Love is life

The choice between your divine human potential and your destructive tendencies is in your hands. You are both your own friend and enemy. Your divine human quality is to be a protector, not a destroyer. To realize this is to transform from human to God. Yet jealousy can arise easily, even toward a master. Jealous people often speak sweetly while causing harm. A story tells of students who, jealous of a brilliant peer, poisoned their master's mind with lies until the student was expelled. Another story tells of a jealous student who trapped a bird to publicly shame his professor. When asked if the bird was alive or dead, the professor replied, "That is in your hands." Success or failure, like the bird's fate, is in your hands. Another disciple, taught to see God in everyone, was trampled by a mad elephant because he saw God only in the elephant and ignored God in the people warning him. You must learn properly. The blessing is given, but the rest is in your hands. "The life or death of this bird is in your hands." "Blessing is there, but the rest is in your hands." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 278

When one is ready for mantra diksha

Mantra initiation is a profound, lifelong commitment. You must be certain you wish to walk the spiritual path and practice yoga as your life's central decision. You choose a guru, a spiritual guide for this life and beyond, from whom you receive the mantra. This commitment is not temporary. According to this teaching, you must also adopt a vegetarian lifestyle based on non-violence. Ensure mutual understanding in your household, as this is your definitive choice. The guru is not an easy master, but being under this spiritual shelter is considered great past karma. Think it over peacefully, yet do not delay unnecessarily, for life is uncertain. A master sows spiritual seeds like a farmer, without attachment to the outcome, for the master is always the winner. "To receive a mantra means you are going to choose your spiritual leader or guru." "Don't let bhaktas wait for next time." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 277

A disciple of three guru generations

A disciple shares the grace received across a lineage of gurus. Guru Purnima is the essential day for one who has entered a second, spiritual life. In 1954, the disciple's parents received initiation from Mahaprabhuji. The family traveled to have his darshan, receiving blessings by his sacred fire. Mahaprabhuji's principal disciple, Swami Madhavanandaji, later assumed the guru's seat and traveled widely to bless others. He established an ashram, and the disciple's family served there closely during times of personal difficulty. The disciple witnessed the emergence of Swami Maheshvaranandaji, who received complete training in yoga and Sanskrit, swiftly mastering all necessary knowledge. The blessings of the lineage are now manifest globally. A disciple's sincere surrender invites the guru's grace, which operates like God. The guru provides the teachings for complete transformation. "Guru Purnima is the most important day, a holy day for a pupil who enters into the second life." "If a pupil or disciple has complete surrender to the guru, the results will be such." Mantra is the seed of prayer

Everything originates from the cosmic sound. Yoga is the balancing principle between space and consciousness. When balance occurs, there is harmony and unity. Consciousness has no desires and matter is inert. Between them exists Icchā Śakti, or willpower. This desire-power harmonizes consciousness, space, and yoga śakti. All universal activity occurs through Icchā Śakti. From this will, the first resonance awoke: OM. This sound fills the universe and is the basis of all communication. This resonant energy flows through filters, becoming positive or negative. Through sound manipulation, one creates harmony or disharmony. Ancient speech used mantras to influence the environment. Sweet words create love and understanding. God is formless and nameless; names are given by humans. Every form of existence can be seen as a divine form. Prayer and mantra repetition purify consciousness from negativity. A mantra is concentrated prayer and the seed of realization. Meditation without a mantra is like a body without a soul. The human intellect is powerful and meant for understanding and realizing. Use it for planetary well-being, not for greed. Kind words, proper behavior, and positive living make a human great. Practice your mantra to understand yourself and others. Your perception shapes your world. Yoga in daily life means living all hours positively. "From this icchā, the first resonance that awoke is what we call OM, the sound." "Through the manipulation of sound, you can create a friend or an enemy." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 274

Practising Khatu pranam with mantras

The practice of Vajrāsana and Kāṭupranām is for spiritual development. Vajrāsana calms the mind and body. Concentration is placed upon the holy seat. The mantra "Oṁ Śrī Gurū Dīpāya Namaḥ" is chanted. This sound creates protection and removes anxiety. It awakens devotion and surrenders the ego. The practice leads from unreality to reality. The subsequent mantras guide the journey. "Oṁ asato mā sad gamaya" leads from unreality to truth. "Oṁ tamaso mā jyotir gamaya" leads from darkness to light. "Oṁ mṛtyor mā amṛtaṁ gamaya" leads from mortality to immortality. Prayers extend for universal health, peace, and harmony. Every mudrā and movement holds meaning. Conscious practice develops positiveness and opens the horizon to love and understanding. "Oṁ Śrī Gurū Dīpāya Namaḥ creates a feeling of protection. It removes anxiety and uncertainty." "Lead us from unreality to reality, from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom, from mortality to immortality." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 273

Develop mental immunity

Prāṇa is the cosmic energy that flows through all things, taking on different qualities based on the object it permeates. A blessing imbues an object with spiritual energy, similar to homeopathic resonance, where one blessed item can transfer its quality to a larger quantity. This prāṇa flows within the body, influenced by thought; positive thinking purifies it, while negativity poisons. The body receives prāṇa through breath, nourishment, and touch, distributing it for various functions. Physical immunity allows the body to accept these energies, while mental immunity is the wisdom to forgive and avoid negative emotions. Modern life, pollution, and tight clothing hinder the natural flow of this energy. The practice involves constant awareness to purify prāṇa and prevent the ego from arising. "Blessing is that which comes from the heart of the Siddha, or from the Perfect One." "Positive thinking means enlightening yourself. Similarly, if you constantly repeat some mantras or prayers, your prāṇa is filled with that spirituality." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 272

Kaya kalapa

Yoga requires spiritual development, otherwise it is merely physiotherapy. The physical science of the body is śarīravijñāna. Kāya Kalpa traditionally refers to a rare, miraculous rejuvenation through mantra energy, not for general use. It can also mean restoring health through medical means or disciplined nourishment. Proper eating is a form of kāya kalpa; eat one full meal, then allow five to eight hours for digestion without consuming anything else. Confusing the digestive system with conflicting foods destroys health. Spirituality is primary; without it, yoga is incomplete. Temporary disillusionment from seeing death is one form of vairāgya, but pure, non-attachment (nirmal vairāgya) renounces all desires as impurities on the path to Brahman. Desires are meaningless and lead back into the cycle of birth and death. Positive perception and satsaṅg are essential to acquire this lasting disposition. "Without spirituality, yoga cannot be successful." "Vairāgya sār leads you to Brahman, and desires are asāra, they return you again into the cycle." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 271

Mantra is the soul of everything

Mantra is the primordial cosmic resonance from which all creation emerges. This sound, Oṃ, harmonizes and unifies everything. The Sanskrit language preserves this essence, though its written form has changed. Its alphabet, Devanāgarī, represents the divine principles of resonance discovered by sages in meditation. Just as in a body each organ has a unique duty—eyes see, ears hear—the universe operates through specialized positive forces, all serving the one principle. These cosmic resonances are mirrored within us; each chakra and tissue has its specific vibration. Forgetting our essence leads to imbalance, so we are advised to use mantras—positive sounds that affect body, mind, and soul. Research acknowledges prayer, meditation, and exercise as therapies for stress. Therefore, practice resonance through mantra, prāṇāyāma, and positive thinking to progress. Act consciously and strive to preserve harmony, for a yogī's heart seeks to save any situation. "These resonances, these sounds, were heard by great persons... in their meditation." "Every mantra, no matter from which language it comes... has a positive effect on the body, mind, consciousness, and soul." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 270

Mantras for khatu pranam

Mantra is a spiritual science with tangible power for healing and transformation. Specific mantras exist for countless life functions, from neutralizing poisons to daily activities. This power requires purity; qualities like ego or greed extinguish it like a flame. The knowledge is a sacred trust, often lost if not passed to a disciplined successor. Faith is the conduit, as seen when a lost cat returns or a child's pain ceases after a mantra. These events are not performed by the individual but through divine grace when one becomes a clear channel. Ancient practices, like an Ayurvedic healer praying to a plant for its healing parts, acknowledge this conscious connection. True power arises from surrendering personal will to a higher reality. The practice culminates in universal prayers for peace in all realms—physical, mental, and throughout the entire cosmos. "Every time you repeat the mantra, you call him; he is in your consciousness." "May peace be in the governor of this planet... May this peace of the Brahman be everywhere." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 269

Lead a conscious life

The ancient Ṛṣis possessed profound wisdom for future generations. They lived simply, with vast distances between people, considering a rare guest as divine. Today, speed and connectivity have increased, yet destructive forces have grown. Two eternal powers exist: the positive, protective Devī Śakti and the negative, destructive Āsurī Śakti, which causes modern maladies. Humans often unknowingly support this negative force. Life is like grain between millstones of opposing powers. Yet, by following the Ṛṣis' teachings and staying close to the supporting axis of Truth (Satya), one can remain whole. The material world is illusion; only Brahman is ultimate Truth. Life's quarrels are fleeting like bubbles. Modern knowledge is a tiny fraction of the Ṛṣis' wisdom. Humanity has become materialistic, selfish, and imprisoned by technology and money, pursuing destructive development. We must conserve resources like water, live naturally using things like neem, reduce consumption, and repair rather than discard. Inspire others in this conscious, natural life to help our suffering Earth. "Between this planet and the Brahman world, what holds that space is called Satya." "Truth alone triumphs—is written under the Indian emblem." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 268

Mantra siddhi

Mantra siddhi is perfection attained through strict discipline of practice. Cosmic principles exist without form, yet are realized and represented through created symbols. These symbols, like the seven-trunked elephant representing seven elements, carry deep meaning. Knowledge and science together fill the soul completely, leaving no desire, a state realized through mantra and study. Darkness and light define each other's value. Energy diversifies into forms, just as saints encapsulate cosmic energy into symbols for human use. A symbol, like OM or a cross, transfers feeling and knowledge to those who recognize it. Speech perfection, Vāk Siddhi, is attained through self-study, contemplation, and mantra practice. Speak neutrally, without selfish interest. "Jñāna is knowledge, and vijñāna is science. Together, they represent the science realized through knowledge, and the knowledge realized through science." "Your speech is like a horse that must be given to other forces, to a higher power, to control and ride." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 267

Develop Your mental power

Vajrāsana is a foundational posture with profound effects. It enhances memory, calms the nervous system, and improves concentration. Physically, it relieves stiffness in the neck and back, normalizes digestion, and supports pancreatic and lung function. It aids kidney health and can alleviate hemorrhoids. The posture stretches the lower legs, combating fatigue and aiding athletes in recovery. It harmonizes the heartbeat and awakens the heart center, fostering devotion and clarity, which is why it is often adopted in prayer. It is recommended for five to ten minutes after meals and as a preparation for meditation. However, it is unsuitable for those with ankle, heel, thigh, or hip issues, though props can help. Yoga's benefits are gradual and natural, requiring discipline and consistent practice, not competition. Mastery comes from perfecting one thing, not attempting everything. The postures are part of an ancient heritage, and their systematic application is the teacher's work. "It removes tiredness and gives you refreshment because the front muscles of your lower legs are stretched." "If you practice one thing, if you master one thing, you master everything." What is Your aim in Yoga

Yoga is the universal principle of balance, harmony, and union. All elements in the cosmos exist in perfect balance, which prevents suffering. For humanity, this balance manifests as shared understanding, creating harmony and ending conflict. Intellect disrupts this equilibrium, making practice essential. True harmony leads to unity, which is power. This same principle applies to the human being: body, mind, and emotion must be balanced, harmonized, and united. Yoga is present in every atom as a uniting force. Practice serves three aims. The prime aim is spiritual realization, requiring guidance from an achieved teacher. The second is achieving powers or siddhis, which demands immense discipline but risks inflating the ego, the greatest spiritual enemy. The third is maintaining health for a happy life, requiring lifelong commitment to practice, breath, diet, and discipline without competition. The decision for practice rests with the individual, who must apply faithful discipline to realize any benefit. "Yoga means, first of all, balance—balancing the entire universe. Secondly, harmony—harmony in the entire universe. And thirdly, union—the unity of the whole universe." "The biggest enemy of your spiritual path is your ego and māyā—temptation." Breath and Life

Prāṇa is the universal life force, the vital energy that sustains all existence. It is allotted to each being in a finite measure, like fuel in a tank; when it is expended, physical life ends. Yet prāṇa is also omnipresent and infinite, the very substance from which consciousness burns. The source of prāṇa is the divine, and it is experienced as love. We live within and through this energy. Physical weakness indicates not an absence of prāṇa, but the body's inability to absorb it. The cultivation of prāṇa requires holistic practices. Through āsana, every part of the body is stimulated, activating energy centers. Prāṇāyāma exercises the breath, allowing the entire body to breathe freely. Maintaining bodily purity is essential; natural cleansing agents like lemon and neem preserve the skin's ability to respire and absorb prāṇa, unlike chemical products which deaden it. A conscious, slower lifestyle in harmony with nature enhances prāṇa absorption. This energy is also received through wholesome food, mindful eating, joyful company, and harmonious thoughts. A peaceful, loving atmosphere at home and work radiates prāṇa. Ultimately, prāṇa is the connecting link between consciousness and matter. Cultivating it through practice, attitude, and environment brings balance, health, and unity. "Prāṇa is like a fuel or substance from which the light burns. We are the wick, and the oil or ghee is this prāṇa, and the light is consciousness." "Prāṇa is present throughout the entire universe in the same quantity or measure." Accept Guru's words

Karma is an inescapable truth, independent of belief. It means action. Once an action is done, its consequences are no longer in our hands. Our destiny is the effect of past karma. However, 99% of this destiny can be avoided by following the Guru's word, the Guruvākya. The Guruvākya are the teachings of the realized master, a warning to prevent future suffering. To understand these teachings, one must grasp their inner meaning, not just the literal words. Sacred scriptures are often misunderstood through literal interpretation, leading to conflict. The spiritual seeker must be like a blank page, free from the ego that clings to rigid identities like religion or culture. We are eternal travelers gathering wisdom, and all culture is a flowing, shared human journey, not a fixed possession. "Karma is in our hands, which means that actions are in our hands... once we have done it, then nothing is left in our hands. It is in God's hands." "The essence of the mantra is to follow the words of the Master." Filming location: Villach, A DVD 263

Be worthy of the blessing

Wisdom is transmitted through śruti, the master's spoken word, and smṛti, the disciple's remembered word. This oral tradition required perfect memory and consensus among disciples to preserve authenticity. The master's blessing gives this knowledge life and authority; without it, the knowledge dries out. The blessing requires a worthy vessel, a supatra, a disciple purified of negative thoughts and emotions. One must have a clean inner pot to receive wisdom. Reality and truth are unchanging; only human attitudes and opinions change. Spiritual seeking requires universal love, not worldly attachment. Teaching is a divine duty, requiring self-purification to be a clear channel. "Therefore, blessing is paramount. Without it, the knowledge a disciple receives will dry out like a tree without water." "Nothing is changed. The truth, the reality, remains reality... What has changed is your attitude." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 262

How to practice Mantra

Mantra Anuṣṭhāna is a dedicated spiritual practice based on a sacred resolve. Those who perform it are fortunate. A mantra is directed toward a specific aspect of the Divine, and the best mantra is received from a true Master. This Guru Mantra is a seed that purifies karma and awakens consciousness. Practice must be systematic and correct. The first level is writing the mantra, understanding the letters as divine resonance. The second is chanting aloud, uniting sound and form with energy. The third is mental repetition, moving inward. One must repeat the complete mantra without shortening it. Through diligent practice, one reaches Ajapā, where repetition becomes effortless. This practice fulfills one's resolve and transforms one's being. True spiritual development radiates humility and love. You must change internally; the ego is the obstacle. The mantra's power is realized through correct, devoted practice. "From the moment one receives the mantra, it begins to burn away all sins." "When you achieve the level of Ajapā, what more is there to repeat?" Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 261

Rainwater Harvesting

Water is life, especially in the desert, where monsoon rains are short and rare. To address a severe drought, a rainwater harvesting initiative was launched. The first step was building a large lake to capture monsoon rains, as groundwater had become too saline. This project uses traditional techniques and watershed management to create a sustainable model. A network of dams and canals directs rain toward the lake. When the rains finally come, the land soaks up the water, and the excess fills the reservoir, temporarily turning the desert green. This lake now serves all life. The initiative will be extended to other locations, providing water, employment, and health benefits. The ashram also provides a fire truck for emergency water supply, believing helping hands are most valuable. Support is needed to complete these humanitarian projects. "Only those who live in a desert genuinely know that water is life." "Helping hands have more value than folded hands." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India DVD 260

The Glory of Gurudev's Name

The supreme vessel of grace is the true Guru, without whom liberation is impossible. All beings seek happiness, yet worldly joys conceal greater sorrows. Divine incarnations appear to bestow true happiness and Self-knowledge. Many may attain yogic powers through practice, but the knowledge of the Ātman is given solely by Gurudeva's grace. Without this knowledge, suffering is endless. A powerful saint, Chaṅgadeva, lived for 1400 years with great siddhis but still lacked self-knowledge until he surrendered to saints who were liberated in life. Another scholar, adept in all scriptures and tantra, was humbled upon encountering the true Mahāprabhu. His pride, the root of sin, was conquered. When direct realization of the Ātman occurs, the dream-like world ends. Many wander performing rituals or studying texts but live in illusion without Self-knowledge. True peace is found only in Satsaṅga and devotion to the Guru. The human life is precious; it alone allows for devotion and sādhanā, which should not be wasted on mere animalistic pleasures. "Without Gurudeva, no one in the world has ever attained Ātma-Paramātmā, nor will they ever." "The darkness of the heart can only be dispelled by the grace of the Guru." Filming location: Bari Khatu, Rajasthan, India DVD 259

Be patient like a tree

The evergreen tree of satsaṅg is sustained by devotion, not by the number of leaves. An ancient banyan tree lamented the loss of all its leaves, feeling its accumulated wisdom would die with it. A gardener pruned its ill parts, promising new growth. By spring, the tree was full of healthy leaves, becoming beautiful and rich in companionship again. This illustrates that in satsaṅg, when people leave, they are like ill leaves ripe to fall. Remain steadfast. A gardener who made garlands was offered vast sums by a king and a merchant for a special garland meant for Gurudeva. Realizing the true value was in the offering itself, he renounced the money and offered the garland directly. He was then gifted immense wealth and a kingdom. This shows renunciation brings the true reward. Do not depend on others' presence or love. If they leave satsaṅg, they leave their own good destiny; they may return after hard experiences. Be like a tree surviving alone on a mountain, faithful in all circumstances. The mistake is thinking nobody loves you. Simply be there. "Therefore, don't worry if you have more or fewer bhaktas in satsaṅg or in class." "That's called renunciation. Renounce and enjoy the love. He is the winner." Ten pranas of the manipur chakra

The Maṇipūra Cakra is the city of jewels and the seat of the prāṇas. Hindu mythology presents three primary divinities: Brahmā the creator, Viṣṇu the sustainer, and Śiva the liberator. Viṣṇu resides in the fire principle, which coexists with water, the ocean of nectar and life. From Viṣṇu's navel emerges a lotus, upon which Brahmā manifests holding the Vedas. The soul enters the mother's womb as a drop of water, and the universe is round. The thousand-headed snake becomes the three primary nāḍīs, with its coil representing the intestines where life and wisdom begin. Maṇipūra's ten petals correspond to the ten indriyas, the senses of perception and action, which are like horses pulling the body's coach. Control over these senses depends on their roots in this cakra. Its yellow color is the color of fire and purification. Before physical organs manifest, ten prāṇas are established. Prāṇa is cosmic energy, not merely oxygen. Physical and mental health depend on the quality of these ten energies. Prāṇa flows through breath and the entire skin, so wearing loose, natural clothing is advised. Specific yogic practices purify and strengthen each prāṇa. "The power residing in every atom of the universe is Viṣṇu." "If these ten horses are under control, the coach remains in good condition." Filming location: Umag, Croatia DVD 254

Only God can make You rich

A story illustrates the destructive nature of jealousy. While walking, I thought of you. A master once instructed me to recount a tale from 1966. It concerns a jealous man fixated on his prosperous neighbor. He performed austerities, and a divine voice offered a boon: a magical object granting any wish. However, a condition was attached: whatever he received, his neighbor would receive double. Consumed by envy, the man rejected the object, choosing instead to labor in poverty for fifteen years to avoid benefiting his rival. His desperate family later used the object, receiving food and riches, which the neighbor also received doubled. Upon returning, the man's jealousy erupted. He used the object to curse himself with mutilation, knowing his neighbor would suffer doubly, and finally destroyed the object, becoming a beggar. This shows how jealousy ruins oneself and others. Spiritual practice is meaningless without cultivating goodness, mercy, and kindness. "God said, 'If you ask this kuṇḍ for one million dollars, he will give you immediately. But at the same time, your neighbor will get two million.'" "He used the object to curse himself... and finally destroyed the object, becoming a beggar." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 251

Yoga does not compromise on quality

Yoga is a divine science beyond physical competition. Commercial yoga focuses on demonstrations and greed, but true yoga is a holistic system of body, mind, and soul aimed at union with the universal. It requires self-discipline, not compromise. Our ego and doubts prevent us from accepting others or God. The goal is to realize the cosmic Self, omnipresent and beyond time. Many systems fail, but this eternal path endures because it is universal, not personified. A guru is simply a teacher, but many modern instructors lack true knowledge, like someone teaching driving without ever seeing a car. God acts through us when we do good; negative actions mean a lower force acts through us. If your consciousness holds only God, you cannot act negatively, for light dispels darkness. This light is the wisdom of self-knowledge. "Yoga is a science of body, mind, consciousness, and soul. Physical exercises are not what we are searching for." "If you will be aware or conscious about your being, that in your consciousness is nothing existing but only God, then you will never act negatively, because where there is light, darkness will not come." Filming location: Vép, Hungary DVD 250

Strengthen Your immune system

Discipline is essential in this age of spiritual scarcity and physical toxicity. Modern life is unnatural, filled with chemicals in food, water, and air, which damage health and shorten life. The body's immune system is weakened by this imbalance. External remedies offer little lasting help if the inner system is not strengthened. The primary solution lies within, through consistent personal practice. Haṭha Yoga techniques like āsanas and kriyās cleanse the body and support its systems. For spiritual development, mantra repetition purifies the inner instrument. The foundation for health and spiritual progress rests on five pillars: devotion, knowledge, renunciation, detachment, and endurance. Avoid the weakening pillars of anger, jealousy, hate, greed, and desire. Practice daily discipline for the body and the spirit. "Your body does not have enough power to clean itself, we have to support it to clean out all the toxins through Haṭha Yoga Kriyā." "In this Kali Yuga, there is only one protection, only one thing, and that is God's name—your mantra." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 249

The flow of life

Life is a flowing river of change, not a fixed circumstance. Each religious path defines its own virtues and sins, creating specific karma for its adherents. Historical interpretations of practice, like the use of wine, are often shaped by climate and later commerce, not original intent. Substances like alcohol are universally dangerous, causing immense suffering, yet are promoted in an age where commerce reigns. When faced with another's wrongdoing, remember that karma delivers consequences; one's duty is to spiritual practice or to depart the situation. Public fears are often magnified for commercial gain, overlooking nature's cycles. Anger over an unlived life is a common crisis, but the entire journey has not passed. One can still act, yet the ultimate preparation is for the next life. Existence is a train ride with a changing view; do not become attached to any single scene. Without spiritual focus, life is incomplete. "Life is like water, which is constantly flowing. When water is flowing, it remains clean. When water is stuck, it becomes spoiled." "Without the name of God, this life is incomplete and not good." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 248

What will be with me

Our human journey is a search for permanent peace, not temporary comforts. This life is a brief transit point on an endless journey. A wise person avoids temporary temptations, aiming instead for what is everlasting. The changing world—circumstances, feelings, thoughts—is non-reality. The unchanging inner self, the Ātmā, is the only reality and the source of permanent peace. Do not wait for a better future to seek it; the best time is now. We possess intellect and discernment to use for our highest purpose. Do not lose the diamond of human life for fleeting temptations. Practice spiritual principles concretely in daily life, without fanaticism. The planet is one village; think globally and live in harmony, free from greed and narrow possession. "Your future will be like your presence." "Be the change you want to see." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 247

Balance of the four yogas

Yoga is the universal principle of balance. The entire cosmos and our own body, mind, and emotions function through equilibrium; illness arises from imbalance. Ancient scriptures describe yogic principles like discipline, compassion, and prayer, which are found in all religions, making yoga a universal alignment. The path is traditionally divided into four interconnected branches: Karma (selfless action), Bhakti (devotion), Rāja (discipline), and Jñāna (knowledge). Every physical action, even breathing or eating, is karma, and its quality affects our health. These four yogas are inseparable; claiming only one creates a crippling incompleteness, like a body missing a limb. Intellectual knowledge alone, without love, discipline, or action, leads to pride and error, akin to a crow on a church thinking the prayers are for it. True wisdom flows only to a humble heart. Hatha Yoga also requires all four elements. Our practice must be whole and free from hypocrisy, dedicated to benefiting all beings. "If you define yourself only as a particular yogī, then you are discriminating against yourself, and you have no knowledge." "Wisdom goes to that heart where there is humbleness. Wisdom doesn't remain on the mountain of the ego." Filming location: Czech Republic DVD 246

The power of bhava

The divine exchange of bhāva is the core of spiritual relationship. Bhāva is the devotion or emotion you plant in consciousness. What you send out returns to you. Negative thoughts and doubts planted within create disharmony with the master, God, or friends. Surface corrections fail; the cause lies within your own heart. A story illustrates this: Viṣṇu and Śiva meditate upon each other in mutual respect. When Rāma was bound by a serpent arrow, Garuḍa freed him. Garuḍa then fell into depression and ego, doubting the God he served. He sought help from Nārada and Śiva, who called his doubt an incurable disease. The remedy was to attend the satsaṅg of the sage Kagbushaṇḍī. Upon entering that region, Garuḍa’s love and realization were restored. All problems originate within from a lack of discipline and understanding. "It is that love which you have filled in their hearts. And that is reflecting back." "The kind of bhāva you put into the consciousness, into the hearts of people, that is what comes back to you." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 245

Peace and contentment

Spirituality is the inner divine Self, obscured by layers of impurity known as mala. This mala, or mental pollution, accumulates daily through our senses and thoughts, clouding our true nature. We theoretically know the divine is within, but we cannot see it due to these impurities. The mind, ruling the ten senses, constantly generates desires and distractions, preventing peace. Seeking peace externally, through possessions or renunciation, is futile; peace and contentment exist only within, through inward acceptance. Impurities from our actions and thoughts create suffering, the three fires of Tri-Tāpa. This mala can only be removed through persistent, lifelong practice—abhyāsa—such as mantra repetition. This daily cleaning of the inner instrument, the antaḥkaraṇa, is essential. You alone are the master of your mind; its purification leads to the contentment that is true peace. "Peace is within you; that which you have to realize. There is no way to peace; peace itself is the way." "Spirituality is purity. Impurity means many different things—physical as well as mental." Filming location: Jadan, Rajasthan, India DVD 244

Work is your best protector

The nature of Devas, the soul, and karma is explained. Devas are beings who performed good deeds and meditation, ascending to a heaven that is not eternal. They can descend as angels. The soul has no gender; women possess a soul as men do. The Vedas, existing before creation, speak of a formless principle—Parameśvara, the universal consciousness, and Īśvara, the governing power within a sun system. The individual soul, Jīvātmā, is involved with karma and the five sheaths. All consciousness is like water, essentially pure but colored by karmic pollution. Good deeds lead to heaven, but liberation is limitless Brahman. Your karma is your ultimate deity, protecting or punishing you based on your conscious actions. Negative speech and thought attract others' negative karma to you, destroying spiritual progress. Life in the mortal world is a repetitive cycle. You are your own master; self-awareness and positive action are crucial. "Karma hi deva hai. So, either it liberates you or it doesn't liberate you." "If you speak about anyone negatively, you are taking these karmas on you." Filming location: Vienna, Austria DVD 243

Nothing belongs to you

Nothing belongs to you, and all things are impermanent. Yoga's first principle is that nothing exists forever and nothing belongs to you. This truth was even accepted by those under a communist system. No wealth, friends, family, or even your own body belongs to you; all are temporary and will be taken. It is ignorance to think otherwise. Therefore, it is foolish to be sad when someone leaves. Only one reality exists—your Self or God—and all else is duality and non-reality. Everyone will disappoint you, but the Lord will not. A story illustrates this: a farmer dreamed a full life with a family, only to wake minutes later to a real family grieving a dead child. He wondered for which loss to cry. This world may be like a dream. Since nothing is permanent, do not ruin your life with sadness for what is gone. Have the memory, but do not be depressed. Be in deep rest. "Nothing belongs to you. No wealth belongs to you, no friends belong to you, not your parents, nor your brothers and sisters, nor your husband or wife. Even this body does not belong to you." "What comes, comes; what goes, goes. Therefore, do not be sad and do not be depressed. Be in deep rest, and deep rest is the best." Develop God consciousness

The emergence of consciousness begins with the first principle, Svayambhū Śiva, the self-manifested divine will. The entire universe manifested from a cosmic sound, the resonance of OṂ, which permeates every atom. This planet is the realm of karma and dharma, where beings experience birth and death through the cycle of 8.4 million creatures. The divine play requires the knower, the knowledge, and the object. Most cannot understand this play; only those with grace can. Maya, or ignorance, manifests as anger, jealousy, and desire. Spiritual development requires cultivating God consciousness, which is distinct from material progress. Discipline through mantra, fasting, and silence develops this awareness. One sees only what one's consciousness permits; to see God, one must develop God consciousness. "Eko’haṁ Bhausyāmī—I am one and now I will multiply." "You can only see God if you have God consciousness." Filming location: Banska Bystrica, Slovakia DVD 240

Shiva is within us

Śiva consciousness is the spiritual education leading to divine union. Śiva is the cosmic consciousness within all. Liberation merges individual consciousness into this universal reality. Human intellect distinguishes humanity but requires training. Education shapes this intellect positively or negatively, just as driving school teaches skill. Modern culture promotes destructive individualism, while ancient culture offered perfect, holistic education. Spiritual education awakens higher aims beyond basic animal existence, guiding one toward God realization. This education reveals the single divine reality behind all religions and cultures, fostering equality and peace. It is the light of knowledge leading from ignorance to liberation, which is Śiva consciousness. The human vehicle must be purified through proper nourishment, movement, breath, and thought to support this awakening. "Becoming one with the Supreme means one without a second, beyond time and space." "Spiritual consciousness means to see equality in everyone." Filming location: Banska Bystrica, Slovakia DVD 239

Christmas Satsang

The universal light of spiritual festivals illuminates the path to realization for all. Divine incarnations manifest for the entire world, not a specific part. God-realization is universal, requiring disciplined practice. Success demands purification from inner enemies: passion, anger, pride, greed, delusion, and ego. Prakṛti, our nature, must be purified, not merely suppressed. Like a cat forgetting its vegetarian food when seeing a mouse, humans forget pure consciousness when temptation attacks. The intellect must guard the ātmā, the inner VIP. Holy days remind us of love and unity, which jealousy and duality destroy. Spiritual practice brings eternal youthfulness; its loss dims one's aura. True seeking requires surrendering the ego. Do not ask others to assess your flaws; you know them inwardly. Incarnations like Jesus exemplify unwavering commitment to truth and forgiveness, even through suffering. Be the Christmas tree where others find love and shelter, not duality. "God's incarnation is for everyone. God-realization, or liberation, is not limited to any culture, country, or any part of the world. It is universal." "Lead us from the darkness to the light... from mortality to immortality... from unreality to reality." Filming location: To be determin DVD 237

Miraculous pranayama

Prāṇa is the central, miraculous force within life and yoga. The supreme aim of life provides the complete energy for its own achievement. All minor aims are secondary. The techniques for realizing this aim are found within ancient yogic texts. The most vital element within the body is the ascending and descending prāṇa, the breath. Through proper prāṇāyāma, one can accomplish incredible things and solve health issues, but improper practice causes irreversible damage, necessitating a true guide. The senses of taste and sex must be controlled by the mind for successful practice. Yoga's systematic science, originating with Śiva, is now fragmented by commercialization. A dedicated, systematic practice of prāṇāyāma purifies prāṇa, calms mental fluctuations, prolongs life, and leads toward samādhi. "My residence is outside of the city, and I live in the breath." "Through prāṇāyāma, you can prolong this credit with high interest." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 236

Ashram needs dedication

Seva, or selfless service, is the highest spiritual practice. Karma Yoga, the yoga of action, is the most accessible path. It involves using one's abilities for the benefit of others, leading toward liberation. God incarnates to perform seva, and saints hold a unique power to alter destiny through compassion. True service requires dedication and freedom from jealousy, which harms both the giver and receiver. The foundation of all seva begins with honoring one's parents, the primary pilgrimage. Cultivating pure relationships through selfless action is the essence of yoga in daily life. "Gurujī used to say that if you put Mokṣa on one side of a scale and Seva on the other, the side of Seva would be heavier." "Whoever can perform Seva achieves everything." One without second

The Mūlādhāra chakra is the root center storing the seeds of destiny from past karma. Destiny is the fruit of past deeds, yet time itself is an illusion created by the human intellect. Realization occurs in timeless Samādhi, where consciousness becomes one without a second. The knower, knowledge, and object merge. The awakening of Kuṇḍalinī is a purification process to clean the mirror obscured by the dust of ignorance and negative karma. Techniques like Kriyā Yoga facilitate this. Mūlādhāra is also the root of jealousy and anger; these emotions block energy and harm the body. Tension depends not on the body but on the thinking process, which monitors all feelings. This chakra is the earth element, representing Mother Earth who nourishes all. Human greed, unlike need, is endless and stems from fear. Negative company and talk place a heavy burden on the spiritual sprout. Divine Śakti, though seated in Mūlādhāra due to destiny, has her strongest concentration in Śiva in the Sahasrāra, and his strongest part is in Mūlādhāra. Their union is the goal. As Śakti awakens and rises, it regenerates the body and ignites the sole desire for divine love. "Time is only a product of the human brain. We made the watch." "When these three merge into one, then remains only Sohaṁ, Ahaṁ Brahmāsmi." Filming location: Prague, Czech Republic DVD 234

Destiny is very mysterious

A prayer for a departed soul opens a discourse on destiny, time, and the divine name. Destiny is mysterious. Two companions walk with us: Jñāna (wisdom leading to immortality) and Kāla (time or death). Time is past, present, and future. We are not given knowledge of the past or future, for such knowledge would overwhelm us. What plays between these times is our destiny, which we create individually. Some destined events can be avoided, others cannot, as illustrated by the story of Oedipus. We do not know the time, place, or manner of our death. Therefore, the essential practice is to remember the divine name at life's end, as demonstrated by Mahatma Gandhi. To transcend suffering from attachment, anger, and fear is to become a Trikāla Darśī, one who sees all time. This widens consciousness, dissolving ignorance. Even the enlightened must face destiny and relinquish the body. Self-realization is a slow, lifelong practice. We pray for the departed soul to dissolve in cosmic light. "Govinda, mein yaha prārthanā hai ki bholo na mein nāma kabhī tumhārā. Ye nāma terā dina rāta gāvu..." "Hey Rām." Filming location: Prague, Czech Republic DVD 233

River of love and consciousness

Human life is given to know God and love all creatures. The purpose is to find the divine presence and remove obstacles on the path. Success requires two things: a firm decision and love for your practice. Your practice is your God until you realize God. Discipline is the key; without it, everything is lost. The highest initiation is sannyāsa, requiring complete detachment from family, seeing the whole world as your family. The path of love is not theater; it demands total surrender. You must iron out ego, jealousy, greed, and the tendency to take offense. Attachment destroys. A story illustrates this: a prince strikes a saint cleaning a path, who later explains the prince was testing if he was "broken" or "complete." You must offer the other cheek. Your inner willpower, through prayer and discipline, achieves realization. Look within. If free from desire, anger, pride, greed, delusion, and ego, you are self-realized. Your strength is in your sādhanā; love it as God. Work for unity; the divine organizes everything. "Your sādhanā is your God. That sādhanā will lead you to God, nothing else." "If you are free from these qualities, you are already self-realized." Filming location: Zagreb, Croatia DVD 232

The Glory of the Master is Unlimited

The spiritual path requires balance, devotion, and practice. True spiritual expression, like a bhajan, requires an active heart center and a clear brow center. If one is clouded and the other is active, it leads astray. The entire existence is a matter of balance. Yoga is the supreme practice to bring this inner harmony, independent of external means. A harmonious body supports a harmonious mind. The key to liberation is following the Guru's word and mantra with devotion. This practice requires surrender and renunciation of inner impurities like anger and doubt. Mental pollution is the world's most dangerous. True happiness is being happiness itself, not just experiencing it. Complete surrender is the shortcut; when the goal is realized, the path dissolves. The Guru's glory is endless and indescribable. The Guru principle is the supreme reality. "The entire existence is a matter of balance. Balance means harmony, being in one sound." "Enter the kingdom of God through the gate of sacrifice... Your ego you have to renounce." Filming location: Vienna, Austria DVD 231

Bhajan arises from love

The Anāhata-Cakra is the seat of the heart, devotion, and inner wisdom. When purified and awakened, it reveals hidden forces and universal love. This love is pure, free from anger, hatred, and jealousy. Where love is absent, conflict and suffering arise. Artistic talents and inspired writing flow from an awakened heart. Wisdom emerges from this purity, becoming self-correcting and perfect. The body is a chariot for the Self, guided by the intellect and ministered by discernment. Inner wealth is protected from the thieves of desire, anger, pride, and greed by applying the Guru's word. The entire cosmos resides within this vehicle. "Where there is love, all is pure. Where there is love, there is no anger." "The entire universe, all fourteen worlds and solar systems, are contained within this chariot." Filming location: Vienna, Austria DVD 230

Moha and Maya

This Ashram is a gift for spiritual development through mental discipline. The body is transient, but the inner light is permanent. Self-realization comes from asking "Who am I?" We are trapped in a web of attachment and illusion, which causes suffering. The intellect can become ensnared in this web. One must awaken and practice self-inquiry to realize the inner light, which dispels darkness like the sun. True devotion is a fragile flame that must be nurtured; the wind of circumstance can extinguish it or fan it into a great fire. Dispassion is essential to end worldly cravings. Without it, one remains stuck like a fly in honey. The ultimate goal is liberation from the cycle of karma and rebirth through self-knowledge. "Who am I and what am I not? Observe where your greater weight lies." "Light the lamp in your heart. This flame is very delicate, fragile." Filming location: Vienna, Austria DVD 229

Living Happily

The inner architect designs a life of contentment. The divine architect Viśvakarma designed the universe for happiness. True happiness is not found in money, food, or family, but in inner contentment. A home built without spiritual principles breeds conflict. The inner architect is our true Self, found by listening within. We often listen only to superficial, selfish feelings, which block contentment. The goal of human life is not mere eating and gathering like animals, but earning spiritual wealth. In happy times, we forget spiritual practice, yet that is when we should strengthen it. Yoga is the unity of consciousness and the universe, held together by sound. One must realize the Self through Guru's guidance and self-discipline. A healthy life through dedicated practice is essential for this inner design. "Nothing can make you happy. No person, no money, and no possession, but your inner contentment." "The goal of human life is not what we do. Eating, sleeping, procreating children, building a house—animals can do all of these well too." Filming location: Austria DVD 228

Simply be good

Yoga is the ancient science of body, mind, consciousness, and soul, serving as the balancing principle within the endless universe. This cosmic balance manifests as the five elements, from which the human body is formed. Human life, one among 8.4 million creatures, is distinguished by intellect and specific qualities. True education cultivates these human qualities—love, kindness, forgiveness—while negative tendencies like fear and selfishness arise from imbalance. This imbalance is a psychic illness rooted in the subconscious, where past impressions become desires. The mind cannot be stopped, but it can be directed by controlling the senses and purifying one's thoughts. The physical body is mortal, yet within it resides the immortal soul, a divine self that is never born and never dies. Through yoga practice, the hidden energies within the body's chakras can be awakened to purify qualities and realize this cosmic unity. The ultimate aim is harmony, leading to the unity of the individual self with the cosmic self. "Yoga means the balancing principle in this endless universe." "Where there is balance, there is harmony: harmony of body, mind, and soul." Filming location: Zlin, Czech Republic DVD 227

Respect Your ancestors

The sacred bond with ancestors is fundamental to family continuity and spiritual protection. Modern life severs this connection through divorce and separate living, causing widespread suffering. Ancestors observe and guide us; their liberation depends on rituals performed by descendants. Every family has a protective deity, the Kuldevatā. Establishing daily worship, especially Sūrya Pūjā and Śaktipūjā, stabilizes life's turbulence and pleases these ancestral forces. Cultural and religious conflicts arise from forgetting these universal roots. The duty to maintain family unity and honor ancestors through prescribed ceremonies is a sacred debt that ensures collective well-being. "When you have children, they will move further. If you don't get children, then still they are there." "Your duty is to keep them happy and pleased." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 226

Puja is a source of prana

The Vedic wisdom teaches reverence for the sacred elements that constitute life and divinity. The sun is life, and life is God. Every element should be revered. Worship the Water God, for polluting water pollutes ourselves. Worship the Fire God; the Agni Tatva, our body's heat, is vital. Fire is pure and purifies. God is in every element. The ash from holy fire is Lakṣmī, a blessed vibhūti. Fire should always remain in your house as God. When cooking, first offer a portion to the Fire God; this blessing ensures enough for all. This is scientific. We must live in balance with nature. The wind god is vital; without air we cannot exist. Consider Mother Earth, who nourishes us. We have polluted her, making her ill. The five elements—space, air, fire, water, earth—are compared to God. Our body is these elements. What holds us together is Prāṇa from these elements. Therefore, perform prayers and mantras for Sūryadevatā, Jaladevatā, Agnidevatā, Vāyudevatā, and Pṛthvīmātā. Modern thinking has destroyed human roots. We must return to nature and Vedic culture. We are doing this for the entire planet. Leave the world as pure as you received it. "If we pollute water, we indirectly pollute ourselves." "Fire is Viṣṇu, and ash is Lakṣmī." Gurudev is a goldsmith

Welcome to the spiritual home. Its atmosphere is a blessing of presence. You have entered the Ashram, which is a Paras-stone. Contact transforms your substance, like iron to gold, but three qualities remain: sharpness, form, and danger. The Satguru, as a goldsmith, can break these with the hammer of knowledge. This process is a beautiful pain. We are here for lectures on Nāda-Yoga and practice. Questions can be submitted for public or private answer. Prayer and singing happen daily. Prasāda, a blessed offering, is distributed. It grants Satbuddhi—good intellect and thoughts—which leads to world peace. It brings Siddhi: health, joy, and prosperity. The divine itself seeks blessing. True value is understood through devotion, not transaction. Distribute prasāda intuitively, not by counting. We also celebrate birthdays and offer collective prayers for specific intentions. Heartfelt good wishes are a powerful blessing. "An iron knife is united with the Paras. What happens? The knife turns into gold." "Prasāda means blessing. Blessing means Prasāda." Filming location: Strelka Ashram, Europe DVD 224

Prana and spirituality

The human form is a rare opportunity among countless creatures, created from the five elements and endowed with special abilities. Prāṇa is the vital energy that binds the five bodies—physical, energetic, mental, intellectual, and causal—into a single being. This causal body is born from desire, perpetuating the wheel of action and reaction. Prāṇa and Apāna are opposing forces; Prāṇa draws energy in, while Apāna expels waste. Their meeting point is the navel at the Maṇipūra Cakra. Impure Apāna, caused by consuming foods like meat, garlic, and beans, creates imbalance and disease, blocking spiritual ascent. Purity of body and thought is essential. Quality attracts quality; an impure mind is repelled by spiritual company. The essence of life is to realize its temporary nature and focus on the divine name. "Prāṇa is that energy which keeps together all the five bodies." "The joy is in the name of God. All your other works and business, everything is unreal." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 221

The power of Prayer

The eternal religion is Sanātana Dharma, the universal union with the cosmic Self. Man-made religions arise from incarnations, but the eternal truth is God, creation, and universal consciousness. All beings are born human, without religious labels; only karma determines the afterlife. Duality and religious violence exist only in the human mind. One must be aware of place and time, respecting the atmosphere of sacred spaces. Prayer must come from the heart as a personal consultation with the divine, emptying anger and hate. Scientific research confirms prayer, meditation, and yoga as treatments for stress and mental illness, yet institutional prejudice remains. Prayer is a spiritual tonic that strengthens mental power and fulfills wishes through complete surrender. The greatest protection is satsaṅg, the company of truth, a boat across the ocean of existence. Liberation comes from cultivating devotion, detachment, knowledge, austerity, and renunciation, not from passions like anger or greed. When lost or in fear, prayer is the emergency medicine that reveals the way. "Your karma is the major thing. Your karma is the most important thing." "Prayer should come from the heart, because it is easy to kneel down, but it's hard to bow the heart." Filming location: Strilky, Czech Republic DVD 220

Yoga unites all in one

Yoga is the cosmic science of uniting body, mind, and consciousness into oneness with Brahman, the singular, formless, and eternal reality. This truth is unchangeable, regardless of belief. The universe, a manifestation of this one God, operates through a divine resonance, the sound Oṁ, which pervades and unites all existence. The human body is a microcosm of this cosmos. The spiritual aim is to dissolve the individual ego and merge with Brahman, achieving permanent unity rather than temporary heavens. This requires systematic practice, self-inquiry, and ultimately surrendering all identity. Liberation is not found in worldly or heavenly enjoyments but in this direct realization. All spiritual teachings, like the principles of Yama and Niyama, guide this journey toward universal love and ultimate truth. "Eko brahma, dvitīya nāsti." — Only Brahman is the one; a second does not exist. "Prem galī ati saṅkarī, jahāṁ dui na samāī." — The street of love is so narrow, two cannot go together.
