Do a good karma - Begin with organic food

The highest principle is non-violence, which means protecting nature. Destroying nature with chemicals is the greatest violence. Good karma is advising ecological, organic cultivation. Choose organic food; it supports health and can bring prosperity, as shown by one student's success. We support each other in this: you gain health and we gain health, creating mutual benefit. Begin by choosing natural things. Demand mineral water in glass bottles, not plastic, to avoid contaminants and for better taste. Publicly advocate for this by writing the message in shared spaces to influence others. This practice protects your health, your children's health, and the planet. Ahiṃsā Paramo Dharma: protect every creature, love them, feed them, do not kill them, and do not eat them. "To protect nature is the greatest act of non-violence; this is profoundly significant." "Write this message wherever you can—this is not vandalism." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Speciality of the Vajrasana

Vajrāsana is a posture of cultural dignity and physiological harmony. It aligns the body's subtle channels, balancing the solar and lunar energies within. The pose straightens the spinal column effortlessly, enhancing oxygen intake and circulation. This alignment relaxes the heart and digestive systems, promoting efficient function. Sitting in this posture after meals greatly aids digestion and can alleviate gastric issues. It also relieves tension in the shoulders, neck, and back, potentially reducing headaches. Regular practice supports the immune system and regulates metabolism without weight gain. The posture activates the Vajranāḍī, harmonizing many bodily systems. "In the moon there is a purak of the sun, and in the sun is the purak of the moon." "After practicing Vajrāsana for one month, you forget the medicine because Vajrāsana will help you all the time." Q&A - Don't avoid the Satsang

The sign of ignorance is believing one is too advanced for satsaṅg. Swāmījī gave a clear sign to such disciples: they are highly developed and need not attend. This development is in ignorance, making the thinking mistaken. Regardless of your degree of development, you should go. This question arises from some who, being among groups, think they are high and do not need it. Whoever does not go is the most ignorant. Mahāprabhujī stated the fortunate are those who can go. Every bhajan indicates satsaṅg's importance. You may miss a meal, but do not miss satsaṅg. "Fortunate are they who can go to satsaṅg." "You may miss a meal, but do not miss satsaṅg." Swamiji's message for the Rakshabandhan day

Rakṣābandhan is an ancient festival for societal peace and overcoming conflict between male and female. It began to counter discrimination against feminine power, emphasizing respect and protection. This love signifies harmony, peace, and understanding, not merely physical love. The festival is a universal duty for males to protect the dignity of all females, regardless of relation or age. It is cultural and universal, based on mutual respect. Yogīs should honor this day, remembering all sisters. This full moon in Śravaṇa Māsa unites Śiva and Pārvatī, initiating a special consciousness. "Love means harmony. Love means peace. Love means protection. Love means understanding." "Rakṣābandhan means protection. It is the prime duty of the male to protect the dignity of the feminine world." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Rakshabandhan - Day of Girls

Raksha Bandhan is a festival for protecting mental tendencies and developing self-respect. The ritual involves tying a protective thread, signifying a brotherly duty to offer protection and help. This bond is for siblings and can extend to others, but it must be genuine. Using it as a trick to pursue marriage is dishonest and wrong. A Raksha Bandhan brother can often be more helpful than a real brother. The festival includes exchanging presents based on age. It is a day celebrated with food sponsored by the boys for the enjoyment of all. "It becomes the duty of that boy to protect that girl and help her in all situations." "You should not do this trick, neither boys nor girls. If you do not have the genuine feeling, do not do it." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

One Miracle

The spiritual path requires a guide. Without a true guide, one cannot find the narrow path; attempting to ascend alone leads to a fall. Spiritual practice is a gradual, lifelong process of slow progress designed for normal life, where one can achieve liberation. We are fortunate to have direct access to guidance. Do not force control over uncontrollable desires, as that creates suffering. You cannot control desire without using discernment, a thinking process. The world is merely mind; how you think shapes desire. Change your thinking, and life becomes easier. Abide in bliss. "Without a Satgurū, you will not find the path; without Gurudev, you will not find it. Mark this, the path is very narrow." "You cannot control desires unless you use your viveka. It is a thinking process: how you think." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Hara Shakti

The Hara Shakti is the life force energy generated in the Manipura chakra, governing immunity and vitality. A strong Hara Shakti fortifies the immune system and fights all illnesses, acting as a protective warrior against invading infections. When this energy is weak, immunity declines and profound fatigue sets in, indicating improper chakra function. A specific exercise is offered to strengthen this force. Practicing it ten rounds, three times daily, will produce a significant change in the body's energy and resilience. This practice is the direct means to cultivate this essential guardian power. "The Hara Shakti fights against all illnesses." "When hara shakti is insufficient, immunity is not enough, and you will feel very tired." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Our Partner is PARABRAHMATMA

Surrender is the art of being shaped by the Divine. Like clay surrendering to the potter, we must allow ourselves to be formed. The clay becomes a priceless masterpiece after being worked and fired. Your ego will resist with negative thoughts, making you like an iron spoon in pudding that cannot taste its sweetness. You are the bee that creates the sweet life, not those allergic to spirituality. Do not search for a partner; it will come by destiny, not effort. Your true partnership is with the supreme through Self-realization, a complete merger like a river into the ocean from which there is no divorce. This union may come in this life or the next. "Who is searching will not find. And who is not searching will find." "When the river merges into the ocean... it cannot go out again." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

The Significance of Vajrāsana

Vajrāsana is a foundational posture with profound physical and spiritual effects. The pose is named for the Vajranāḍī, a primary energy channel ending between the big and second toes of each foot. Sitting in Vajrāsana stimulates this channel, which connects to higher brain centers, promoting immediate mental relaxation, concentration, and the dissipation of tension. Culturally, it is a posture of humility and respect in many Eastern traditions. Physically, it straightens the spinal column, aligning the chakras and increasing bodily energy and immunity. This alignment relaxes the diaphragm, allowing for deeper, natural breathing which benefits the lungs and relieves depression. The relaxed diaphragm also eases the entire intestinal tract, significantly aiding digestion. The Vajranāḍī's connection to the Maṇipūra Chakra at the navel is crucial for unifying vital energies and is considered a gateway for advanced spiritual states. Thus, Vajrāsana strengthens physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual readiness. "As soon as you sit in Vajrāsana, you immediately feel relaxed. All tensions dissipate; it concentrates the mind, releases tension, and removes frivolous thoughts." "Therefore, people who often feel tired should practice Vajrāsana. Sit for at least 15 minutes." Yoga - healthy way of life

Yoga is the science of body, mind, and consciousness. It was misunderstood, then associated with hippies and drugs, and labeled a sect, but truth prevails and it is now a global part of life. Modern life creates loneliness, but yoga fosters connection and solves life's purpose. Last century's meat consumption grew from subconscious wartime lack, and a human-centric philosophy dismissed animals, forgetting that all creatures are the soul. Observing an animal's innocence makes killing impossible, for love arises. Forgetting animals created an imbalance, with industrial farming destroying nature. Human greed for more leads to pesticide use, poisoning soil, water, and food, causing unnatural growth and illness. A new awareness seeks wellness through organic food, natural living, and vegetarianism, noting vegetarian children excel academically and yogic practitioners lead healthier, happier lives. Yoga in India is now widespread, with a third generation demonstrating its benefits, as human consciousness turns toward health. "Ahimṣā paramo dharmaḥ—the supreme, the highest principle is ahimṣā." "Prāṇī mātra mērī ātmā hē—all creatures are my soul." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Learn to endure

The seeker endures the paradox of truth and worldly life. We learn that Brahman is truth and the world is unreality, yet we live in a physical body composed of five elements. This body experiences hunger, thirst, anger, and desire, putting us to the test. With discrimination and intellect, one can practice titikṣā, which means to endure all situations while contemplating the Self. This contemplation asks, "Who am I?" recognizing we are not the body or mind but the ātmā. Yet we cannot escape the body. A core practice is cultivating a longing for liberation from worldly suffering. Troubles exist everywhere, in household or monastic life. The world is saṃsāra, where unwanted events occur and desired ones do not. Human nature fails to value what it has and cries for what it lacks, making endurance difficult. "Titikṣā means to endure all situations and circumstances in life while practicing Ātmā Cintan." "Ātmā Cintan means we try to direct all our concentration and all our energy toward liberation." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Intellect

Happiness depends entirely on you, as the world is a creation of the mind. Your thoughts determine your feelings. God gave humans intellect for happiness, not for abuse through unnatural or unethical behavior. Patañjali described problematic thoughts, or kliṣṭa vṛttis, as those opposing spiritual law and ethics, which inevitably cause trouble. Any thought emanating from consciousness eventually returns to the individual. Therefore, one must use intellect to discern actions and their consequences before acting. Impressions from the senses create thoughts, which lead to feelings and then physical action. Non-problematic, or akliṣṭa, thoughts support self-protection and development. Ultimately, there is no one else to blame for your state. "Any kind of thought or thinking which is against our spiritual path... those vṛttis will one day cause us troubles." "Any vṛttis, meaning any thought which goes out from the human consciousness... will sooner or later come back to the person." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic

Don't throw away the diamond!

A cowherd follows a mysterious cow into a cave, seeking its owner and a reward. In darkness, fear leads him to pray sincerely. He meets a radiant master who acknowledges his service but offers only a handful of barley, not money. Guided out, the cowherd discards the barley in anger. Only later does his wife discover a few remaining grains are actually diamonds, but it is too late to recover them. The story illustrates how we often fail to recognize spiritual wealth when consumed by worldly expectation and frustration, realizing its value only in hindsight after carelessly discarding it. "Sab dukha banjan—Please remove all my pain, suffering, sorrow, and trouble." "I must laugh very much that I see a fish thirsty in the water." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Dharsan of the saint living in you

Anuṣṭhāna is a sādhanā that purifies you and grants darśan of your true Self. The tongue is called the "cow," a milky cow that gives the nectar of health and speech. To "hold the tongue" means to repeat mantra and guide it to the palate's cave where ambrosia drips. Your mind must be the guide. Value even the briefest spiritual experience; do not dismiss it as a dream or physical flaw. Without this discernment, you may later realize you lost a true glimpse. All sādhanā requires the Guru's grace, or it is fruitless like food without salt. "The hormones produced by the tongue are the most important hormones for our entire health condition." "Even if it is a very small experience, a very short experience, do not think, 'So many years I am practicing, and suddenly I got light for five seconds and nothing is there.'" You can reach enlightenment also here in Vep

Our time here is precious and powerful. You have 48 hours remaining. Use them fully for practice; do not give up. From this concentrated effort, you will generate the energy needed to sustain you. Do not view this place as merely restrictive or unfair. After this period, you will return to the ordinary world of illusion. Yet, even now, enlightenment remains possible. Therefore, engage wholeheartedly. "After these 48 hours, jump into the Māyā." "from this energy, you will survive the whole year." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

King Janaka's dream

A king's dream reveals the nature of reality. He dreams of losing his kingdom, fleeing to a forest, and becoming a starving beggar. After being attacked, he awakens in his palace, confused about what is real. He seeks a guru to answer this, but many scholars fail. A sage with a deformed body arrives and is mocked. He laughs at the king for surrounding himself with those who judge by appearance, not inner truth. The sage teaches that neither the waking world nor the dream is ultimate reality. The true self, the witness of both states, is the only reality. This understanding liberates the seeker. Many lives are wasted searching outwardly without true spiritual association. Upon finding the right path, all wandering ceases. "Your inner self is the truth. The rest is all dreams." "Many times I lost the human life because I did not get that saṅgha." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

The fortunate ones who found the path of Sanathana Dharma

Sanātana Dharma is the eternal path, a highway without obstruction. We are fortunate to have found it under the shelter of our lineage. The essential discovery is the object of our meditation. The Guru is the central figure. A master is like a lit candle and a disciple an unlit one. When the unlit candle meets the burning one, light is transmitted; the disciple becomes the master. This is why it was said that those who understand the Guru become Gurudeva. Therein lies the critical difference between a guru and a paras stone. A paras stone turns iron into gold, but a guru transforms the disciple into a guru. That is the fundamental distinction. "The master is that candle which is already lit. The disciple is that candle which is still not lit. On the day when this candle which is not lit will come to that candle which is burning, you will get the light; the disciple will become the master." "Those who understand the Guru, they become themselves Gurudeva." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

This life is like a dream

Life is like a dream, with no difference between a dream and this life. A yogi asked Śiva to know His māyā. Śiva instructed him to go to a lake. Upon submerging, the yogi's consciousness shifted. He experienced death and then lived a divine life in the astral world. He was later born as a farmer, living a full life until death. He was then born as a nomad, who was later chosen by an elephant to become king. One day as king, he dreamed of his death and awoke from the vision. He emerged from the water after only a few seconds, having lived many lifetimes in his consciousness. Past time becomes a dream, and we cannot know if our current life is similarly a dream within māyā. "This life is like a dream. There is no difference between a dream and this life." "Past time becomes past. So we don’t know if we are also dreaming." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Yoga is more than asana and pranayama

Yoga is the divine protocol sustaining creation, not merely physical postures. Ancient seers discovered a system to preserve body, mind, and soul. This is the principle maintaining balance in all life. At creation, a divine parliament established a sustainable order. The central dilemma was maintaining this world. If no one died, all would become lazy. The solution was hunger, the digestive fire compelling action. Yet life eating life was deemed cruel and sinful, though necessary for function. Animals were instructed to eat freely, but this does not lead to liberation. Humans were given a unique capacity between the ears to choose liberation or bondage. Different beings are satisfied according to their nature, from fragrance for deities to spoiled smells for darker forces. This sustaining energy is yoga. Where there is energy, there is movement, progress, and life. Yogic postures derive from observing creatures, each with its underlying science influencing body, mind, and intellect holistically. "Therefore, that principle which is maintaining and balancing even our body... is there. There must be some power, some energy, and that is yoga." "So every āsana has its science, its psychology behind it. Therefore, yoga is not a sport, it is not gymnastics, but it is holistic." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Perfect holydays at the Gurukul -- Vep is a Gurukul at this time

The necessity of dedicated practice and sacred solitude for spiritual progress. Modern life, with its duties and distractions, often prevents discipline. The ancient advice is to periodically retreat into solitude, akin to a sacred holiday. Yet, modern holidays have become spectacles, losing their purpose. True retreat is a master-disciple setting for profound study. The remaining days here should be spent in contemplative silence, immersed in nature's beauty. The air is prāṇa, the vital life force given by God. Yoga is the principle of balance and ultimate unity. You are fortunate to possess and practice these powerful techniques. Those who stop practicing are unfortunate, as all potential comes to nothing without application. Mastery, like that of a sitar virtuoso, emerges only from relentless practice. Theoretical knowledge alone cannot bring success. "Without abhyāsa (practice), we cannot be successful." "My heart, my soul knows how difficult it is, the tapasyā (austerity)." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Yoga is harmony. Holy Guruji: One in all and all in one

Yoga is the universal principle of balance and union. It is the ancient equilibrium maintaining all visible and invisible elements in the cosmos. This same principle balances the five elements composing the body and all internal systems of mind and emotion. Where balance exists, harmony follows, leading to unity. Thus, yoga signifies the union of the individual with the cosmic consciousness. The first cosmic vibration, divine willpower or Icchā Śakti, was realized by yogis as the sound Oṁ. This sound represents the formless supreme reality, Parabrahman, from which the three fundamental qualities manifest. All creation, every element and living being, is a manifestation of that one supreme reality. Therefore, everything that sustains this universal consciousness is yoga. "Where there is balance, there is harmony. Where there is harmony, there is unity." "One in all, and all in one." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Without practice the theory is zero

The human body is a sacred instrument for liberation, yet we mistake our identity for it. Theoretical knowledge is worthless without practice, as we advise others wisely but become helpless in our own suffering. In the astral state, one perceives all but can act on nothing without the physical form. A soul then chooses its next birth from millions of possibilities, though destiny dictates the specific human life. We fervently promise to use a human body for devotion and liberation, and by divine mercy, we receive it with all past karma attached. After the arduous journey of gestation and birth, we immediately forget our promise, declaring independence from spiritual law. This arrogance returns us to darkness, squandering the precious chance for freedom. "Theory is zero compared with a gram of practice." "You have 8.4 million possibilities, but according to your destiny, only this life is meant for you." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Oh brothers and sisters, wake up!

Awaken, for the train of life is departing and will not return. Past time and past days are gone forever. Life requires balance, like a bird with two wings, found in truthful companionship. Human nature is restless, seeking constant change in friendships as in food. From birth we seek the mother's lap, then toys, then partners, and finally the lap of God. This ultimate refuge is not easily reached; one must first honor Mother Earth, who graciously accepts us. We need a trusted companion with whom to share everything, including our anger. "Past time, past days, a past bullet from a gun, and past salt that has left the body—none of these will come back." "Life is pain. Your days are passing. And those days that have passed will not come back." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Ayurveda should not be commercialized

Ayurveda and yoga have been degraded by widespread commercialization without real knowledge. True study requires five to eight years of serious commitment. Ayurveda is an ancient, spiritual science where a Vaidya must understand psychology and even communicate with herbs, preparing medicine with prayer. Do not study with a commercial goal; become a genuine expert and money will follow you naturally. Similarly, yoga is not the commonplace activity taught on every corner; it is endless wisdom, and decades of practice may not yet constitute a first step. "Money will run behind you like mosquitoes follow you when you go somewhere." "Some have been with me for thirty years, but still they have not even taken the first step." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

The play of the consciousness

Consciousness is the transparent foundation of spiritual development. Its purity determines spiritual progress. Spirituality is defined by purity across all levels of being. Consciousness becomes polluted by negative thoughts, ego, jealousy, greed, hatred, and the consumption of intoxicants or meat, which act like a virus. All of life unfolds within this conscious field. To see past, present, and future requires a consciousness free from the impurities of mala, vikṣepa, and āvaraṇa, achieved through dedicated spiritual practice. After this life, one faces the accumulated results of past actions alone, with the soul as the only witness to the complete record of one's life. "Everything is a play of the conscious base, or everything is played in the conscious." "There is no one to hear the judgment. But the ātmā is the sākṣī, the witness." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Spirituality is awakening in the whole world

Spiritual consciousness is awakening globally, particularly among new leaders in both religious and political spheres. This represents a significant shift in focus and priorities. However, this movement must be grounded in a profound inner experience. The ultimate requirement for genuine leadership is not merely thought but direct spiritual realization. The foundational step for any leader is to achieve a state of deep, meditative absorption. This inner attainment is presented as the essential prerequisite for effective outer action. The call is for a leadership rooted in transcendent awareness. "Spiritual consciousness is awakening." "But first, all leaders have to go to samādhi." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

To forgive means also to forget

The wheel of existence encompasses 8.4 million life-forms. The human is one among them. The ultimate reality is one, yet perceived duality in race, religion, or nation creates a path of suffering and conflict. Beyond the wheel of rebirth is the wheel of time and death, which claims all. Opposite this is the wheel of dharma. The human purpose is liberation through self-knowledge. Humans possess a powerful intellect, which is shaped entirely by education; this determines whether one becomes a doctor, thief, or saint. This intellect, fed by information from vibration and sound, often makes humans feel free to act without considering karmic consequences. One must understand an action's nature and results before acting. You are the king of your body and senses, not their servant. Yet, temptation leads one astray. The company of saints and discourse on the divine is rare. A true saint is one in whom all latent desires have ended, embodying contentment and peace. True forgiveness means to forget grievances completely. "Know thyself—this is the question that holds the answer to all your questions and the solution to all your problems." "Lord, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Recognise holiness in others

Equal vision sees all beings as the light of God, which is one's own Self. Sam dṛṣṭi is to look upon everything with the same eyes, for all beings exist in one's own state. A true sādhaka never praises oneself. Sādhanā is constant practice and prayer for purification. Never think one has reached everything, for that is decline. To keep the company of a saint and hear of God is rare and precious. See saintliness in others, not in oneself. First see God in others; then one can see Him within. This gathering recreates body and mind and informs the soul. The individual soul is a mixture of Ātmā and Anātmā. Through good karma one may go to heaven, but must return. The yogī wants mokṣa, oneness with Brahman. Diet and company matter profoundly. The guidance of the Guru progresses from mother and father to the spiritual Satguru, culminating in one's own Self. "All creatures, Ātmā and Paramātmā, are all the light of God." "If you cannot see Him in others, you definitely cannot see Him in you." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Anusthan practice made V

This sanctuary offers perfect peace and spiritual nourishment, free from all material and technological pollution. Modern holidays often become mental torture with constant noise, but here balance is maintained through daily spiritual practice. The environment itself is nourishment for the mind and heart. True heart nourishment comes from a heart-to-heart connection, which can be found even with a pet, not solely in human romance. This intensive spiritual practice is not a daily routine but a profound, periodic purification for body, mind, and soul, to be done only once or twice yearly. You are now renewed and must return to the hectic world. "The nourishment of the heart is another heart." "This Kriyānusthān is not a capsule program... It is like Saṅghaprakṣālana, which you do only three times a year." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

We are eating for living and not living for eating

Exercise and fasting are essential for maintaining energy and clarity in spiritual practice. Reduce your diet gradually while incorporating physical exercises and prāṇāyāma to preserve muscle strength and prevent weakness. These practices enhance your energy, decision-making, and vision. Hinduism observes numerous fasting days dedicated to various deities and lunar phases, embedding fasting deeply into spiritual life. The purpose is to sustain your energy. On fasting days, the consumed food becomes prasāda, which is typically rich, sweet, and fatty, providing necessary nourishment for the brain. Therefore, excessively reducing sugar is not advisable. "Stretching postures and prāṇāyāma will give you more energy, clear decisions, and clear vision." "On the fasting day, you get very rich food, because that becomes a prasāda, and prasāda is always sweet and fat, like ghee." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

It is not easy to eat less

A yogi increases energy and longevity by reducing ordinary food intake. Consuming less cooked, energy-dense food directly reduces the physical body's burden. This practice saves substantial resources over time, translating saved nourishment into extended vitality. Food enslaves through taste and becomes a source of self-harm. Therefore, moderate fasting is integrated into the techniques, but never extreme deprivation. Proper fasting uses sustaining liquids to maintain meditation focus, as hunger breeds distraction and inertia. Excessive eating demands more sleep, which then creates fatigue from the sleep itself, perpetuating a cycle of lethargy. "Food is our killer." "Sleep comes mostly from eating." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Get rid of the tamas guna

Overcoming tamas guṇa requires specific practices and dietary discipline. The sole method to eliminate tamas is through prāṇāyāma, śaṅkha prakṣālana, Haṭha Yoga kriyās, and eating sparingly. Consuming some ghee and sugar can be beneficial if properly digested through corresponding physical effort; for example, performing rounds of Khatu Praṇām for spoonfuls of sugar or butter. Physical āsanas are essential but should not be extreme. A balanced practice purifies tamas guṇa, preventing meditation from becoming a state of inert half-sleep. For specific needs like thyroid health, practices such as Sarvāṅgāsana and Matsyāsana as counterposes, along with Jālandhara Bandha and Ākāśī Mudrā, are prescribed. Dynamic movements like Aśvāsana Chalāsana also apply influence. After such practice, meditation brings deep harmony, uniting body, mind, and soul, allowing inner communication. "People who eat ghee and sugar do not get diabetes. Conversely, those who take excessive precautions often develop it." "Afterwards, you sit in meditation and feel happiness—a deep contentment. You become very harmonious, peaceful, and joyful." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

What the holy saints are telling us is the longer, but safe way

The safe path shown by the saints liberates one from danger and the cycle of birth and death. Many past lives were lost in ignorance, without understanding life's purpose. Without the Guru, one cannot grasp the secret meaning of existence. All creation has meaning; failing to understand it is our error. Through the Guru, that purpose is realized, dispelling all sorrow and unhappiness. The darkness of ignorance vanishes as the sun dawns within the heart. The merciful liberator guides and frees the individual souls, symbolized as swans. "Because without Gurū Dev, I could not understand the meaning, the secret, the purpose of this life." "I have ānanda. I am blissful, now I am in bliss." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

What is the importance of fasting

Fasting gradually reduces tamas guṇa, allowing the body to regenerate. Decrease your diet slowly, like reducing one spoon of rice daily from 100. In two months, you eat 40 spoons, a 60% reduction from the original. This steady decrease prevents sudden weakness. Fasting increases immunity, enabling the body to consume unhealthy cells. Memory strengthens, and mind, emotion, and intellect balance. Physical and emotional problems find equilibrium. More oxygen is stored, lung capacity improves, and appetite becomes good. Fasting benefits you personally, shifting focus from eating to living. "We shall eat for living, not live for eating." "Fasting is something for one's own good." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Accept yourself

Accept your natural self; it is inherently beautiful. A long nose is positive, like Gaṇeśa's. Do not use excessive makeup; let your skin regenerate. Use only necessary amounts. Unkempt beards are unnatural and unclean; keep your given hair washed and neat. Do not color your hair; artificial chemicals attract negative reactions from nature, like bees. Do not hide gray hair; it signifies dignified age. Maintain neat hair and clean dress, behaving properly without artifice. This approach also relates to environmental protection. Using less makeup reveals your true beauty over time. A car's paint does not change its fundamental age. "God has given you a beautiful color; leave it as it is." "A 20-year-old car, doesn't matter how much you will paint, is 20 years old." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

No one can change destiny but the Guru (from Ramayan)

The karmic record of destiny is unalterable. According to Vedānta, the record of one's life is written at birth by Vidhatā, the scribe of destiny. No one can delete this writing. A story illustrates this: the powerful Rāvaṇa confronted Vidhatā as she came to write the fate of his newborn daughter. Despite his threats, she explained she merely inscribes the karma of the soul; her pen moves according to that alone. Rāvaṇa, learning his daughter was destined to marry a crippled sweeper's son, ordered the infant killed. The child was set adrift but was found and adopted by a king, becoming a prince. Years later, through a series of events, Rāvaṇa's daughter married this very prince. Rāvaṇa realized he could not change the written destiny. Only by following the advice of the wise Guru can one navigate the ordained path. "When I am writing, it is not I who is writing. It is the karma, the destiny of that newly born soul. According to that, my pencil will move." "I can change everything, but not my fate, not my destiny." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Is the mantra secret?

The mantra is personal, but sharing it is not a mistake. Your practice is intimate, and the mantra is not meant for telling. However, if another person learns it, it does not matter and is no problem. If that person then chooses to practice with it, that outcome is also good. The initial rule of secrecy is immediately contradicted by complete permissiveness, creating a logical inconsistency. The purpose of keeping it private is left unexplained, as sharing is deemed not wrong. The benefit to others is presented as a separate, hypothetical good, disconnected from the act of sharing itself. "If others will practice, it's also good." "your mantra is not for telling." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Function of the mind

The mind is a mighty elephant requiring a goad for mastery. The mind is formed from ambitions, willpower, and ego; without these components, thought does not arise. Its true nature is elusive, like a hidden elephant described only through partial, sensory experiences. Intellectual theories cannot reveal it; direct realization through meditation is required. Therefore, control of the senses from the external world is essential. The required goad is the fear of one's own karma and past thoughts. This fear defines the limits of your capacity. When you are afraid, you learn your boundaries. "Everyone explains the elephant according to their experience. But where is the elephant?" "Everyone must have their own aṅkuśa. And that aṅkuśa is this: if you are not afraid of anything, then be at least afraid of your karma, your ex-thinking." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Who controls the mind is a king

You are the king of your senses, not their slave. Control the ten senses, especially passion and taste. Use them for need, not greed. The technique is through mauna, a scientific understanding targeting mind and intellect. Know the limit of intellect and the supremacy of practice over theory. Realization requires diving deep within to observe and excavate hidden emotions like anger and jealousy. Analyze yourself constantly. Ultimately, nothing in this world is yours; all relations are temporary. Visualize your ātmā as immortal oneness, not as individual duality, to find happiness. The mind is an elephant; know your aṅkuśa, your tool of control. Harmonize with it through kindness and mantra. If it disobeys, invoke higher guidance. "O my inner divine Self, you are the king, you are the king of your senses and your mind." "Nothing in this world is yours." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

To give eating is a good karma

True giving is recognizing the divine source of all. Nothing is ours; everything belongs to God. Giving to others is returning what is His, losing nothing. This act of seeing God in all creatures, like feeding the hungry, is profound karma. Domestic duty, such as cooking for family, can feel like an inescapable obligation, a chain. The original meaning of marriage as a sacred union is often lost, reduced to a series of transient commitments, unlike the lengthy, celebratory preparations of tradition. "Nothing is mine. Whatever there is, it is Yours, O Lord." "You are like that cow which is tied up while a fire is burning, and she cannot free herself." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Bhajan... and kirtan

The nature of bhajan is a personal devotional expression distinct from kīrtan. Bhajans are poems born from direct experience, containing teachings, explanations, and a dialogue of questions and answers to provide clarity and motivation. While both are paths of bhakti, bhajan encompasses more narrative and instructional content than the repetitive singing of a single divine name found in kīrtan. Its primary purpose is not performance for others but a personal act of singing. It is a means to express one's own inner state—whether joy or sorrow—and to communicate that feeling outwardly. "When you sing, you are not singing for others. You are singing for yourself, and to express your happiness or unhappiness to others." "Bhajans have teaching and explanations. They contain information, motivation, questions and answers, and clarities." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Aba Hama bhajan

Singing bhajan brings the direct experience of bliss and the cessation of mental activity. The happiness of divine unity is placed within the bhajan's form for any singer to experience. Observe your thoughts and feel the heart as waves of bliss circulate between it and the crown chakra. Reality, like the ocean, exists in different forms; wisdom is the cloud that brings the nourishing rain of nectar. This nectar is the Guru's word, the pure knowledge that quenches all thirst. When the mind is completely filled with this wisdom, all desires are purified and fearless stillness is attained. The transformative mantra turns base consciousness into gold. "Automatically, all vṛtti subsides. Automatically, all vṛtti ceases." "One drop of rain has more energy for the plants than one liter of water which you take from your water table." Purpose of the mauna...

The purpose of Mauna is inner observation to contemplate life's purpose and obstacles. Patañjali describes two kinds of thoughts: kliṣṭa, the negative thoughts creating trouble, and akliṣṭa. Overcoming negative mental modifications is essential, for everything is created from the mind. Your personal reality becomes as you think. This thinking is potent; all creatures can sense it. Approaching a dangerous dog with loving thoughts prevents harm, while fear invites it. Mauna facilitates analyzing and purifying these mental patterns. Observing silence develops mental willpower, provides clarity, and offers answers. "Your reality becomes as you think." "Mauna develops mental willpower. It helps you to become mentally strong, to endure, and to gain inner motivation and pure inner vision." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Take your life in your hand

The Bhagavad Gītā's eighteen chapters are the eighteen branches of yoga, each a complete teaching of information and self-management. Indian wisdom hides this treasure within poetic forms like the dohā, where the first part poses a question and the second provides the managing answer. A life spent only in intellectual questioning, writing, and talking is soulless and circular. The direct step is to practice Yama and Niyama, turning inward through observation. Nigraha means to observe the senses and the mind. Only through such self-management can one find freedom; without it, life is nearly lost. "Indriya nigraha: observe your senses. Mana nigraha: observe your mind." "One who cannot manage oneself, one’s life is nearly lost." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Learn to control also your emotions

The awakened state requires vigilant self-management through the coordination of thought, emotion, and action. Many struggle to harmonize these elements, leading to inner discord. The purpose of dedicated spiritual practice is to learn this self-control and to recharge one's entire being. However, a common failure occurs when individuals quickly lapse into spiritual inattention, negating the intended purpose of their effort. This highlights the critical need for sustained, conscious application rather than brief, passive attendance. True awakening demands continuous inner observation and discipline. Without this, one remains asleep. "Thoughts, emotion, action—these all should be coordinated. Otherwise, we will be in trouble." "Many who come here, after one day, become unconscious. Why are they here?" Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Too much eating increases the tamas guna

A light stomach is essential for spiritual practice. Excessive eating creates heaviness and hinders meditation, breathwork, and postures. The camp lifestyle specifically requires this lightness. However, some individuals experience constant hunger regardless of consumption, which is noted as a positive trait. Two bodily principles exist: the "manufacturer," who eats little but grows, and the "consumer," who eats constantly without visible gain. The senses are linked to the lower energy centers; smell connects to the root center, and taste connects to the sacral center. These centers govern fundamental desires. For instance, on a short flight, the inability to go without a specific meal for two hours reveals a profound human weakness, where we derive excessive pleasure from food and create tension over its absence. "Excessive eating creates tamas guṇa and tiredness." "For meditation, for prāṇāyāma, for āsanas... it is truly very important that the stomach is a little light." Filming location: Vép, Hungary

Everything is the play of energy

Emotion is the fundamental energy of existence, and the key is to direct it positively. All feelings—jealousy, anger, hate, sadness, happiness, love, contentment—are this same energy, defined by the filter you apply. Filtering emotion through compassion makes it divine; filtering it through anger corrupts even love, harming both others and yourself. Anger kills healthy cells, creates tension, destroys self-control, and dims human qualities into animalistic ones. In contrast, love brings relaxation and positive, divine energy, which is why all cultures honor it. However, some individuals remain unteachable despite explanation. Vital energy is essential for movement; without it, even a healthy body is powerless. This loss occurs because we have many physical and mental "valves" that leak energy when we engage in negative thoughts or emotions like jealousy or anger. The simple repair for all these loose valves is a specific mental attitude. "Take it as it is and be happy. Don't blame anyone." "These two sentences can save all of humanity." Role of intellect in Kali Yuga -- anything you begin, call Lord Ganesa for help

Complete self-realization is achieved through universal love, which is bhakti, the main path in Kali Yuga, an age based solely on the name of God. The current degraded state of society, environment, and culture results from an intellect dominated by greed and ego. If the intellect were instead filled with bhakti, renunciation, austerity, and dispassion, this condition would not exist. Therefore, one must cultivate renunciation, austerity, and dispassion. Practice is essential. Maintain silence, speak only what is necessary, and observe yourself. Reflect on what you have or have not achieved and why. For any beginning, first remember Lord Gaṇeśa, the remover of obstacles and giver of happiness. Invite him with love, offerings, and a request for your happiness to come. "The complete realization, complete self-realization takes place through love." "Kali-yuga kevala nāma ādhāra. The Kali-yuga is based now on the name of God, that is all." It is worth to teach yoga only purely

We must preserve authentic spirituality by drinking wisdom directly from its source. Yoga has become a global practice, but it has been distorted and commercialized into countless variations. The original, integral teaching is being broken apart, like an apple ground into chutney. Techniques are extracted and repackaged under different labels, creating widespread confusion. This is why our path is so valuable. We possess a living spiritual lineage and direct wisdom from our masters. We lack nothing; we are truly rich. We receive this nectar firsthand and must protect its purity. "people have made chutney out of yoga." "we drink the nectar of wisdom directly from the original fountain." Cause

The human intellect seeks the cause, while the animal intellect follows the effect. This defines our consciousness. We must discover the cause of our suffering to become free. Do not be passive, expecting divine intervention. You have been given intellect and latent divine power; you must utilize them. Humans are meant to be protectors of society and nature. Life itself is the battlefield, an internal allegory. Your body is the field, your mind is the warrior, your soul is the divine charioteer, and your negative tendencies are the adversaries. Historical narratives are vehicles for eternal wisdom. Their power lies in the inspiration they provide. Systems and ages flow past, but the conscious self, the witness, remains. Observe yourself. Your youthful feelings reside in an aging instrument that reflects your past care. "God said, 'I gave you a beautiful body, and I gave you intellect. I gave you abilities, hidden powers within you.'" "Your intellect is never polluted, and your knowledge is never-ending." Filming location: Slovakia
