtake the first." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Place of the spirituality and the healing power of wisdom

The body is a temple for the Ātmā and must be kept divine through daily cleaning, prayer, and ceremony, which are spiritual acts, not religious ones. While religion and spirituality are hard to divide, one analogy is that religion is the outer skin of a banana, protecting the inner fruit of spirituality, yet we often fight over these outer things. Tolerance, mutual understanding, and harmony are vital. A frog in a small pond believed its world was the entire universe until placed in a vast, harmonious ocean, realizing a much larger and more harmonious world exists. Many may not yet have experienced this taste of tolerance and freedom. "Religion is the outer skin of the banana, and spirituality is the inner part, the fruit." "My God, I didn't even think... that the world could be bigger than my world and more harmonious." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Divine will and karma

The distinction between Divine will and karmic destiny is essential. Bad thoughts and actions arise from denying or misunderstanding Divine will, not from the Divine itself. A story illustrates this: a disciple, believing God is in everyone, did not flee a mad elephant, thinking it contained God and would not harm him. He was injured. His master corrected him, noting he failed to see God also in the people warning him to flee. This shows ignorance leads to poor action. It is easy to claim "I am not the doer," but we often forget this principle when we desire something. We must use our discrimination. Do not assume all you do is Divine will; it may be your destiny, which is the reaction of your past karmas. That is the will of your karmas, not Divine will. "Bad deeds and bad thoughts come from negating the will of God." "Do not think that now whatever you will do is Divine will. It may be your destiny, and destiny is the reaction of your karmas." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Celebration days should remain on their place

The observance is a remembrance, not a celebration. It is a time to pay homage through prayer, song, and good acts in the name of the departed. For a worldly person, prayers are offered for liberation or for the well-being of the departed soul. For a departed divine being, prayers seek blessings and forgiveness, as from the astral level they see all actions. The duty of every ashram is to organize this satsaṅg on the correct day, regardless of attendance or work schedules. Time does not wait; the observance must happen on its appointed date. This practice is self-sustaining within the tradition. "From that astral level, they see everything through and through: what you did and what you are doing." "The full moon doesn’t wait for Sunday or the weekend to be full." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

The precious does not praise itself

A spiritual practitioner's ego obscures true attainment. A man meditated for decades, lamenting he gained no powers. A bird's dropping angered him; his glance coincided with its death, inflating his pride. He journeyed to a village to proclaim his greatness. A girl drawing water repeatedly asked his name, Sitalpurī, meaning 'the cool, peaceful one.' After he drank, she stated he was not cool but a 'hot purī,' consumed by anger. She revealed she knew of the bird, saying, "I practiced." He collapsed, realizing his ego was visible to one who practiced yoga in daily life. We do not see our own ego, just as eyes see everything but themselves. By looking within through meditation, one sees both beautiful qualities and negative ones like jealousy and anger. The great are those who master ego, not destroy it. This mastery is the key to genuine spiritual attainment. "Why don't you get siddhi or samādhi now that you have been practicing for so many years?" "I practiced yoga in daily life." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Mediate purely like the bamboo

We are born to serve, to help each other. One hand cleans the other; with only one hand, cleaning is difficult. To be alone is to be individualistic, selfish, and full of doubt. A yogī is not so. Life is beautiful; we are blessed. We pray to be an instrument for service. God has a garden where all creatures seek His divine look. A bamboo in the garden repeatedly asks to be God's. God says He loves it but will cause it pain. He explains He must cut a branch to make a flute, whose divine sound will open hardened hearts and create harmony. The bamboo accepts. Later, God says He must cut the bamboo's main trunk to use it as a channel, a pipe, to bring water to a thirsty land. The bamboo bargains, asking God to visit it daily, or it will stop the water. God promises to be constantly present, so the bamboo becomes the channel through which divine love flows. We must be that strong, holy bamboo, the instrument God carries. "Lord, give us the chance to serve with these hands which you gave me." "Be that channel through which the love of God flows; be that channel." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Trees are the memory and witness

Trees hold the memory of divine moments and spiritual revelations. Scriptures were composed and enlightenment was attained beneath them. They faithfully witness all events, enduring every condition. Human life is also a tree, with roots in the brain and branches as limbs, as described in the Bhagavad Gītā. The Vedas speak of one universal God present in every atom and being. This Divine Principle governs all, and from time to time, it manifests through incarnations. Other beings are born according to karma, which is reincarnation. The divine will governs everything; no worldly power can change this universal truth of dharma. Only devotees, through surrender and love, can transform adharma into dharma and alter karma. "From time to time, I manifest myself through my yoga māyā, to protect the dharma." "Not even a blade of grass or a tree leaf can move without my divine will." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Slower breathing -- longer life

Every breath is a precious diamond, for its total number in a lifetime is fixed by destiny. You cannot increase this count, but you can slow the rate of breathing. Those who practice prāṇāyāma and meditation are not ruled by fear, jealousy, or anger. A person who is angry or jealous breathes too quickly and kills their own healthy cells; this is a form of lifelong suicide. There are two kinds of devils: one that drinks the blood of others, and the second, which is your own anger, drinks your blood and the blood of others. Jealousy is a constant, unhealthy fixation, unlike the healthier thoughts of a beloved. By calming the breath through spiritual practice, one finds peace and a reduced, comfortable breath rate. "Holy Gurujī in a bhajan said this. Don’t worry, Guru will protect you." "The second kind of Rākṣasa is your anger. It drinks the blood of others and your own blood." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Take your destiny into your hand

Ultimately, you are the one who must help yourself by remaining steadfast under the shelter of the Guru's grace. The most difficult spiritual practice is to observe your mental modifications. You must ensure no thoughts enter that weaken your willpower for practice or create doubts in your devotion. All other disciplines are not as important as this primary task. The essential aim is to keep your consciousness uninfected. Guard your mind constantly. Stay under the umbrella. This vigilance is the core practice. Self-help is achieved through this surrendered vigilance. The path requires this internal guardianship above all else. "To observe your vṛttis, to ensure that no thoughts enter your consciousness which weaken your willpower to practice your spiritual sādhanā." "All other sādhanās are not so important compared to this: to take care of your consciousness, to ensure your consciousness is not infected." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Prana

Prāṇa is the essential life force and the very substance of existence. All living beings are holders of prāṇa. This energy animates the body and departs at death. Prāṇa is intricately linked to nourishment. The soul's journey, as described, enters vegetation and grain, making food sacred. A cosmic design established hunger to motivate activity within a mortal world. This system operates on life consuming life, a natural balance of cruelty. Humans, however, possess a distinct intellect or buddhi. This powerful tool can be educated for good or ill and must be protected through good company. Prāṇa is a subtle energy that enables all functions: memory, speech, and feeling. It is present in pure nourishment, and modern impurities degrade it, affecting health and consciousness. Ultimately, prāṇa is divine, the foundation of life to be respected in all forms. "Prāṇī means a holder of the prāṇa." "Life will eat life. Nature is cruel. In nature there is cruelty, but in nature there is a balancing principle." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Tyaga

Tyāga is the essence of true renunciation without expectation. When you give, you must not keep count, as with a child. Counting begins when attachment ends, like with a former friend or spouse, and that counting destroys tyāga and friendship. Between true friends, there are no bills or credit. Giving credit to a friend requires tyāga; consider it a gift to preserve the relationship, for demanding repayment breaks the trade of love. This principle extends to business, where partnerships often end in misunderstanding, diverting wealth to lawyers. Therefore, do not enter business with friends. If you must, establish clear terms and be prepared for a bitter end. These are life instructions for happiness. Tyāga and friendship are inseparable. "If you want to destroy your good friendship, then give credit." "When you ask, 'When are you going to pay me my money back?' the trade of love, the friendship trade, is broken." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Anger

The spiritual path is endangered by distraction at the final threshold. A blind man guided himself along a wall through a vast hall to find the exit. Each time he neared the door, an itch or a moment of anger caused him to remove his hand, and he missed the opening. Human life is the door to escape rebirth, but we are distracted by desire, anger, and ignorance, causing us to miss it. A practitioner's lifelong effort can be lost in a sudden flash of anger, which acts as a thief stealing everything at the very threshold. We must overcome anger through discipline and devotion. We are fortunate to have the chance for spiritual practice, which our ancestors often could not. Our gatherings are for renewal, like recharging a depleted battery through practice and meditation. Human life is for more than animal instincts; it is for righteous action and sincere spiritual practice in every aspect of daily life. "Anger is that thief, that bandit, who will steal everything from you right at the door." "Eating, drinking, sleeping, and procreating are things animals can also do. But humans are not born only for this." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Gurukripa

The Guru's grace is not a transaction but an automatic transmission within a bond of love, received through service and understanding. You cannot buy grace with money or work; it is not a commodity to be handed over. It is a cosmic process. The relationship is illustrated by the metaphor of dyeing a cloth. One prays to be dyed in the color of devotion, a permanent hue that does not fade across lifetimes. This ultimate coloring is not done by any person here; it happens automatically, from both sides, within that sacred connection. It is the root of everything. "Even if the Guru wishes to, he cannot simply give you this grace. It is not a commodity like an apple that can be handed over; it is a cosmic process." "I desire neither red, yellow, green, nor purple; I wish only to be dyed in your color. And what is His color? It is devotion—bhakti." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Guruvakyam

The rarity of true disciples necessitates a path of absolute purity. Guru-vākya is rare, understood only by devotees. Rare disciples exist, so one must be careful when becoming a guru. Disciples are tested; most are fall overs, not true jewels. The supreme self as sound resides everywhere but is realized only through practice like Anuṣṭhāna and Nāda Yoga. Success in Nāda Yoga requires purifying the body. Purify language by not speaking negatively about anyone for twelve years. Purify the body to attain Dev Bani, the voice of the goddess. Spirituality means purity through body, mind, words, and behavior. Anuṣṭhāna purifies the unconscious, subconscious, and conscious minds to enter the superconscious. "How dear it is to me. The words, the Guruvākyam, all I know. Others will not understand." "Purify your body, and then you will attain the second level of your body, which is called Dev Bani." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Anusthana

Destiny, the product of one's own karmas, is the greatest obstacle. To remove obstacles, one undertakes anuṣṭhāna, a disciplined resolve involving renunciation and ritual. Something must be offered to achieve a desired aim. Mantra is essential; without it, practice is lifeless. This discipline requires pure thought, body, and action. Obstacles will arise to be faced and removed. Continuous work itself is a form of anuṣṭhāna. The key is unwavering self-discipline. Through sustained practice, one becomes the victor. "Renounce and enjoy." "Always enter the kingdom of the Lord through the gate of sacrifice." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Creation

The origin of all creation is divine sound. In the beginning, only empty space and consciousness existed in perfect balance. A divine will arose within that consciousness, manifesting as the primordial sound Aum. This sound is the form of the supreme, a continuous resonance throughout the universe. From this resonance, the elements of creation sequentially emerged. Our true nature is that original state of unified consciousness, which meditation seeks to rediscover. The knowledge of this totality is described in the ancient Vedas. "The most ancient literature we have says, 'I am one. And now I will multiply.'" "The form of God is resonance, and that can be heard anywhere." Filming location: Maribor, Slovenia

Mental polution

Mastering the wild horse of the mind is essential for happiness and solving life's problems. Mental pollution from greed, anger, and fear is the source of humanity's suffering. Your physical and psychic condition is according to your thinking. Restless thoughts create personal and impersonal problems. Yoga means to master thoughts, not to become thoughtless, as thoughts are the nourishment and support for life. The thoughts should not be out of control. One must become a friend to the mind, which cannot be done with force. A wild horse is tamed not by riders who force it, but by a man who patiently observes it, gives it grass and water, and becomes its friend. The mind is that wild horse; observe your thoughts without force to solve problems through self-treatment. "Your condition—both physical and psychic—is according to your thinking." "Thoughts are our nourishment, and thoughts are the support for our life to exist." Filming location: Ljubljana, Slovenia

Bhava

Bhāva is the inner value determining all spiritual gain or loss. Bhāva signifies devotion, love, emotion, and the inner relationship you hold sacred. Without it, nothing happens. Consider gold: its weight remains constant, but its market price fluctuates. Your financial gain or loss is in that changing value, not the metal. Similarly, the divine is constant like gold. Your benefit is determined by the bhāva you hold. If bhāva diminishes through doubt or conflict, the benefit is lost. This principle governs the relationship with a master. Losing confidence or bhāva means losing everything. Dispassion, motivation, and practice cease. You may claim the identity, but without practice, it is empty. This occurs because the foundational bhāva was lost. "If there is no bhāva, nothing happens." "How much bhāva you have towards God determines your benefit." Filming location: Ljubljana, Slovenia

The Light of knowledge

True knowledge is the knowledge of the Self, which ends all suffering and karma. This Self-realization is the ultimate answer, like a light that reveals everything clearly, making one the knower of all time. However, this absolute Self cannot be realized while one remains attached to unreality. Duality is ignorance; only the one Brahman is everlasting. All forms and creation are temporary and will be destroyed, but Brahman, like space, is the indestructible Self within. We are not the body but are covered by attachments and negative qualities. We must move from theoretical knowledge to practical realization through meditation. "Where there are two, it is not everlasting; it is unreality." "Absolute existence, everlasting knowledge, is within you. You are that." Filming location: Croatia

Maitri Bhava

Cultivate the power of friendship, or maitrībhāva. Patañjali taught that immense strength lies in friendship. The Vedic sentiment "may all be happy" embodies this feeling. It is very difficult to acquire true friends, which requires dedication and an open heart. Therefore, the gathering is a place to make many friends, who are your well-wishers. Never think "I do not like to go there because they do not like me," as this is a self-destructive thought that surrenders one's intellect. In any field of life, this remedy of friendship, kindness, and love leads to success and happiness. It is you who can make friends or make yourself unhappy, so do not give up this maitrībhāva. "I am longing for my brothers and sisters of my Gurudev's gatherings. When I remember them, my eyes fill with tears." "Those who are destined to receive great suffering, their intellect is taken first." Filming location: Croatia

Renounce the fruits of your actions

Your right is to action alone. You are born for action, equipped with instruments for work and perception, along with a unique mind and intellect for decision. Your entitlement is solely to perform your duty. You inevitably act, yet you cling to expecting specific results. The instruction is clear: your right is to the work alone, never to its fruits. This is because your understanding of action's full consequence is limited. The outcome belongs to a higher authority who comprehends the complete picture. Relinquish your claim to the results. "Your right is to work alone, but never to the fruits thereof." "Let God decide. He is the ultimate authority." Filming location: Croatia

Who is Yogi

The path requires mastering senses and controlling mind to merge one's self with the self of all beings. This state is very hard to achieve. When attained, one performs action without being affected by it; though doing, you are not doing. The practitioner's soul must be pure: without jealousy, anger, hatred, complexes, or greed. We possess these challenging qualities in abundance. "It concerns one who has mastered his senses and controlled his mind; whose self has become one with the self of all beings." "At that time, though you are doing, you are not doing. Your action then has no more effect on you." Filming location: Croatia

YIDL - the perfect system

Yoga in Daily Life is a complete system, not merely physical exercise. We care for our world, environment, and humanity's future, and we are responsible. Do not let practice be influenced by selfish critics. Cultural and religious differences have caused suffering. We are civilized and can reach Mars, yet we still struggle for happiness. Happiness and love are universal rights, which this system addresses. Thousands work for this globally; millions practice and benefit. It is like a flowing river from which all can drink. "Everyone has a right to them, and Yoga in Daily Life has touched upon that point." "It is like a river; it is flowing, and anyone can drink its water." Filming location: Croatia

Khatu Pranam

Khatu Praṇām is a vital yoga series for holistic harmony. I designed this sequence, which research and practitioners indicate strengthens the immune system and regenerates the body. After work, three to four rounds relieve fatigue and stress, bringing new energy. Practice a minimum of five rounds daily for balance. Unlike Sūrya Namaskāra, Khatu Praṇām affects every chakra, including the Sahasrāra. Its postures, like Śaṅkāsana and Vajrāsana with Yoga Mudrā, benefit the digestive system and psyche through dynamic movement and breath influence. Make it part of your daily program, especially when tired; it replaces stimulants like coffee, offering physical, mental, and spiritual motivation. "It creates harmony in the body, harmony in the mind, and harmony of the soul." "It will replace your coffee and chocolates, and offer much more." Filming location: Croatia

My Gurudev gave me a hint

The spoken word is a universal arrow, understood individually. Sacred texts resonate because they address our inner needs. We all carry burdens to resolve, often silently. Satsaṅg provides the hints for this inner awakening. You cannot have enough of it, for each gathering is unique. You may attend countless times before receiving the precise word you have sought across lifetimes. Just as an artist practices relentlessly to become a champion, so must one listen to satsaṅg. The same sentence, heard a thousand times, may finally pierce through. A story illustrates this. An elderly, poor couple went to gather wood. A deity wished to grant them gold coins placed on their path. That day, the couple, pondering the plight of the blind, chose to blindfold themselves to practice walking without sight. Walking thus, they stumbled upon the gold, cursed it as stones placed by a fool, and passed it by. Their intellect and discernment had blinded themselves. The world is the forest, and you carry your karmas. When intellect operates without the eyes of devotion and dispassion, it becomes blind. You may walk the same path for years, but on the day the gold appears, you are not present or are inattentive. You miss the one great chance. "The same sentences you have heard a thousand times may, this time, be the arrow that pierces through and through." "Just on that day, something is there for you, and you are not in satsaṅg. You have missed a great thing." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

How can a ruler be succesfull?

A true ruler must synthesize all yogic paths. To be a Karma Yogi is to work for the country and its people. To be a Bhakti Yogi is to serve them with love and care for their spiritual development. To be a Jnana Yogi is to possess wisdom. Only such a person, a Raja Yogi—a king of yoga and self-discipline—can be successful. Any other will fail. This synthesis is the exclusive qualification for true kingship. "Only such a person can be the true king—the king of yoga and self-discipline." "And that can be only the king, the king, the king." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Only a real master can lead yoo

Every day is a golden day for the saint, not the worldly person. A saint can be a householder, but a householder is not automatically a saint. A diamond has no pride, whether in garbage or treasure; we are the ones who prize it. The problem is self-made masters and teachers. A story tells of a fox, saved by a rock during a flood, who decided to fast like a great yogi. When a rabbit floated by, he immediately abandoned his fast, thinking God had sent it. A wave carried the rabbit away, and the fox thanked God for preserving his discipline. Such self-made masters are dangerous and blind, unable to lead others. First, we must have a spiritual lineage and heritage, then achieve something and remain faithful. Even in household life, one can be spiritual. "Let others prize you; you should not prize yourself." "A self-made master cannot lead you. That is a blind one leading the blind." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Tulsidas: The company of a saint is rare in this world

True spiritual wealth, not worldly attachments, is the real and lasting fortune. Satsang and divine discourse are rare. Worldly riches like family and wealth are common and do not bring true happiness, as even sinners possess them. Spiritual richness, however, accompanies the soul across many lifetimes. This is the real wealth. It is gained through the rare companionship of saints. Material wealth, born of ignorance, is easily earned by anyone. Spiritual practice repays the difficult karmic debts of past lives, which is harder than settling a debt for food. "Sant Samāgam Harikathā Tulsidurlabdhoi." "Spiritual richness is the real wealth." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Universe and yoga

Yoga is the universal balancing principle, as ancient as creation itself. Before manifestation, only an indescribable void and awake consciousness existed in perfect harmony. This consciousness, residing within the cosmic mother, held no desire. Then willpower arose—the desire to multiply. This first desire was the sound OM. From this primordial vibration, the three qualities and the elements were sequentially created: fire, air, water, and earth. Over billions of years, all solar systems and planets formed from these elements. This same balancing principle of creation exists within you, governing the five elements, mind, and consciousness. Imbalance is illness or chaos; balance is health and harmony. Thus, yoga is the union of individual consciousness with the cosmic source. We seek happiness because our true nature is that cosmic joy; temporary worldly joys eventually yield sorrow. True, lasting joy is found in realizing the Self. Yoga is the path of perfection

Yoga is the universal path encompassing all aspects of life and consciousness. Its vast scope includes health, peace, art, and spiritual development. Many specific paths exist, such as Bhakti or Karma Yoga. One must choose a single path according to personal capacity, as all ultimately lead to unity. Perfection on this path requires time and varies by endeavor. A common error is abandoning practice upon feeling accomplished, which causes one's attainment to diminish. Consistent, disciplined practice in all aspects is essential. Merely adopting one component, like diet, is insufficient without holistic commitment. This necessity for daily discipline is why true yogis are rare. "Yoga is the path to perfection." "God comes according to our imagination." Filming location: Prague, Czech Republic

Spiritual lineage

Spiritual development depends on the source of wisdom, not merely personal practice or a present teacher. A teacher in physical form remains connected to the physical world. The lineage from which their guidance flows is therefore essential. Our lineage descends from the Himalayas through Ālak Purījī, Devapurījī, Mahāprabhujī, and Holī Gurujī. Their energy is transferred through this descent. Wisdom flows like water downhill, from master to disciple. One must be cautious of self-proclaimed masters, as a true diamond never declares itself. A great one never speaks about oneself. The connection is the vital link. "The spirituality or wisdom which comes through that guiding Master... The source from which that spirituality is coming is crucial." "A diamond cannot just say, 'I am a diamond.' Others have to say, 'Oh, this is a diamond.'" Filming location: Prague, Czech Republic

Be healthy with "Yoga in Daily Life"

Self-knowledge begins with knowing the body. This practice is for daily life, not occasional exercise. The higher aim is Self-realization, but we must first realize the body, as daily complications show we do not understand it. Haṭha Yoga is great and can lead to Self-realization. We have difficulties due to bodily impurities, so we begin immediately with the six cleansing actions: Netī, Dhautī, Bastī, Naulī, Trāṭaka, and Kapālabhātī. This is to feel clean and pure, but one should not be fanatical. One should perform Śaṅkha Prakṣālana every third month, Netī daily, and Dhautī weekly, along with Prāṇāyāma and other practices. Thus, Haṭha Yoga instructs inner purification. "To know thyself means first to know thy body." "Haṭha Yoga can lead you to Self-realization." Filming location: Vienna, Austria

Divine nourishment

The atmosphere of the home must be kept pure, which requires removing sources of negative energy. A primary example is the immediate removal of a human body after death, as its presence attracts harmful forces. However, a significant inconsistency arises in modern practice. While people correctly remove deceased family members, they simultaneously store the dead bodies of animals in their kitchen freezers. This act contradicts the very principle of purity, as these animal corpses—whether chicken, fish, or other meat—are also dead things. Maintaining such items in the home, a place meant for living energy, can be a direct source of ongoing life problems and spiritual disturbance. The logical flaw is in applying the principle selectively to humans while ignoring it for animals, despite both being dead matter. Furthermore, the broad condemnation of "dead things" creates an inconsistency, as it would logically extend to all dead organic food, not just meat. "People do remove their family members when they die; the body is taken away. Yet, they bring the dead bodies of animals and store them in the freezer." "I tell you that the life problems you have may stem from that, because you constantly have dead food there." Filming location: Australia

Control Your Emotions

Solitude is a blessing for self-reflection, not loneliness. Many couples quarrel due to inner dissatisfaction and emotional impurity, leading to aggression like throwing objects. Such violence signifies a lack of emotional control and lower spiritual development. To achieve harmony, purify yourself through positive actions, good company, meditation, mantras, prayers, and shared activities like singing together. True connection transcends mere physical love. "Be happy you are alone, that you have time to meditate." "A man who raises his hand on his wife has raised his hand on the entire universe, never." Filming location: Australia

Oh God Beautiful

God is within you, and you have already seen God, but you don't accept Him. God has two forms: the formless in every element and all living creatures. You have seen this beauty but do not accept it, wanting to see with closed eyes instead of opening them. Self-realization will come in the last minute of your life, so you must wait. Even divine figures like Rāma, Kṛṣṇa, Jesus, and Buddha prayed and meditated lifelong, showing it is a continuous job. For a happy family, cultivate love daily. For health, eat healthy food daily. Continuity is key. In yoga, practice gentle exercises without competition, as nothing is permanent. Do gentle things, not extremes that exhaust you, yet help others even when exhausted. Gentle postures, prāṇāyāms, and sāttvic nourishment accept your body and spirit. "God is within you, and you have already seen God, but you don't accept Him." "Self-realization, God-realization—you will realize all this in the last minute of your life." Filming location: Australia

Dharma of the Family

We all originate from one source and are thus connected. You are born for a high duty, your dharma. If you protect your dharma, it will protect you. Understand your specific duties: the dharma of a mother, a father, a spouse. For a husband, nothing is more divine than his wife, and for a wife, nothing is more divine than her husband. In my culture, the word 'divorce' does not exist. The endless universe is the mother; all exists within her. Parents should pray for a divine soul before a child is conceived. The world suffers when this is forgotten. Your intellect is like a cow; if the cream is taken, feed the cow with love to get more cream. Buddhism, a branch of Hinduism, emphasizes dharma and karma. Your duty includes helping others in need. You have many worldly dharmas, but you must find your higher dharma. When you realize it, your worries will vanish like darkness at sunrise. Practices like yoga are good, but knowing your dharma is essential. A spiritual person understands the pain of others and thus cannot kill. We must fight for rights without weapons. "Dharma rakṣita rakṣita—if you can protect your dharma, then your dharma will protect you." "When the sun rises, the darkness will disappear, that's it; clarity will come in your life." How to keep your cholesterol level down

A simple remedy offers profound health benefits. Fenugreek seeds, taken before meals, can address numerous ailments. A personal blood test revealed dramatically improved results, astonishing the doctor. Joint pain may disappear within days, as evidenced by a woman who regained mobility. Digestive issues like heartburn and constipation can also be resolved. It helps regulate blood sugar and cholesterol. This inexpensive, accessible spice has no side effects for most, though caution is advised during pregnancy. "Take half a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds half an hour before eating." "You will think it was a dream." Filming location: Australia

Prayer for the Madrid Bomb victims

A prayer is called for in response to suffering in the world. We must work silently to help. We will hold a prayer for the victims and their families, for those recovering. Come with candles. It is outside; sign the papers to send condolences. This is how we act. Yoga is not just physical exercise or self-concern. We live in this world and must observe everything around us. We must give. Giving opens the heart. Greed defines poverty, while richness is having no wish for anything. "If you can give, then your heart will open." "The poor person is the one who wants to have more and more. And who is rich? The one who has no wish to have anything." Filming location: Australia

Control your tongue

True hunger is measured not by time but by simplicity of desire. Ayurveda defines health as eating only when hungry, a state where dry bread is as appealing as cake. Overeating is a slow suicide causing all illness. The stomach should be divided: one quarter for food, one for liquid, one for air, and one kept empty. This ensures you remain ever-hungry. Humans struggle to eat less and forgive. Beings in astral form are nourished by smell alone, which is why we offer food's fragrance before eating it as blessed prasāda. The cook should not taste food before offering it. Lack of control over the tongue associates one with base animal impressions. A story illustrates the tongue's persistent, troublesome nature despite good intentions. "One is hungry when seven-day-old dry bread is as tasty as a soft cake with cream." "To eat less and to forgive—these two things are very hard for humans." Filming location: Australia
